The kids’ pool area, with a shallow 0.6m depth and fun water slides, was a big hit, our kids absolutely loved it.

I feel the reception staff could be a bit more welcoming and smile a little more. The female staff member at the desk seemed friendly, but I was assisted by a male staff member who was just okay. A little improvement in attitude could easily elevate the experience to an 8.5.

Firsly the check in was too slow as they were not prepared for eid holiday rush,i booked superior room with pool view half board but they said that unit type was over booked and not availablethough i had a booking confirmation ,and was offered an inferior deluxe room with mountain view and gave full board to compensate which i had to accept as front desk did not offer any other option.Since we were a group of 6 familes i could not stay back alone for lunch so that fullboard offer was not availed any how. Then in pool they did not had enough towels. And in rooms u dont have any facility to dry wet clothes. Also balconies are so small. Dinner was ok, but few breakfast items were not that fresh . Games options for kids are good except the kids pool is so cold kids can get sick,need temperature control.location is good. Staff were very friendly

This hotel is in a lovely location, nearly at the top of Jabal Hafeet. Our check in experience was very good, we were allocated rooms very efficiently...... as it was weekend, most of the other guests were UAE Nationals who were quite demanding of the check in staff to say the least. The room was very spacious, the bed was huge and we had a nice view over the land below. The lobby is lovely , bright and airy the grounds are nice and the pool, although busy on the weekend, was nice and big enough. The snack bar by the food did a good range (pizzas etc.) and was efficient. The leisure club had squash, table tennis, trampolining and a gym and games for kids such as air hockey. Staff were helpful. Outside it also has a 12 hole crazy golf course which was real fun as an after dinner activity. We were half board and I would say the food was good. I've had larger selections at other hotels but for our group there was a good variety and really good quality. A final mention to the concierge. He was so friendly and helpful. Thank you Overall we really enjoyed our stay, particularly the view over the city and desert below.

The reception and housekeeping staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the amount of demands of many of the guests. Maybe a few more staff on duty on weekends may help.

I like the location, the view of the mountains. Enjoyed the stroll on the pool area, very clean. Very quiet and relaxing place, was able to sleep well. The staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Maybe the washroom. The shower curtain was yellowish. I was supposed to do a bathtub bath but when i checked the drain tub stopper it has a lot of hairs so just showered instead. And also maybe the weak toilet flush pressure. But otherwise the other aspects of the room are clean and comfortable, very quiet.

We are 2 adults and 2 children stayed for a couple of days during 3rd week of March. The hotel was at a stunning location and we enjoyed the scenic views of mountains and Al ain city admist of beautiful weather. The stay is very comfortable and a lot of activities to keep the kids engaged. our kids had spent much of their time in the pool, which is well maintained with good pH level . The hotel have good amenities and the food was excellent. Even though they offered a variety of cuisine for breakfast and dinner, it appears that most part of the menu appear repetitive for the next day. A few changes in the menu would be even better. The staff's are polite and offered good hospitality. Overall, it was a memorable trip and a good break from the busy routine. I strongly recommend for families and couples.

The breathtaking views! Serene and away from the toxic environment downtown!. The staff are generally accommodating. Special mention to Ms. Sara the receptionist, thank you for handling a few of my requests. I love the iftar dinner!

I understand the facility is quite old and needs some renovation but I'm a bit disappointed because no one fixes the bidet, I have reported it on my first day of stay, followed up the next day but no one seems to care. Also, I requested the TV to connect to the internet so I can cast my phone in, but no one also made an effort. Anyway, I enjoy staying outside though. Those are just minor nuisance. Overall, I had a great one week of stay!

We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past when it was Mercure. The recent change has been really positive as we felt the quality of the stay, especially the food was considerably improved. There was some work going on to improve the maintanence of the pool area and this does need to be upgraded especially the pool bathroom area and the cafe/pool bar - but overall we had a great family stay and will be back again

more maintanence required on the outside areas. Staff were friendly but service could be quicker. All food comes from the central kitchen which delays service time. No working coffee machine at the pool cafe.

Value for money We booked 4 rooms for a night. This is our third time , first since it became Oryx & they have uped their game since they changed the management.We booked half board and all the food at dinner & breakfast was fresh and the staff was on their toes to service all the guests although it was very busy. Front desk staff is excellent as always. My friend reached before I arrived, and he took all the keys without any fuss , no questions asked what so ever. Will return for sure. Top Job !!! I will be an idiot if I complain at this price.

The view is fantastic especially in the evening. Gautam was very generous to surprise us with valentine set-up for our room, I love the little red teddy bear. All the staff are courteous and smiling all the time. The food is also delicious and big serving. Breakfast has many choices of food to enjoy. In the evening, there was an entertainment. The lady who sang for 2 hours was really good, fun and energetic. All in all it was a very memorable valentine's overnight stay with my husband. It was a last minute decision for us to book so not much expectation but we were blessed beyond our expectations.

Maybe it could have been better if there was a live band.

I stayed at Oryx Grand Hotel Jabal Hafeet with my family and rented two rooms. The staff was wonderful, especially the employee Sarah, who provided excellent service. The location is very beautiful in terms of the view and cleanliness, and the check-in process was smooth. However, I have a few comments: - There is no breakfast included with the booking, and the meal prices are quite high. - The towels and bedding in the room were old. Despite these comments, we enjoyed our stay and look forward to a future trip to the same hotel. Thank you
