the rooftop 😍😍 amazing view- directly to the the pyramids- to eat breakfast (which was very nice every day) looking at the great pyramids is something we will never forget. the staff was all very friendly and helpful. wi-fi worked perfectly. very good value for money

Great staff, great breakfast and quite a stylish and very clean property

It was a challenge for taxi drivers to find, despite them having location information. The manager was only interested in us in respect of selling tours. He seemed not to like independent travellers. .

Islam was so lovely and welcoming. He was always there to make sure you had everything you needed. The chef who prepared the food was great. Food was lovely. Nice quiet hotel. The man at reception changed my room in the middle of the night at my request so that was really helpful!

No backup generator when power cuts out which means no water or aircon and its pitch black in the corridors so it was very hard to get back to my room. Room isn’t cleaned throughout the stay and the pool filter needs to be on all the time. But these can all be fixed very easily. I was charged a £22 english pound card fee on arrival which is very high especially for egypt. My room change was charged at £17 extra but on booking it was only £3.

We liked our staying at Sofia pyramids Hotel. There is a pyramids view from the roof (where the breakfast is served) so you feel the vibe every morning. Also it is possible to order lunch/dinner at restaurant for extra-pay which is good especially knowing the fact that there are no shops or cafes near the hotel. What's really great about this hotel is that it is brand new so the whole interior and furniture and so on is nice and clean. The restaurant and swimming pool also look this way - like they've been freshly cleaned. The staff was friendly and everyone was asking us, how is our day going, are we glad with our breakfast/staying at hotel and so on, that was cute. The design is minimalistic and stylish and everything's working fine (air conditioning, water, fridge, etc) We have chosen this hotel by photos (it seemed like the newest and the most beautiful one, especially near the pyramids) and we weren't disappointed

What's sad is that rooms do not have pyramids view but that's not a really big deal, and also be assured that the swimming pool seems smaller than on photos

Everything especially the fact that it was a brand new built hotel three months ago super clean. Most likely the most amazing view in cairo. I would wake up and go to sleep overlooking the pyramids and something very important. It was clean and it was not as dustious everywhere else in cairo.

I loved everything the roof top was 1 Of my favorite spots I would hang out there every morning and evening. The breakfast was great the view was amazing. The staff was on top of it make sure that kitted after every wilm especially Islam.

We arrived in the evening and the area did not look very good, however in the morning once we had a chance to look around everything was fine. There is a security guard and gates at the entrance to the road. The room was very spacious, very large fridge. The breakfast was offered directly from a menu and cooked to order. Staff were amazing - very friendly. View from the pool area over the pyramids. The hotel offers lunch and dinner and we enjoyed both.

there was no hairdryer in the room. there is a surcharge on all the food and drink Egypt tax and hotel surcharge which in total is around 25% on top of your bill. 75EGP for a can of coke. More than we paid in the airport :(

Nice views of pyramids from terrace and the breakfast was very tasty and generous and the kitchen staff very friendly. Room and bed was clean and comfortable.

The hotel does not have anything else close to it so you need to Uber everywhere. The restaurant is also very expensive compared to pretty much anywhere and then added tax and service charge. We stayed 3 nights and I would stay here again but in that time, no room clean or towel change etc. The hotel can offer to arrange excursions as well but at around $100 a person, you're better off finding a local guide and DIY it. Although this is nothing against the hotel, it's just very expensive. It cost us with an Uber and a guide to go to Sakara, Papyrus shop, Giza Pyramids and Spynx as well as oil shop around $85 total vs. what would have been $250 for 2 adults and a 7 year old. Small thing but the kettle could not really be plugged in properly and only 1 cup.

The breakfast was fantastic, hats off to the chef. Best omelette!! The staff were great, especially Islam, Mahmoud and Khalid. The owner Samman was very helpful, arranging driver to collect both me and my cousin. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms very clean and modern.

The pool is very shallow and quite small, but it meets purpose of a good dipping pool to cool off. Very clean too and the view of the pyramids while having breakfast was amazing.

Being a frequent traveler I rarely give full score to any property including some of well known high end 5 stars hotels but without any doubt Sofia hotel has ranked number one accommodation for me and will be for my friends in the near future, the welcome reception desk and particularly Mr Abel aziz and Doha were beyond super Amazing and my check in process took less than five min , Great quality Room with all needed and paractical layout for any traveler either visiting for work or pleasure sight seeing , zizo Answered all my inquiries in a top professional manner and so did Doha, my breakfast was delivered when needed preceded by a warm phone call from the acting general Manger Me Mohammed who made sure to pass by my room and made sure that I had no other needs , the excective Director/owner Me Samman called me personally to facilitate my arrival and if I needed any help with directions to the hotel .. Nada the housekeeper kept my room spotless during my stay even the Gate keeper was warm and welcoming... i personally recommends Sophia hotel to Any traveler seeking great priced n great accommodation while in Cairo ... thanks Sofia hotel and staff..
