the rooms were very clean, the bathroom and shower had heated floors, the bed was vert comfortable and the towels were good. breakfast was OK, fresh bread, a few types of cheese, yogurt and fruit. the lobby was wonderful and inviting and there was a coffee/tea corner we could use whenever we wanted. the room had a nice patio so we could eat outside. the town is very nice with shops and many hiking trails from the hotel parking area. the parking area had enough space for all the guests to park. many places to visit in the are within a short driving distance. will definitely return an recommend to others

Very good breakfast. Peaceful. In center of Frederiksværk. Bed ok, room ok. Wifi ok in the main building did not work in the rooms in the other building where we stayed. Free parking.

The pillows are very small and soft. Only one pillow per person, so we asked for another and got it, but this felt even smaller... They apologized for the lack of extra pillows.

The hotel is very nice and they have got a restaurant onsite now which is nice. Only complain we have got is we were give an upgrade and the room was excatly like last year. Also on the first morning the tea and Coffee was lukewarm appart from that it was great

We like older quirky hotels, as they have a lot more character than new, sterile ones. This hotel is very well maintained and is a wee visit into the past. We arrived in time for a late lunch in the restaurant, and the food was quite good.

Room was clean, staff was friendly, mattress exactly as I like it. Quiet evening and night. Easy access.

Would have liked bacon and scranbled eggs for breakfast The pillows were small and a bit lumpy. But as i was alone in a double bed, i had 2 pillows, that made it ok

I had a wonderful stay in a beautiful, classic-style room. The parking was convenient, and the location was ideal, just a short walk from the city center with everything within easy reach. Perfect for exploring the area!

The price was great, and the room was hot and comfortable. Breakfast was fine.

The shower curtains was too short, so the entire floor was wet having a shower. Would have been great with a small fridge int he room.
