It was very close to the beach, close to all the shops, we've had nice room with stunning view for the seaside. It was amazing that every day we had some different country cuisine for dinner - it was very interesting. Pool area was nice but because of the weather we couldnt realy stay outside - offering to use next hotel swimming pool was very thoughtful. We have been greeted very nicely by the staff, and our room was spotless every day! Hotel overall is a little bit outdated - but it was great anyway.

Food in the restaurant was sometimes a bit bland but overall nice.

The restaurant was understaffed, which is quite strange considering the high unemployment rate in Spain. A lot of the signage in the hotel was in Russian and conversely there was a lack of support for Ukraine (at least a flag at the reception and entrance would have been appropriate). Unfortunately, these political gestures must also be taken into account, given that Russia has invaded a European country and its political leaders are threatening the whole of Europe, including the guests of the Blaumar Hotel.

The hotel is well located, just 100 yards or so from the beach, but also near the resort centre. Its an ideal destination for families or couples. The hotel is very clean, and if there’s a problem it’s quickly sorted. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Esther on reception. She is highly efficient and nothing is too much trouble for her. She is an asset to the hotel. The food was amazing, and incredibly wide choice of freshly cooked dishes, plus plenty of salad, fruit and vegetables, not forgetting a wide selection of desserts. The Blaumar is worth a visit for the food alone. Maria and Roberto made us welcome in the restaurant every time we visited. We also liked that we could share the facilities of the sister hotel, the Blaucel, on the opposite side of the road.

The room was on the small side, as is the reception area, which can get quite crowded.

The food was superb. We were half board. Fabulous selection at all mealtimes. Packed lunch available if needed. Some meats/ pastas cooked as you watched. Balconies in both adjacent apartments with view of the sea and sunrise...couldn't ask for better. Beach a few hundred meters. Lots of restaurants within easy reach but we had no need to try them!

Upon arrival, we were offered a half-board at the same price which was pleasant. It is a typical large hotel having similar handicaps and benefits as other large hotels. Both breakfast and dinner were quite generous. The location was quite good as it took 2-3 minutes to reach the beach.

As usually at such large hotels, it was noisy and crowded. The room was too small for a 4-star hotel. Though the hotel is very close to the beach, it is quite far from the city centre. Actually it is located at the very end of Blanes among numerous campings

Loved the friendly staff.stayed in a lovely corner room with wraparound balcony. Great size pool which didn’t feel busy until about 4 pm. Great food choices. Definitely would recommend . 2 minutes walk to the beach and approximately 20 minutes to centre.

Lovely hotel. Rooms were clean. Staff were very friendly and the food was outstanding for a buffet there was a theme every night Spanish, Italian, Mexican etc and the selection was amazing so delicious too really impressed! Location could not have been closer to the beach and the air con was brilliant. Will definitely be back

The staff was truly amazing. We weren't happy with our first room so they changed it for us in a minute and we got the apartment at the roof. The view directly at the sea was beautiful and so we didn't really mind older furniture and appliances. The food was delicious too. The hotel surrounding is also great - few seconds to pleasant beach, to delicious restaurants and to the small shops and groceries. I would definitely come back!

The breakfast was generally very good, staff were excellent and a good selection of food available.
