The location is just in Cairo down town, very near to Nile river, Egyptian museum, Al Ahli exchange, Banks Restaurants, photo Studios, clinics and metro station is just 3 minutes walk that can take you anywhere in Cairo. I really felt I was connected with everywhere I want to go and if you want to compare the money value it was the best in price and money value in comparison to other category of cost saving hotels or hostels. Unlike other hotel I personally visited to have a look ,I can say the photos on booking.com for New Palace hotel are - almost - real. Stay in New palace Hotel, save your money.

Just a bit old though it is the case for the entire down town area.

Ahmed and all the staff at New Hotel Palace (Sami, Hend, Salal, the guy serving breakfast, Ayman... and many more) made me feel like one more of their family, helping me with logistics, giving me superb recommendations, and useful advice. The hotel has a nice old-style vibe that captivated me. The rooms are spacious, clean, and the beds very comfortable. Don't miss the great views from the restaurant! Once again, thank you for everything. When I go back to Cairo, I will definitely stay here again!

As per the description and the price this is a budget hotel, and while it can be felt in the bathroom which would indeed need some maintenance, the atmosphere of the place and the professionalism of the staff is definitely palace level. We had a great stay and definitely didn't expect more. The location is perfect in a beautiful historical building, close from the train station, the metro and in a great area of Cairo with all kinds of shops. On top of that the included breakfast was excellent. We will definitely come back if in Cairo.

Fantastic location just a minute walk to the pyramids tickets and entrance and amazing views from the roof top. Breakfast was filling abd tasty. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Bed was very comfortable, and room was very clean. Nice to have a fridge, kettle and tea varieties

The name on the signage is different to what it is called on here so it was confusing to know if I had the right place.

For the third times i ve been to the new palace hotel...everything was allright...a helpful staff...a celan rooms...good cafeteria and restaurant.. .Note that the staff is very professional and always smiling ...the hotel is close to what you re looking for..market...place of tahrir...cairo tower etc So!!! I would come back to it. Do the same ..you ll be satified. Thanks for all.

Nothing at all

Mr. Muhammad (aka Ramses II) is very helpful! From the moment I've arrived he helped me to arrange my stay. He used to be a tourist guide so his egyptology knowledge is very impressive! With his help, I took trips (organised by him with personal driver) to Saqqara, Dashur, Giza and Memphis (trips around Cairo are also possible). He was always there to answer my questions about Ancient and Modern Egypt! The room was clean with very nice view from the balcony. The hotel itself is a crazy mix between traditional style and ancient Egypt fantasy :) Breakfast was healthy and tasty. Location is very near Metro Station and Egyptian Musuem. Special thanks to Semi (miss your smile Buddy) And to Shafir and his family and friends. Best Ramadan's dinner that I ever had! :)

The location was in a good place near the food street, Train and Metro station. The room was big Enough. Mr. Samy was helpful enough to change the tubes and other requests to be fulfilled.

Breakfast can be changed once in 2 days at least. It is the same Breakfast every day. Air Conditioning does not have temperature control, Which means that we cannot make it hot in cold weather. It is set at a cool temperature and does not change the temperature.

New Palace Hotel is tremendous. I booked at midnight, arrived 1.30 am , and didn't have local currency. Mustafa the night manager was so welcoming and said don't worry ,rest and can sort out next day. The rooms are large , comfortable and have balconies with views. Comfortable beds, clean and good wifi. Lovely classic building with great ,helpful and friendly security. Cleaning staff are so good. Great breakfast if required. Mustafa, Soliman, Mohammed and the lovely lady who all rotate on the front desk, managerial job are so helpful,friendly and great at their job. And English speaking. A special mention of Sammi who helped with so many things . Great job Sammi. This hotel is such good value for the price. You could spend so much more on other hotels not nearly as good. This hotel is in the heart of Downtown Cairo. 5 mins walk to the center. You couldn't find a more convenient location for all the popular places to visit. Near subway as well. I will be back here as soon as possible. I call it my home in the magnificent city of CairoNew Palace Hotel

Really it was a family like place to stay. I was welcomed very warmly. Ms Marwa was very professional and helpful and always kind. She checked me in and offered welcome drink. Mr Mohamed also welcomed me and showed me to the room. The room was clean, had everything necessary . Very sunny. In the morning I could hear birds singing. The room had shower towels, tissues and warm blankets as it is sometimes cold in winter. The location of the hotel is really good as you can easily access the whole city. I want to specifically say thank you and emphasize the kindness and professionalism of all who work in the hotel, Ms Marwa again, Mr Mohamed and his personal welcome, stuff who kindly attended to my requests, and roof cafeteria with tasty breakfast - a big thank you to Mr Saber for his kindness in serving breakfast and tea and Mr Salaa. Also Mr Soliman in reception was very helpful. Thank you all and I will come back again 🙏🏻

Everything is perfect because people are kind and professional

Great location near Metro, train station, shops, cafes and restaurants. Not really quiet, but nowhere in central Cairo is quiet. It has got a working lift. Super friendly staff, lovely, clean, big room with balcony, delicious (local) breakfast. I can fully recommend!

It is a budget hotel, so, if you don't expect five star facilities, you will like it here. I like it and will be staying here again in december. 👍
