The Pyramids View Inn is a really authentic and nice place to stay if you want to visit the pyramids and don‘t want an anonymus, expensive 5-star-hotel. The owner is very nice and welcoming, helps you with everything if you want but also does not push and lets you be if you want to do things on your own. The room is clean and comfortable and we saw the pyramids from our small window. The terrasse has an even more stunning view on the pyramids! The breakfirst is authentic, too, with homemade falafel and lentils and bread with cheese and jam. You have to be aware that the surrounding is a normal neighborhood in Gizeh. Yes, it‘s dusty, there are many locals, dogs, horses, we did not meet many tourists. But we especially liked that. And it is a short foot walk to the pyramids!! There are many restaurants where you can eat in front of the pyramids. We ate for example at the roof top bar 7000 and watched the light show there, it was very nice! The owner also helps you if you arrive late or even at night. We took an Uber from the airport (be careful that they don‘t trick you and cancel the ride when they start driving! We had that with our Uber driver from the airport and had to discuss the price, but everything went well in the end. Uber said it costs around 120 EGP from the airport to Gizeh. We payed around 300 EGP in the end, which is a bit less than 10$, you should not have to pay more) It helps a lot to have a sim card in Egypt with mobile internet, I can recommend it to use Uber in Cairo and plan your trip. We bought one at the airport at the vodafone booth with 20 GB. Google Maps shows the right location of the Pyramids View Inn. It is the easiest if you come from the main road and just go to the right. Our Uber driver tried to come from the backside, where the pyramids are but the roads are very tiny there and it‘s hard to get to the hotel. From the main road it‘s very easy!

The host Osama is really helpful through my stay in Cairo. He went above and beyond to make my trip a memorable journey. He gave me a lot of advice for my plan, and when he heard my cruise got cancelled by tripadvisor, he immediately recommended his friends to help me to plan for the rest of my trip. It really saved my family trip in Egypt. You definitely can trust him, and it will save you a lot of effort throughout your trip. Regarding the facility, this is his family business. So don't treat it same as hotel. He will try to make the best for your stay. You will get more than a hotel stay.
