This is the second time we have stayed at Senator Gandia and we will be back again next year! Great location, short few minutes to the beach and there is so much going on in Gandia, it is a perfect holiday for the family especially little ones... there are dance classes, circuses, a little shuttle ride and a fair to keep them entertained. The staff are lovely and helpful, speak English. The breakfast is honestly great we included breakfast this time rather than breakfast and dinner as there are a lot of great restaurants near the hotel which we never got to try last time.

The rooms are really nice we had a better room last year which I will aim to book again in the future as it was more spacious for my two little ones we were a bit cramped this time. I love the balcony!

We spent a wonderful two weeks at the Senator Hotel. The hotel is new, modern, clean and cozy, very close to the sea. The reception staff is very friendly, everything was resolved very quickly and carefully. Delicious breakfasts, enough of everything, products are always fresh, delicious coffee. I would like to mention the cook, Signora Belkis, who not only fed us deliciously, but was always very friendly and with a smile, even if she had a lot of work. Absolutely recommend this lovely hotel and of course we will be back. Thanks to all the staff, you are great!🤗🌺

Everything was nice

Great, elegant hotel with a modern decor. My room was spacious, well equipped with a mini-fridge, a coffee/tea maker, large screen TV (I could change audio to English) and a partial sea view, very clean, bright and pleasant. Staff was very friendly and helpful, allowed me to change the room when I complained about noisy neighbors who were smoking on the balcony. Spa was great, so was the location close to the beach. I would definitely recommend it and come back.

The only reason for not giving the hotel 10 points was poor soundproofing, I could hear people slamming the doors and talking next door.

I recently stayed at this seaside hotel and found it to be a delightful experience, especially for couples looking for a comfortable, well-located base. The hotel is just a short walk from the sea, which gives it a truly relaxing coastal vibe. Our room offered a partial sea view from the balcony — a lovely touch that added to the overall experience. While the room itself was on the smaller side, it was thoughtfully designed and perfectly suited for two people. Everything we needed was at hand, and the layout made excellent use of the available space. One of the more unique aspects of the room was the shower, which is integrated into the main space and separated by a glass partition. It's a modern and bold design choice — perhaps not for everyone, but it worked well for us. Breakfast was a highlight each morning, offering a generous and delicious selection that set a great tone for the day. Another advantage of staying here in the off-season is the ease of parking; we had no trouble finding a spot close to the hotel. In the evenings, the hotel bar became one of our favorite spots — the cocktails were genuinely excellent, crafted with care and creativity. All in all, this hotel strikes a great balance between comfort, style, and location. I’d happily recommend it to fellow travelers, especially couples looking for a cozy escape by the sea.

If I had to point out one downside, it would be the housekeeping routine. Despite leaving the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, housekeeping staff still knocked around 10:00 each morning, which disrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

In the last 5 years, we have been sleeping in more than 50 different hotels/motels/apartments, but this hotel and everything inside and outside of it is definately one of top 3 places that we stayed in. There is nothing, absolutely nothing bad to say about this place, from the reception staff to the cleaning staff, unbeliveable proffesional and top service! Rooms so nice, clean and comfortable. Sunny pool and beach beds on the pool free for all hotel guests to use. Everywhere free and safe parking places to find around (we found one directly in front of the hotel). Beach is 3 min to walk .On the beach side there are many restaurants, shops and all kinds of things to visit. We walked the completely beach thgrough, more than 3 km long, so clean and nice on every step. We were so happy there and we are only sorry that we have not booked longer stay there, because if you go there, we suggest that you to take 6-9 nights so you have time to visit enough and to relax aswell at the time, it is worth every second!

Fantastic walk in shower - the best we've ever had. Hot and powerful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The shower cubicle and sink being in the bedroom. Very strange not to have the usual privacy. Would not take much to enclose it. Toilet cubicle very small and we had a hole in ceiling that had obviously been there for some time. We reported this to reception on departure. Need to put information in the room about the telephone number for reception.

Great place, close to the beach, amazing views from our balcony on the 10th floor. We had some issues, but we got a free spa entry to compensate. Very friendly crew. Good breakfast with nice variety.

Sadly the windows/walls on the 10th floor are done badly or/and with cheap materials and during an hour of heavy rain one day, our ceiling/windows were leaking heavily on the floor. We stayed in two rooms and both had the same problems... Pool could be heated, it was too cold to enter it.

The hotel felt very luxurious and was excellent value for money. The spa was really great (albeit a bit expensive). The food was brilliant and we ate at the hotel 3 times. Staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

The room was quite hot and when we opened the balcony doors we could smell smoke from other apartments. It was noisy the first night with a crying child upstairs.

The location of the hotel was perfect. The hotel itself was lovely, staff were so friendly & it was really clean. The breakfast was amazing. I'd highly recommend it. The hotel was busy but very quiet at night.

The hairdryer wasn't the best & the soap dispensers weren't great (ours didn't really work), but minor negatives really

In low season lots of parking around the hotel. Comfortable in general, we ended up extending our stay.

Bathrooms are in the bedroom. I know it's trendy, but to me it will always be New York style cheap rental with bathroom in the kitchen. I cannot understand it and never will. Also the sink is in the bedroom. No sink in the toilet. in 2024 TV without netflix or youtube is mostly useless. Chromecast was not working since it's not connected in the same network as guest wifi.
