Fantastic location. Beach club was brilliant, lovely variety of food at breakfast and dinner - all very fresh. The entertainment was surprisingly good and although we were a good 30 years younger than the average guest age, the crowd would still have some fun in the bar in the evenings and we appreciated the peaceful daytimes! We’ll defo go back.

4 small things would make a big difference to comfort levels in the rooms: 1) would appreciate proper shampoo and conditioner provision in bathrooms (given cost of hotel); 2) a bathrobe should be provided; 3) the towels in the room were very small and not bath towel size; 4) there should be a place to obtain filtered water given no complementary bottles are provided. Other Tenerife hotels do have a reusable bottle/water machine system which I think should be offered here.

The staff were very friendly and attentive. Whether it was at the restaurant, bar or reception they seemed happy to be helping us. The food was what you would expect, and they did their best to bring variety, which considering the buffet style is not easy. We liked that you could order a bottle of wine for dinner and there was a nice range in quality and price.

Overall we were quite happy, though it was a little ridiculous that you had to pay for the safe. That should be included in the room and there should be no 15 euro charge to use it. Just include it, as it is in the room anyway.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. The food was great, something for everyone. There were plenty of sunloungers and 3 pools to choose from. The location is good and connected to a good bus route right in front of the hotel. It's a great place if you want to be away from the mad scene. There was a varied age group and lots of different nationalities, but everyone was catered for. The entertainment was good and ended at 10.30 but the bar remained open. We had a lovely, quiet, relaxing stay. I would definitely return.

The bar service was a bit slow. You had to order from your table. They didn't provide tea or coffee after your evening meal. I had to buy one or go back to my room to make a coffee. You had to pay €36 for a safe, which I thought was ridiculous. Some of the female staff in the restaurant and at reception were a bit abrupt at times.

The location was close to the beach, the pools were really nice, the food was good and a decent amount of vegetarian options. It was clean and well presented.

The bed wasn’t comfortable for me personally but if you like a hard mattress you’re in luck. I didn’t sleep great on the bed but that’s because I like a softer mattress. We were a lil taken aback that you had to pay for water at dinner considering it seemed like it was just tap water and the fact that at breakfast there were at least 7 drinks offered for free, but the drinks weren’t expensive so at least there was that (idk about alcohol as don’t drink)

paid £200+ for pool view - first room allocated could see the pool if hanging over balcony 180*. moved to better room shower leaked then next day awful smelling towels. staff seem short in restaurant ie having to clear own plates etc. (not what we would expect to do in 4* hotel) sun beds not very comfortable. we have visited this hotel many times and it seem standards are slipping

Hotel was lovely and would highly recommend. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast and dinner amazing. Staff were so helpful. Big shout out to Jose Luis in restaurant who always had a smile on his face and Lorena in Reception who was so helpful.Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Two swimming pools - no fighting over beds!

Towels in bathroom were awful. Thin and small. Pool towels were much better! Annoyed we had to pay extra for use of safe in our room. States that men have to wear trousers in dining room for dinner. My husband took a few pairs, but on first night noticed men wearing shorts!

Excellent range and quality of food, both at breakfast and dinner (we were half board) and platters were kept restocked. Staff very friendly and attentive. It really is a good hotel and the positives way outweighed the negatives.

Disappointing that no food is served at the pool bars and that they closed quite early. We had lunch one day only as we were very disappointed with the food. We (three of us) had a Caesar salad and did not enjoy it. As it came towards the end time for breakfast and dinner, it was noticeable that staff were starting to clear away, so for example if breakfast was until 10:30am, I would expect that it should be ok to arrive down at 10:25 and have breakfast but at that time, staff were already starting to clear away food etc. It was a very long walk to our bedrooms, perhaps lifts could be installed to shorten the walk. We missed not having coffee after our dinner.

Second stay and check in process is so slow again even when registering on line before arrival. Check in team are polite but processes very poor.

- No children! - Buffet was great; excellent variety and food was fresh - Plenty of sunbeds around the two good-sized pools - Room and communal areas were very clean - Spa treatments and therapists were fantastic and good value

- Would have been good to have additional toiletries in the room, there was a bar of soap and shower gel but nothing else - By default the standard double rooms have two single beds pushed together, staff were able to accommodate a room change after the first night but if you prefer one king size bed would recommend requesting in advance

Excellent 4 star hotel that has an exceptional team to make sure everyone had a brilliant time. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone. The food was fresh and a great variety was laid out for every meal. The evening entertainment was better than my expectations. My first stay in a Riu hotel and it won’t be my last.

I only had one small disappointment and I’m sure that had I spoken to a member of the team it would have been rectified, the coffee and creamer in the room was never refilled during our 4 night stay.
