The breakfast was superb although we had thought it was included and it wasn’t (probably our mistake). The restaurant was very good and the bar snacks/drinks were also good. The spa was lovely and always very quiet.

Our room, whilst a lovely room, was in a corner with no real view. We wondered whether the rooms booked via Booking.com are not the best rooms and whether we may have got a better located room if we had booked direct? This didn’t detract from our stay but would be a consideration for the future.

The building itself was very beautiful, the views were stunning. The room was outstanding, spacious and airy. The spa was execellent. The menu for lunch and evening food was varied and was well cooked and delicious.The local village is very quaint and beautiful. The local beaches are lovely for both couples and families.

The breakfast was awful. I cannot have watermelon as I am intollerant to it nor melon. I have to take antihistimines even if they are on the table. Each day, despite us telling them this on arrival and also each morning, there was watermelon in my fruit dish. When we politely reminded them they just removed the watermelon and brought back the dish. after three days we just said we no longer wanted to take breakfast. they did apologise but still... Fruit was the same three fruits each day. There was a menu from which you could choose cooked items but there was no breads, cheese, fruit, cereals, nuts selection (or pastry selection) that I would have expect for the price of 35 euros per person per day. Location is very beautiful but you need a car to get anywhere.

Totally gorgeous property for some rejuvenation, leisurely walks, and peace. The spa area was lovely and service felt like a 5 star hotel. Staff was more than accommodating and the rooms were very recently remodeled with good taste. We were all sad to leave, I’d come back in a second. Great value for the money.

My only negative feedback was the food in their casual bar restaurant was not great. We had several things we really didn’t care for, and because of the remote location, you end up eating at least one meal a day on the property.

We spent two nights here during our holiday to Northern Spain. We were blown away by the hotel - every little thing had been considered, and the hotel was stunning. The room was well equipped with things I didn’t even know I needed (like a sewing kit, an exfoliating mitt etc). And the staff really made the trip, everyone was attentive but didn’t make you feel watched over. Definitely make time to visit the spa and sauna if you visit too. We ate in the hotel both nights and the food was excellent, as was the wine list. We also booked with breakfast included, which I would thoroughly recommend. It’s not cheap, but the selection is impeccable - we felt like royalty!

The hotel is just outstanding, from the location, infrastructure, facilities and the staff - all worthy of 5 stars. We have been traveling in Spain and France for almost two weeks and this hotel is on top of the list of our favorite hotels.

I do have one constructive criticism. I do believe that the 29 Euro breakfast is limiting in that, for those guest who prefer a continental style breakfast, they have to pay the same 29 Euro irrespective if they only want a coffee and some fruit. The hotel should provide other breakfast options.

Super destination, clearly a superior hotel. Architecturally beautiful buildings. Beautiful views. Comfortable beds. Spacious stylish bedroom. Lovely toiletries, robes and coffee machine.

The restaurant was underwhelming. We had expected the restaurant to be top quality . However their food was not up to the same standard as the rest of the visit, and, despite pointing out that my fish was cold and undercooked, they did not refund the dish. There was no Ceylon / English breakfast tea available for the rooms without paying an additional charge.

Great place. As expected, excellent facilities, staff and food. Spa treatments available. If I'd had the time,I would've used them. Extremely comfortable bed, robes for slender people. Slippers and All the trimmings expected from a 5 star hotel. You can choose to relax in the hotel or go for walks around the town to the Faro. 60min return trip.

Having to leave! Robes should be available in a larger size range.

The room was spacious, modern and very comfy. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful. We loved the breakfast! We had dinner in the restaurant and the bistro and the food and services were impeccable. We used the spa and we really liked both the sauna and the steam-bath. The surrounding towns and coast-line are worth visiting.

Beautifully renovated and enlarged sympathetically in a modern and traditionally, luxurious style. Very comfortable room and huge bed. Lots of space and we were lucky to have a view of the mountains, sea glimpse and a balcony. no. 29 on the first floor. Breakfast very good, spa lovely and never busy.

Stunningly designed up market hotel which is both incredibly relaxing and unpretentious. Excellent food served in an amazing restaurant that is bound to stay in your memory. The staff are on point, very gracious and helpful . You will not regret staying here
