Although there was an issue with the paint smell in my original room, I truly appreciate how promptly and professionally it was handled. A special thank you to Carol Ashraf for her kind assistance in arranging a room change and for the generous upgrade the following day—it made a big difference in my stay. I’d also like to express my gratitude to Front Desk Manager Mahmoud for his kind words and thoughtful gesture before my departure. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout and the staff were helpful. There was a lot of choice on the breakfast buffet including various types of freshly cooked eggs.

As an English speaker, I would have liked more tv stations and something other than news programs. We stayed in the North Tower, which has no lobby. In order to meet our driver, we had to reach the lobby in the South Tower. That area was very cold and uncomfortable. As there is no waiting area for drivers, we had to stand outside in the cold until our driver arrived and hurriedly enter the vehicle.

The hotel met the expectations, but we had big apartment with nile view and access to the lounge. Cairo/Giza are very polluted which you can smell in the rooms, especially when the AC was off. Location was good, but for the most part you need a car to get anywhere anyways, so I don't think it makes such a big difference. Breakfast were very good, but no diversity, everyday the same things. In the winter you won't be able to use swimming pool since it is outside, the pool is small anyways, so it's rather to cool off in the hot days than to swim. The best part of the hotel was definitely the gym, one of the best ones I've seen in the hotels. Another good part for us was the limousine service, it wasn't overpriced, the car was always available, very good drivers, great service.

The smell in the room, very often when we came back from the trips it smelled like somebody was having a smoke in our room or a room next to it.

Our stay at the Sheraton Cairo Hotel & Casino was absolutely fantastic! The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We especially loved the men who greeted us when we first entered and were always ready to assist with anything we needed. On our last night, we dined at the Middle Eastern restaurant (see food photos), and it was extremely good. We enjoyed our meal so much that the chef, Mohamed (I believe), came out to say hello and check on how we liked the food, which was a nice touch. The food was exceptional! Additionally, all our room service food was delicious and arrived quickly. The view from our room was beautiful, and the upgraded modern rooms were so nice and comfortable, with plenty of space. It was perfect for me traveling with my father, who is 68, as the room was large and ideal for our needs. The housekeeping service was very nice too. We always came back to a cleaned room, which was so nice after a long day, and they helped accommodate us with an iron swap because ours wasn't working properly. We also received a complimentary chocolate plate on our first night and fresh fruit baskets during the other days, which made our stay even more special. I also loved that there is a bank on-site, which was very convenient. Carol at guest services was so sweet and helped us by printing our boarding passes for Luxor. The customer service exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this hotel!

Nothing, everything was excellent.

The hotel truly represents an international standard in every sense of the word. The European star rating system was well-reflected in the quality of services and facilities. The staff was fully fluent in English. Check-in The check-in process was clear and straightforward. The receptionist explained the entire payment procedure thoroughly, and we encountered no issues with charges. Breakfast The breakfast area offered a stunning view of the Nile, which was a highlight on its own. The breakfast included both continental options and a station for made-to-order dishes such as fresh scrambled eggs, shakshuka, and traditional Egyptian bread. The food and service were excellent. Fitness and Wellness Area We used the sauna, which was a great experience. It wasn’t crowded, and the staff was very helpful in setting up facilities like the steam room. Concierge We took advantage of the concierge services, and the staff answered all our questions. We also booked a tour through the hotel’s partner company. The guide spoke excellent English and had extensive knowledge, allowing him to provide detailed information about the attractions and answer all our questions. The tour was very enjoyable, and we highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, we experienced food poisoning at one of the hotel’s restaurants (the Japanese one), which negatively impacted the rest of our trip. It’s evident that the hotel is not brand new—some parts of the property were under renovation, although this did not interfere with our stay. It’s also worth noting that the hotel’s central location means there is heavy traffic around the clock. Additionally, the room’s ventilation system was noisy, which altogether means it can be loud at night.

The fact that additional tax and charges were not included in the price we originally booked at. The additional tax was 28% which is a significant component of your total cost. This meant that the original price quoted on Booking.com was very different to what we ended up paying. Although Booking.com says that taxes and charges are not included in their quoted price, it should, nevertheless quote the full cost (as it should be known) or give an estimate of the additional taxes and charges. That way, the customer has an idea of the all-inclusive costs so there are no surprises.

Spacious room with a breathtaking view from the balcony. Breakfast buffet was really nice with plenty of options. Friendly staff. Food quality for in room dining is fabulous.

Some reception workers don't speak good enough English so I didn't get the information I wanted. Maria Raouf, the lobby ambassador, called my room at 7:30pm just for not taking a thought that my 1 year old might be sleeping at that time (which he was). Woke him up and ruined the entire evening for us. Cigarettes smell pretty much throughout the entire hotel, worst on the 1st floor where the reception is.

Outstanding customer service across all the services of the hotel. Omar A.azem at the breakfast, Abdoulhamid at the Italian restaurant and the gentlemen at the concierge made my stay at the hotel even better. Very respectful and caring toward myself and the boys. Always happy to help and smiling. I was impressed so thank you.

The pool would do with heating so guest can have a full enjoyment of what the hotel has to offer. We couldn’t use the pool as the water was so cold. So as everyone else as we didn’t see anyone swimming for the week we spent at the hotel.
