I loved everything, super safe, really comfortable, staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was great, just by the beach, pharmacy and restaurants just a walking distance. The breakfast was really complete, the breakfast staff efficiency in stocking the breakfast was impressing, never ran out of anything even when the room was full.

Just a small note for the pool, it would probably need to have a better water flow system, it seemed like the water was not flowing, leaving all small particles of dirt in the water and by the end on the day the water would be really warm.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel in Barra de Tijuca! The location is perfect, offering easy access to the beach and surrounding areas. The staff was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable (they even got us a wheelchair because we had to go to the Hospital one evening). The breakfast buffet was a standout, with a wide variety of delicious options to start the day. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area!

We were disappointed with the amenities during our stay. The swimming pool was quite small, and the sauna was even tinier, making it hard to enjoy. The gym felt desolated and outdated, lacking the equipment and atmosphere you'd expect for a hotel of this caliber. Additionally, the lighting in the shower of the room was poor, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. Overall, the facilities didn’t meet our expectations, and we hope the hotel considers upgrades in the future.

The hotel had a great room with lots of space and the pool and sauna facilities were fantastic. Rooftop pool was surprisingly not too busy, even at sunset and the beach was right out front. Lots of available taxis and 24 hour staff. Very quiet neighbourhood with a few good restaurants within a short walking distance. Was a great place to stay if you want your Rio experience to be well-sanitized.

A coffee maker in the room would have been a huge bonus, being able to make a first cup of coffee on our own would have made this a perfect stay. We did miss being in a busier neighbourhood as there wasn't a huge range of food and restaurant options without walking 15-20 minutes to the main drag, but the two restaurants next door were well-priced and delicious. Barra de Tijuca is a very car-centric neighbourhood and we preferred the character and bustle of Leme and Copacabana.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, especially the fruits and the fruit salad but generally all very tasty, with a good selection of sweet and savory dishes. The swimming pool was on the top floor, could have been a bit bigger but still very nice. Same for the gym, which had only a few treadmills, a couple of elliptical machines and bikes and some weights, not the best but enough. The sauna area was more spacious and really nice.

There is nothing really to complain about. If one really wants to find something not as good as the rest of the facilities and services of the hotel, that's the parking system. Just out of the hotel they have a stand where you can leave the keys and a valet will park the car for you but often no one was guarding the stand and I would have to go back inside and ask reception to call the valet to get my car. Some valets would then try to make up for having me waiting by rushing up the parking ramp like they were playing GTA.

Breakfast was delicious, a lot of options. The room was confy, beds were comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean, great side view from the beach.

There was a big line for checkout, it was a rush hour around 12h, but nothing explain that long of a line, I spent more than 30 minutes waiting. I also was stuck in one of the elevators, we pressed the emergency buttons inside trying to talk to some responsible, but no one answered. I had to call by phone the front desk to get support. Also the magnet card used to access the rooms didn´t work properly, I went so many times in the reception to magnet them again.

Great hotel, amazing room and facilities. The breakfast was nice but because i arrived 30 minutes before the end of breakfast. Somethings were no longer available, I guess it should be available to all guests regardless of the time. Items should be only removed after the breakfast closure.

The pool bar sign stated that it closes at 19:00hrs. I went up there to have a drink at 18:30hrs and it was already closed. Then I went to the lobby bar and the bartender was already closing the bar at 19:00hrs. He redirect me to the other hotel Windsor Barra to go to the bar. I was disappointed and confused why would a hotel lobby bar would close at 19:00hrs when it is the time that people wants to have a cocktail after their meetings or before going for dinner.

We had a beautiful view of the sea, that came at a price, which is fine.

The hotel didn't provide a kettle, coffee maker or iron. Even when I requested a kettle, they didn't provide. There are no coffee shops. The only way to drink coffee was to order room service. The hotel seems to be money minded and not service minded. There were signs saying not to fill bottles with the water provided in the breakfast. When we checked out, someone went upstairs to check the room to see if everything is in order. I have not seen any hotel doing this, in the past 30 years.

Friendly, helpful staff. Great spacious room. Good cleaning staff. Gym and pool were great. Opposite a beautiful beach. The food I ate in the lobby bar was excellent particularly the prawn pizza on my last day. I had a late flight so booked the room for an extra night. I checked out at 1830 drove to the airport, got cancelled by LATAM (bastards) and grabbed a cab back to the hotel fully expecting to pay for an additional night. After such a poor and frustrating airport experience imagine how wonderful it was to be given my room back with a late check out the next day for no extra charge. Almost restored my faith in humanity!!

I stayed there for a conference so the location was perfect for me and so close to the beach and lots of great restaurants so it was perfect for my needs. However if you wanted to go sightseeing it was so remote that none of the tours companies did a pick-up/drop-off service. The hotel offered a reduced range of tours that did and the full day tour was excellent but if you wanted to go into the city it was a 60-90 minute trip depending on traffic so not great for general tourism. The breakfast buffet was disappointing in range and quality.

Propertly was in a very good area, the cleaning on bedroom was good, staff were very helpful with us, a couple good restaurants around and the beach just across the street

Everything on the little fridge on the bedroom was very expense and not even a bottle of water was included with the reserve, I least could just offered some snacks and water, and they don’t offer us the choice of the breakfast included, so we have to pay for that everyday

Need to wait a bit to get the lift. Swimming pool a bit small - like the photos. The place where they served breakfast didn’t have any windows, very dark room and the A/C was turned ON every time, so you had to have jumpers while eating your breakfast. I recommend they do a renovation at some point, it would be great to have big windows and more nature views
