Beautifully maintained and fully renovated old, colonial Spanish mansion turned into a 21st century boutique hotel with approximately 20 and a gorgeous interior patio. Excellent service, and special compliments to Fernanda, at the front desk for her endless attention to detail, her warm smile, and her positive disposition at all times. The hotel's location is excellent, near many restaurants and the main square. I also liked the free, available coffee or tea throughout day, and the quality of the bathroom products.

While I love the concept of an old, restored mansion, it has its drawbacks. My room was on the 1st floor, facing the interior patio and restaurant, and having the curtains open was impossible, as many people were always walking in the vicinity. The bathroom has no window or exterior light, and ventilation was not the best.

This is an exquisite hotel. Set in a former private home from 1856 converted annd later converted into a hotel in 1999. There was a beautiful sitting room, that everyone can enjoy. Staying at this place, really gives one the opportunity to experience luxury from another era. My room was simply delightful. The room was well appointed, and had all the necessities to make one very comfortable . An added bonus is that the hotel is located one block from the main square so it is close to all the action, but not impacted by all the noise. It is also three blocks from an amazing market. The staff was top-notch. Completely professional, but very friendly and helpful. The restaurant at the hotel is fantastic! I had eaten at many of different locations in the town and found this to be the best by far. I would highly recommend eating at the restaurant at this hotel. You will not be disappointed.

Beautifully maintained property in a great, central location. Within walking distance to tons of restaurants, cafes and markets. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing, all were incredibly helpful and kind.

It is an older building so the walls are very thin. Noisy neighbors made it a bit difficult to fall asleep. Would suggest using earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Very hot in our room facing the sun in the morning and no A/C. I had indicated we were just married in email exchanges prior to arriving, we didn't even get a congratulatory welcome mentioning it. Disappointing. The hotel restaurant is abusively expensive by Ecuadorian standard. To be avoided if possible.

Beautiful hotel. Excellent staff—all are very welcoming and professional. Especially Fernanda at the Front Desk and Julian in the restaurant for dinner the first night and breakfast each morning.

Poor wifi The room was spacious but had no space where to place a backpack, anything like a simple shopping bag, a bottle of water. There was no space available for clothes, shoes, etc, no drawers, the closet was useless.

The staff was excellent, super friendly, and cordially. The location is excellent and within walking distance and tourism. I highly recommend it, and the city is one of the best of Ecuador. Julian was great, and Ms. Carmita was always checking if we needed anything.

A wonderful experience, one of our best hotels in Ecuador. Great breakfast and fantastic staff in most cases. We had one issue with a guide and the staff was able to resolve the situation in a fair way

Beautiful old style. Very accessible to much of the city. The staff were amazing, just need to bring a good translation app if your Spanish is poor like mine. They were helpful with everything and absolutely went the extra mile.

Unfortunately, the location can be quite noisy until late at night and starting early in the morning. Not so much of a problem if you’re accustomed to tuning out city noises or wearing earplugs to sleep.

Great experience, beautiful renovated house. Service was impecable and helpful. Concierge was helpful in arranging a tour to Ingapirca, reservation in restaurants. The location was ideal, we walked to museums, churches, restaurants, clubs. Great place, great location
