Easy walk from ferry. Friendly welcome from staff, who also said we were getting a room upgrade. Lift to upper floors. Quiet room looking out on the church. Comfy bed. Kettle in room, but no fridge. Farly average breakfast buffet. Station is also close by and an easy walk. Nothing much to see in the town, though there was a market and quite a few places to eat and drink, and a supermarket nearby. A useful base for exploring the area, and somewhere easy to stay if arriving on the ferry from Sweden

Room did get very warm in late June. .

Our group of 5 friends traveling together stayed in the apartment at the hotel. It had 4 bedrooms and 5 very comfortable beds plus 1 1/2 bathrooms and a common area with a well appointed kitchen/dining area and sofa. We were very comfortable there. It is in a good location for walking around the town, close to restaurants and shopping. We were there for a music festival and thoroughly enjoyed having the apartment so we could be together. There is also a good sized lobby area with groupings of chairs and sofas. The included breakfast was very good quality. There was a nice selection of hot and cold food and drinks. The breakfast room was large and clean.

No complaints.

The hotel was ideally located walking distance to train station and ferry terminal. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room fairly basic but had everything that I needed . Was perfect place to stay before ferry to Sweden and excellent value for money

Shower a little awkward to use but very effective and made best use of space

a decent hotel that is close to attractions and the port. good breakfast and helpful reception staff. parking though we didn’t see it first is available at the hotel. cars can be parked in the nearby street also.

the rooms let in some noise, both from the street and from other rooms. notice that the parking spots are really narrow. you must be careful when getting out of the car or maybe passengers can get out before and then park the vehicle.

Recently stayed in the apartment within the hotel. The apartment was nice, spacious, and clean. the shower was a bit dated this the only thing that we found as a negative. The cost was pricey however seemed average for the local area. Breakfast offer was varied and food was fresh. Could benefit from hours being extended later than 9.30am the last half an hour was very busy.

The breakfast was amazing - very good options. Especially loved the pancakes! Staff were very welcoming and nice. Room was clean and spacious enough. Perfect location.

The shower looked more like a camping shower, rather than a hotel one. Also could hear other people snoring in different rooms!

Comfortable room and great breakfast which started early so was good for our early train. Reception staff were very helpful. Close to the railway station.

Our room faced the main street, so some traffic noise.

Excellent location near shops and restaurants and with free parking. Simple rooms and facilities but clean and tidy. very nice breakfast and the Wi-Fi is excellent.

Considering this was a cheap 'crash-1-night' hotel, we were extremely surprised by free parking, location and the very good breakfast.

The TV is utter crap - but thats not the point here :)

All about this place is great. The rooms are comfortable and bright and the beds are great. The food is great and the staff is really nice.
