Lovely property in a great location just south of the Somport Tunnel from Spain to France. Really convenient to break our long journey. Our room was really comfortable, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the menu for dinner looked amazing, and there was an option for breakfast too but we had to make an early start. We also didn’t have time to enjoy the pool, gym or spa facilities.

The air conditioning was switched off centrally at midnight which meant our room was rather stuffy by the morning, but we had been warned about this at check-in.

Characterful and clean property in a lovely location. Friendly staff and great food for dinner and breakfast, and cosy bar for a glass of wine after dinner

The rooms were very hot as they do not turn on the air conditioning until next week(June 5th) and it was 25C when we arrived. We were advised to open all our windows to allow the air in overnight. Curtains limited this impact but also let the light in early morning, so not ideal but didn’t spill a very positive stay.

When I booked this I did not realise that the pass into France was closed just beyond. They gave us the option to cancel, but we decided to stay there anyway and backtrack the next day to the Col du Pourtalet pass, which was spectacular. We did not make use of the Spa and the pool was closed for the season. The evening meal was good and the breakfast had a very comprehensive selection. The Room and hotel was all very clean and modern.

The bar is lacking in comfort, not a cosy place, more like a canteen. The one meal we had in restaurant was very disappointing, didn't return.

Parking was a little hit or miss, probably worse during high season.

Very nice hotel, just next to the train station and the old tunnel entrance, and to the city(village) center, with all needed commodities. The hotel is very well organised and provided with all services, restaurant and bar are very nice, restaurant do excellent meat, game room with pool/snooker and soccer table, lovely terrace with view on the surrounding mountains. It was just a 1 night stay on our way to France, but I'd love to come back and stay more, there is a lot of trekking to do in that area.

Upgraded our room because they were not full. Recently refurbished room with plenty of space. Very good food and service in the dining room. Three course evening menu as well as other options. Menu and all other notices in Spanish, French and English. Excellent service and very friendly and helpful staff. Good help yourself breakfast.

Little shelf space In the bathroom, hard to find places for toiletries etc. WC jammed right up beside vanity unit, unnecessarily so as plenty of room to position it away. No shower gel.

Room and bathroom very clean but a problem with shower drain not working. We were allocated another room very quickly.

Advertised with a swimming pool which was in fact empty at the time of our stay in June, hotel should notify guests beforehand if the pool is closed. Dinner menu was very limited

Beautiful setting, lovely clean hotel, easy to locate. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the receptionist and the waiter. The food in the restaurant was delicious, and at a good price. Definitely would stay there again.

The weather, as it was tipping it down. So spent a lovely evening in the hotel.

Clean, spacious room with comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Two excellent menus available in the restaurant: well prepared dishes at very reasonable prices including wine. Also a good bar.

Disappointing to sit on the bar terrace with a view of the "green" swimming pool. I know it's not "summer" season in Spain yet, but as our pool remains filtered all year on free solar energy, I know it would not be difficult or expensive to keep the pool looking clean.
