The hotel is beautiful and quiet, modern design, streamlined and it had lots of space which made for a very comfortable stay. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept and the personnel was super attentive and friendly. The food and the drinks were very good as well.

The sales pitch, they asked us consistently (every morning prior to entering the breakfast area) to spend a “welcome breakfast” with one of their sales agents. We like our privacy and if you tell them you’re not interested the first time around, then that should be it.

The staff was friendly and welcomed us with hand massages🤭🙌. The VIP treatment was wonderful from the entrance to our leaving the staff kept us with our comfort. All restaurants were up to par.

The property is looks brand new, and it really impresses you with the pools around. We had a very good vacations. Room was always very clean. Amazing breakfast! Pretty much what you expect from a 5 stars resort.

Is on atlantic side of the island, so forget about turquoise waters. Beach still fine though. Everything which is not included is very very overpriced, I’m talking about 200$ for a wine bottle which values 70/80$. Spa is overpriced, between 300-400$ for a massage. Service is a bit slow and disappointing, they look disinterested most of the times.

We tried almost all restaurants except for the Mexican restaurant. Our favorite was Miraflores Cevicheria near the Pool Side and the Asian Tepanyaki Restaurant. The personnel at all restaurants were exceptional. They all had a big smile, happy and friendly. All had a great attitude. One of the strengths of this resort is the entertainment team. Jesus is an exceptional person with a great attitude and always with a big smile. His team was incredibly talented and kept the show alive! Will love to go back to Live Aqua Punta Cana! Keep the entertainment activities going because they make the vacation enjoyable and unforgettable.

There were no shampoos at the room, but we brought our own. :(

The hotel overpass my expectations, starting from the staff service quality, all of them are very kind, respectful and quick supportive; the facilities are beautiful, everything looks cleaned, the pool is very nice, the beach has an amazing view, the building and room are great, the service was exceptional provided in the restaurants where the food offered and variety is really good; service at the pool, private beach always well served and attended; room service is always available and quick; cleaning of the facilities and comfort at room by considering everything such as pillow types, air freshener makes delighted guests; additional the buffet breakfast is excellent because of the fact of quality service 20/10, quality food, options and presentation! Very recommended option this hotel.

EVERYTHING!!! Especially the staff, they are so nice and welcoming, they really helped us with anything we asked. The pool with the bar was lots of fun. The food was sooo good with lots of options - they even made us a special dish given our dietary restrictions (thank you chef Luis, you made our stay!)!! The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. We were excited to see a fragrance menu and a pillows menu in the room (though we didn't use it. The default choices were good). It even has a lazy button near your bed that turns off all lights at once. Seems like the hotel really pays attention to all the little details!

I loved how friendly & accommodating the staff were. I also loved our Butler Reynaldo he was a delight the whole trip. No kids allowed was the icing on the cake. I really enjoyed the amenities and the R&R on the beach.

I didn’t like how Jesus harassed me the whole trip to sign up for some resort voucher after I said No a sum of 5 to 6 times.

Everything was perfect. The whole place is very clean and modern. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The beach is amazing and you can walk across the shore passing other resorts which makes the walk even better. There are different restaurants with great food offerings. The room was great exactly like the pictures.

The open buffet food (breakfast & lunch) was mediocre or even below average. However, the restaurants (dinner) are amazing. We mentioned that we were on our honeymoon but we didn’t find anything that took that into consideration (not even petals in the room or sth like that).

The best resort we've ever been to, 10/10 recommend!!! Check in was easy and they valet our car for free parking during our whole stay. The resort is beautiful, with pools and gardens throughout. We got the most "basic" junior room but it was huge with a king bed, TV, stocked mini fridge, pull out couch, table with chairs, a big bathroom with double sink and the shower was huge with two shower heads :) AC in the room was strong to keep us cool from the heat outside. There's also a balcony overlooking the gardens and pools with a jaccuzi bathtub, bed, and table/chair. The resort has like 8 restaurants and the food is sooooo good, very high quality. The breakfast and lunch buffets in particular were incredible and so delicious. Lots of variety of good food, so many options to choose from. There are quiet pools along the resort but the main big pool is fun to be in, there's a DJ that plays good music and takes requests for songs. The resort is right on the beach too and has chairs/tables if you'd rather be on the beach than the pool. This resort has scheduled activities and entertainment. They have an "entertainment team" that is so young, fun, and full of energy. They teach you to dance, play beach volleyball with you, lead pool aerobics, etc. There's a movie theater/stage room where they have movies and host shows like a magic show. They also have live bands for dancing bachata and salsa. They even had a fire show on the beach and a foam party in the pool. We went as a couple in our 30's and were pleasantly surprised that almost everyone there was our age. They even had a nightclub open until 3am!

The hotel is very large so it can be a long distance to walk from the restaurants to your room or pool. BUT you can request staff to pick you up or drop you off on golf carts.

The beach

I didn't like the smell of mold in the room. Be careful if you get a room in the first building and want to sleep, it's impossible because the music is very loud every night! On the 4th day of our vacation I got infected from their food (Diarrhea for 6 days), on the last night of our vacation my husband got infected and I called the hotel doctor who said I have to pay $300 for the consultation, of course in the end the hotel paid for the doctor! So we pay $4500 for a week to get sick and have a terrible vacation, shame on you with the old and expired food!!!!
