Great hotel, walking distance from the Centro Historico. About 5 blocks) Rooms are clean and spacious. Our room had 5 beds, which was perfect for our cousin get-together (girl's vacation) Staff is wonderful. Extra friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was simple but sufficient: An egg made to order, a fresh juice, coffee, bread and marmalade. They will also hold your luggage if needed pre/post checkout. Overall I'd give it a 9/10. Only due to some beds being uncomfortable, but I'd definitely return on my next trip.

Areas for improvement: Some of our beds were really hard/uncomfortable. It would be nice to have maybe a choice of sliced ham or bacon with the eggs (but that's American style)

If you are looking for a quiet place to stay while you visit Cuenca this is a great option. I requested a room in the back so as to avoid noise from the street and it was great. The room was clean and secure.

There was a very strong smell of cleaning chemicals when we first checked in. Luckily we opened the window, and by the time we returned to the room a few hours later it had completely dissipated. This I'm sure is not always an issue, but for anyone who is scent sensitive, it was a bit much.

Front desk staff exceptional service with calling taxi, helping out when things needed. Beds very comfortable, quiet room, hot showers, good wi-fi. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, plazas, etc.

No one spoke any English, use google translate and you will be fine.Basically same breakfast choices every morning.

Everything. The staff was professional and hard working. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained. Breakfast was top notch. Eggs are your way! Beds were a dream. Don’t miss out on taking a coffee or coca-cola to the top. It’s a beautiful glassed in sitting area with a lovely view of the city. I watched fireworks up there one night. I felt like it was the top of my castle. I asked for extra pillows and towels and they brought even fluffier ones.

Nothing. They allow pets. The hotel DOES NOT SMELL LIKE THEY DO. If you like dogs, but don’t have one, don’t let this deter you. This hotel is spotless and always smells pleasant. I am a bargain shopper but my Spanish skills aren’t strong enough to negotiate. Anyway, you are very close to Mercado October 10 you will have a blast here.

The front desk person Marcos was extremely helpful professional and courteous. The hotel is mid-range quality with all amenities: good size room, wifi, tv, breakfast, hot water, daily room service, security, elevator, front desk. Good location and good value for Cuenca. Muchos Gracias Marcos.

drainage in shower wasn’t great

Staff was friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. I love the fact the breakfast they provide is made with freshly made fruit juices, fresh housemade jam and fresh bread from a local bakery.To me it does make a difference and helps you appreciate the effort they put in make sure the guess needs are met. The hotel is within 15 walking distance from the main park and local tourits spots and attracctions.

Nice big room with sitting area, table, mirror, comfortable bed and closet. Excellent location 10 min walk from parque Calderon. Very good internet in room and common areas - able to teach Zoom classes. Marcos and Rafael were very helpful and attentive.

Recommend a hook or place in the shower to put stuff other than on the floor. Recommend a small table in the bathroom to place toiletries.

It's more personal than something sbout the property that I didn't like. I wish they offer hot water & refills for tea, otherwose their breakfast was very good.

The location in historic center was excellent, close to everything. The breakfast was great and served for 3 hours. The power was on all the time despite shortages.

The hotel manager went above and beyond to help us with all our requests and needs. Breakfast came with our accommodations and it was excellent. We were able to get a taxi right outside the hotel lobby. The hotel was in the historic center of Cuenca. The hotel staff was very friendly and attentive.

The beds were harder than I like, but, that seems the norm here in Ecuador.
