Small but clean room. Nice bathroom. Loved the bidet. Comfortable bed. The location was amazing. Within a 10-20 min walk to most places of interests. Lot's of restaurants nearby. The 2 ladies who were at the reception when I stayed at Maestre were very sweet and helpful. They were helpful with directions and local recommendations, booked me a taxi, gave me a little kettle to use in the room and a big bottle of water. I loved the lounge and the beautiful inner courtyard. Great value for the money for sure!

Not having a luggage stand. There was room for one. Not having a piece of hand soap on the 2nd day. The noise from other residents knocking on doors loudly, slamming doors shut loudly, moving furniture in the room above mine... making screeching noises, talking loudly in the hallway etc. Etc. Etc. All the noise made it impossible to rest in this oasis of a hotel.c

Fantastic location in the heart of Cordoba. Really welcoming reception and easy to check in experience as i was able to check in early which allowed me to spend more time exploring the town. The bed was comfortable (maybe provide a few more cushions for the metal bed!) This is a good hotel and I would recommend this to anyone that comes to visit Cordoba. Thank you!

My only criticism of this hotel was the size, it was a little bit on the small size unfortunatly. However I did know that when i booked and so it didnt impact my stay that much. I would have prefered if there was a kettle to make drinks in the morning or a communial area to do this (unless i didnt see it). Not a negative but my room opened into the courtyard which did mean at night when guests chose to use this area it did impact that of other guests trying to sleep. Thats not really the hotels fault though.

Beautiful, well kept hotel, a lovely surprise! Staff were very helpful & especially friendly. It was notable that someone was available in reception all day & night too, thank you. Underground parking is available at a reasonable price, a real bonus. Excellent location for all the major attractions, on an excellent bus route and the Red & Blue City Attraction buses right outside the door. A wonderful stay in a must-see location. A real joy to visit, thank you

I had room 307 and it was perfect for my needs. Excellent location in Old Town with Andalusian decor, close to Mezquita and a City Sightseeing bus stop and Hammam Al Andalus. Everything worked. Tub and shower in bathroom. Staff at reception was friendly, helpful and personable. I frequented the two closest cafes and used the Carrefour Express market just down the street, closest to the river. So quiet! I also really liked the price/value. I would stay here again.

No fridge to keep drinks cold as it was very hot outdoors, but I knew that when I booked the room.

The hotel is located at the city centre, La Judería. On foot, it takes 5-7minutes to access La Mezquita, the main cathedral. The staff is very kind and helpful. Definitely value for money. The room was clean, with all facilities and if you ask for it the lady cleans it every day.

The only think I could mention is the fact that there is no soundproofing and consequently the noise from next rooms is disbursing.

The location is perfect, walking distance to the main sights and restaurants. Room was clean.

There is a parking garage but to my surprise it cost $13 to park my car for the 24 hours I was there. When booking, I thought parking was included in the price of the room. The access to the parking garage was quite difficult because very tight and same for the parking spot. It required quite a bit of maneuvering and frustration. Another thing was that I needed to use a kettle and I could borrow one, but only for the time I was using it. Then I had to return it at the front desk and ask again every time I wanted to use it. That had to happen 3 times. I would have appreciated being able to keep it in my room for the 24 hours I was there.

I liked the location near the Old City and the monuments; the local restaurants; and the friendliness and helpfulness of the desk staff, especially to women travelling alone. Also, when I arrived at the train station, the taxi driver knew the location of this Hotel. That was a good sign. I also liked a nearby cafe that is frequented by locals. I preferred it over the tourist restaurants.

On one occasion, I was given wrong directions in English by a non-native speaker. I was told to go "left," but they meant to say to "my left" (which is my right, when facing them). This happened to me two more times during my travels in Andalusia Spain. (I can't help paying attention to this because I teach English as a foreign language.)

N̈o food, location excellent and so easy to find from station on no 3 bus. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room so much better than I expected for the price. Spotless with a pretty patio and 2 minutes walk from the Guadalquivire river. I will recommend to friends.

The bed was softer than I prefer but I know that suits others.

Hotel Maestre is located very close to the Mezquita. It is perfect for exploring the historic part of Cordoba. It has a beautiful patio. I thank very much the lady at the reception desk, for helping us with information about local transport.

A small thing - it would be great if there was an electric kettle in the room. We had it in some other hotels in Spain, and it makes life easier if we can make tea or coffee in the morning after waking up.

Can’t recommend this place enough! The decor was traditional. I really liked the style of the inner garden and common spaces. The room was essential but had everything one needed for a comfortable stay. As a solo traveller, it’s difficult to combine having one’s own space and budget, and this was the perfect place! Excellent value for money. The personnel was friendly and helpful.
