Myself and my daughter had a double premium room with spa access. The room 305 was really lovely. Fabulous view of the marina and the surrounding bars. Walking into the room you are met with a corridor of storage/wardrobes with a safe and a fridge in a cupboard underneath. Really good storage. Opposite that is a great massive mirror which is rare to have in so many hotels but this and has it right. You can dress and see what you look like in comfort. The bathroom is set just through a door behind the storage space abd is a very good size with walk in shower, vanity with sink and shelf, so again plenty of room to put your personal items. Carry on past the storage and there is the main bedroom, good size, attractive and with patio door to a large terrace and the views. The size of the room is very good and also fad a sofa and table and a desk and chair. It also has a good size tv although we didn't switch it on. The beds were comfy. The spa is small but nice. I'd make a few changes to procedures there but overall it was pleasant. The very lovely lady who greets you does the massage and that was just great. She has a lovely manner. Really good massage. Relaxing environment. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was lovely. A walk along the marine front which is right in front of the hotel there are bars and restaurants too. There us also an upper level of bars and eateries which are very much worth looking into. We had breakfast at one on the upper level, walking in and them straight through to overlook the marina and the hotel. Great choice and lovely staff.La Época de Maricastaña. Then an easy amble along the paseo towards roquettas de mar. Back to marina for a drink at Pireo Puerto where they do tapas which looked amazing too. When we checked out of the hotel we were given a very friendly farewell, we will have no hesitation to return there.

Reception was very friendly and helpful. The room and views were gorgeous. We loved the SPA.

The evening meal in the restaurant. The waitresses were very helpful and the restaurant itself is fine. However we were really disappointed with the food. I sent my chicken breast back as it wasn't cooked properly. I had the burger which was very mediocre. The meat was gritty. The chips, the hot ones were nice but some were luke warm. This tells me that the food is being reheated. It didn't live up to the rest of the hotel experience.

Lovely location overlooking the marina! Good quality, clean modern rooms! Restaurant looked really smart but didn’t use! Friendly bar staff and nice bar area! Very quiet pool area with plenty sunbeds and great view.

Although rooms were lovely was really disappointed that the standard room had no balcony and overlooked a cliff face and a road! Hotel almost empty! Could have offered us an upgrade which would have encouraged another stay when we would have definitely rebooked a more superior room with marina view! Put a bit of a dampener on our stay as the rest of the hotel was impressive!

Our original room was a 'Standard Double' and was at the back of the hotel. The room was quite large and airy, clean and comfortable, but only had a view of the buildings and rocky cliff behind. The maid broke our bathroom mirror, while cleaning the room, and we got upgraded to a 'Premium Double' room, which was excellent, had a huge double bed, tea and coffee making facilities and a large balcony overlooking the fabulous marina. The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. They have a large rooftop pool, on the second floor, with sun loungers and shade. We had the pool to ourselves when we visited and enjoyed a pleasant swim. The bars and restaurants around the harbour are numerous and the one we tried was very good and the prices reasonable, for such a lovely location.

The 'Standard Double' could have had tea and coffee making facilities, seems a bit mean not to. We ate breakfast at the hotel, which was an extra 17.50 each, which we thought was a bit expensive, particularly as the breakfast choice was a little limited, and the hot food was only barely warm.

All the staff were welcoming, friendly, funny and very efficient. The young lady on reception when we arrived on Sunday was exceptionally bright and efficient and that's a good start to the holiday. All staff are very professional.We loved the large room with terrace overlooking the marina, it was quiet, good air con and fan, lots of plug sockets, large shower, three large mirrors and magnifying makeup mirror and hairdryer in bathroom. Loved the colour scheme, lounges and pool. We were asked on checking out if all was ok which is good.Easy parking in front of hotel and we had treats as they knew it was husbands birthday, that was lovely of the staff .

Rails in wardrobe not high enough for long dresses but not everyone has them so that's minor, also lack of bidet but that's minor quibble too. Not enough staff on in the restaurant/bar area, the waiters worked hard but service was slow at times for breakfast not their fault, they were understaffed and that's a management issue.

Lovely hotel very modern and staff very helpful and friendly. The Spa was exceptionally clean and modern , I went with friends for my birthday and we all had an extremely good time I had the Marine Breeze treatment it was very relaxing and Aurora was very good at looking after me. Breakfast was varied you could have cooked food or a variety of fruits breads cakes. There was a frig and kettle with teas and coffee.Instructions for the parking area made it easy to park right outside the hotel. I will definitely go again.

Lovely little resort - a hidden gem very close to Almeria. Hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Awesome views of the marina, and very close to beach, restaurants and bars. Recommend the Spanish breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Parking right outside the hotel.

Lovely location - I had a balcony overlooking the harbour. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant spa facilities. Breakfast sounded nice but I didn’t actually have it. Nice cold lemon water always available in the foyer!

The quality of the food I had for dinner one night in the restaurant could have been better ( chicken and chips!) I would have loved for the summing pool to be open but it was February so I do understand why it wasn’t!

Lovely location. Very nice room with lovely terrace. Excellent breakfast and good food in general. Very nice spa. Plenty of parking (paid)

No coffee machine in room. Just kettle and sachets of instant coffee. This was not in line with the rest of the facilities. Reception staff were low down behind the desk. This gave the impression that they didn't really want to interact with customers. They should be more visible and say 'hello', good morning etc. They are the first impression that guests get and this lets down an otherwise very good hotel.

I have been coming to Aquadulce for around 15 years and have seen many changes over that time. The newly renovated Moom hotel is a great addition to the area. The hotel is perfectly situated in the marina and offers great value for money with fantastic friendly staff and reasonably priced food and drink. The hotel is very clean. The surrounding area has lots of lovely bars and restaurants, with more staff now starting to speak English. It's definitely a lovely part of Spain and worth a visit to stay at The Moon Hotel. I am already planning my next trip in March/April.

Sun loungers at the pool are not that comfortable.
