The cleanliness, the staff and the location

Excellent location next to the train station and in easy walking distance to the historical city center. New building, comfortable rooms, floor heating in the bathroom, good breakfast buffet and helpful friendly staff

The rooms were modern and the location was very convenient for the city centre. The staff were helpful and spoke good English. We won free breakfasts which were of good quality, with a good variety of food and drink available.

The standard of cleaning wasn’t great. The room was a little dusty in places, and the shower head was covered in limescale. Underfloor heating in the bathroom didn’t appear to work. Parking is expensive, and the payment machine is in a strange place, only accessible via a specific lift which is poorly labelled.

I like this chain. Comfortable and funny design rooms. The location is perfect.

There was just one problem with breakfast. It says in booking it would be 15.90€ per person at the property and there they said 18 instead. I've tried to explain and showed the reservations email. Afterwards also tried to fix it per email but no luck. It was more for the principle of it than about the 6€, but they really did not care. And on top, the breakfast experience was not so nice: it is a very nice breakfast but it took a while until we found a clean table for 3 because it was really busy.

The room was well designed to fit and store everything in an efficient manner, so there was plenty of space to move about. The amenities were well thought out and put in strategic locations (wireless charging, dimmable desk lamp, etc.), so they were easy and fun to use. The room was nicely soundproofed and surprisingly quiet (even the side facing the street), although the station was only a 3 minute walk away.

The crowds around the station were a bit too noisy and rowdy for my liking. However, once you got into the hotel, everything was quiet. The scrambled eggs at breakfast was too dry and powdery, but that's about the only complaint!

I do like the colorful style of the hotel and in principle I also liked the breakfast. Parking (outdoors on a private parking) is easy and the hotel is easy to reach, also by train, yet well connected with the city center. Beds were comfy and I really enjoyed my interactions with the reception staff. Super friendly and personally engaged with a nice hint of humor.

Coffee is a disaster. Unfortunately, the parking ticket pay machine didn't work during our stay. Furthermore, hotel WiFi was broken as well and couldn't be fixed within 48 hours, which made it a bit more complicated for business trip purposes. That can happen and I'd give the place a second chance. Some of the carpets in the hotel carry some stains already, also in the room.

A great hotel conveniently situated for the main railway station. Despite its proximity to the railway line, and despite the fact our room faced out towards the railway, good glazing ensured that no outside noise could be heard, and you could literally hear a pin drop in our room. The room was stylish, comfortable, and well equipped, and the air-conditioning was certainly a blessing. The bathroom even featured underfloor heating! The decor is amazing, sort of a retro futuristic feel. Think of the film A Clockwork Orange (one of my favourite) and this will give you a feel for the place. The staff on reception were great, and had a good level of English to offset my poor German, so checkin/out was a breeze. The hotel bar was open till late, and provided a decent range of beer from pils through to wiess and dunkel. All in all, a fantastic hotel, and well worth the money.

If I must nitpick, then I'll say the curtains let in a little too much daylight, first thing in the morning. I will say though, that 34 years of shift work has made me an exceptionally light sleeper. My girlfriend had no trouble sleeping in till 10am.

New hotel, with excellent comfort and cleanliness. It was such a positive surprise!

Nothing, really.

I needed a hotel close to the train station for a night, and this was a not so expensive hotel, only a few minutes walk from the station. But also not far from the city center and the major sights. The room was larger and nicer than expected, with strong colors, a good bed and nice bathroom. Also some nice special features like a bed with extra space under it for luggage, and several large mirrors. The railway tracks were a short distance away but the room was well sound-proofed and trains did not disturb. I fouond the place to be good value for money and I would stay here again.

Nothing to complain aboout.
