I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, comfortable, and tastefully decorated, with everything I needed for a relaxing night. Breakfast was a highlight – fresh, delicious, and with plenty of variety to suit every taste. I especially appreciated the local specialties and freshly brewed coffee. The atmosphere of the hotel is charming and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a memorable experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything is great about this hotel: location, staff, facility, rooms, food. It is great value for what you pay. In particular the staff are so attentive and helpful and make you feel special. They go out of their way for you. The room sizes are big by European standards and well laid out. And you didn't lack for any amenities. I was so pleased with this hotel and it's been the highlight of my trip so far - as has Erfurt which is a fabulous town.

The carpet needs to be replaced. Everything was clean but the stained carpets in hallways (in particular) and in rooms gave it a dirty look.

Although I was a bit shocked by the exterior when I arrived at the destination, once you get inside, it is very beautiful. The rooms are spacious, and the overall atmosphere in the hotel is pleasant. Regarding breakfast, I had some concerns. Being a smaller space, it was divided into three slots, and clearly, the middle slot was the most crowded. But in the end, it was well organized, and I didn't encounter any problems on any day.

I can't say that I didn't like it, but at first, I think I would have needed something more visible regarding the access from outside. You have to call an intercom. Expecting a classic hotel with direct access to the reception, I panicked when I found some closed doors. I arrived at night, and the feeling was very strange. I was lucky that someone came out for a cigarette and guided me further. Everything worked perfectly after that.

Great room and location. Especially for roaming around in the town. Parking underground and on hotel premises in the middle of the city meant easy access. Great breakfast

One thing one has to be prepared for, is finding the hotel. Which much due to one way streets and detours, wasn't downright easy. I'd recommend use of Google Maps to ascertain you're on the right track. My Garmin wouldn't give me the right path at first. Not so much a didn't like, although it was a lot more central than I initially thought. If you're a motorcycle rider just make sure you're on the right track finding the hotel :)

Hotel is located on a side street, just 10 min walk from the train, 5 min to Kramerbrucke or Fischmarkt. Room was decent size for Europe, smaller but with a well-organized bathroom and square enclosed shower. Very comfy bed. No coffee maker in room but not really an issue as breakfast is included in price. Since their breakfast room was smaller, you signed up for a breakfast timeslot, which insured you got a table. Good breakfast of scrambled eggs, rolls, meat, cheese, & sausages plus a pot of coffee was placed on each table. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Good centre location that allowed us to park the car and walk everywhere. This was a 2 bed apartment that was well equipped for our stay with a good size bathroom and extra separate toilet. Food and drink available with an evening bar to relax in.

Cost of parking was a little steep but then again we aren't used to pay for all day parking. Breakfast also rather expensive at 20 euros per person per day.

My room and bathroom seemed newly remodeled and were very nice. Although my room faced a street with a tram line, it was not unusually noisy and I had no trouble sleeping. I was on the 7th floor. The hotel is nicely decorated and close to the interesting sights of Erfurt and to the train station. The breakfast was outstanding, the breakfast room was very pleasant. the hotel has a bar.

The mattress was very firm, I found it a bit uncomfortable to sleep on.

Service (4/5): The staff were exemplary. Breakfast (5/5): The breakfast offered at Hotel Zumnorde showcased a variety of dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, I would highly recommend Hotel Zumnorde to anyone visiting the city.

The welcome (1/5): Upon my arrival at Hotel Zumnorde at 22:45h, I encountered a rather disappointing welcome experience. Despite having informed the hotel of my late arrival through Booking and receiving confirmation that it wouldn't be an issue, I found myself standing at the main entrance, repeatedly ringing the bell with no response. Unfortunately, my phone was experiencing service issues, preventing me from calling the hotel reception. It was only thanks to my sister, who was in another country, that contact with the hotel reception was established. This was highly inconvenient, especially given the late hour and my fatigue.

The location in the centar,the staff from the reception was very polite especially the waitress from the restaurant who was from Sweden was very communicative and polite.There is a parking garage down in the hotel,an elevator and very nice garden where you can drink the coffee in nice surrounding.The room was very comfortable,big enough and has everything what you need for your stay.Nice breakfast.

Nothing to criticize,everything was perfect

Usual choices in an adequate room, coffee machine worked well, nice selections. Friendly staff, most with adequate or good English. Spacious room with comfortable furniture. Walk-in shower. Lobby bar with beer and wine to end the day.

Bed too firm, could only get one mattress topper (which was comfortable).
