A stunning Pazo which is authentic and classy with beautiful furniture and decorative pieces. Onsite parking was a plus and the grounds are lovely. Very friendly and helpful people. They provided us with many recommendation. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom and bedroom were large and spacious. The breakfast hall is grand as are the communal lounge areas. The cafeteria/shop next door is perfect for immersing in local Galician atmosphere, it also does take away coffee which was very convenient as the hotel did not have coffee making facilities (although fresh coffee was provided at breakfast). There are no restaurants nearby so you do need to travel to them. The closest town is under 10 minutes away and has many restaurants, shops and bars. The hotel is easy to find and we were provided with a location pin drop which took us straight there. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect location to explore the Ourense region of Galicia.

Coffee and tea making facilities in the room would be great.

The staff were all lovely & went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. The hotel & gardens were like a hidden gem & we loved being able to come back after a busy day & relax by the fabulous pool. Our son loved swimming with Hugo.

The only thing that was not so good was the bed for me because I struggle with my back & need a soft mattress. My son & wife however didn’t have any problems with the beds.

Lovely place, historical and perfect for disconnecting. Receptionist was friendly and took care of each guest.

Since the building is historical, the noise insulation is not the best and the wooden stairs make some noise too.

The hotel is beautiful. The common areas are incredible with original pieces that made us feel like we were in Downton Abbey.

Since it's a bit isolated, it's better to have a car to reach or leave the hotel.

Breakfast was large enough, though the coffee was not very good. We appreciated having a daily choice of fruits and yogurts at breakfast. A nice feature are the salons on the first floor of the main building, where one can withdraw and relax to read or to play a game (or as we did experiment with Polarsteps)

The coffee could have been better. Sound proofing of the rooms in the annex leaves something to be desired. My wife had a hard time to connect to the wifi, in spite of using the exact same settings as I did.

A site with a vast history, and location that allows you to feel Galicia at its core. The staff are wonderful and can give you directions to the cream of the area, the facilities are super.
