What a beautiful hotel and what lovely staff. We stayed overnight on the long drive from Santander to Marbella and would highly recommend the Infanta Cristina to anyone making that journey (or any other journey). We will definitely use this hotel again. Tip, while you're there, take a taxi from the hotel to the stunning Cathedral (6 euro) then have a walk back to the hotel. All downhill and lots of friendly bars and restaurants.

Beautifully decorated building, extremely friendly and efficient staff everywhere, cleaners deserve credit as room well cleaned and tidied. Lovely room with small balcony, bidet and low large bath. Good lighting and plenty of mirrors. Breakfast was generally good with excellent service and some hot food available. Cafeteria and bar good, had some nice food. Two glass lifts which went to car park. Reception staff phoned for taxis and gave information. Hotel easy to find .

No food at all at siesta time, kitchen opened at 8pm. Car park , the usual very tight underground carpark. The round atrium seemed to make the place quite noisy at night, people watching the TV , banging doors etc, it's all very open and so a bit noisy together with the traffic from the busy road. There is nothing in the area, get taxis to town for about €5 each way and use the tour bus for €5 each to get round the steep hilly city. Useless hairdryer in bathroom. Hard pillows

The hotel is very chique, old style grandeur. The rooms are huge and everything is of the best quality, made with beautiful materials marble, wood...and brand new. I felt a bit out of place, it was like going back in time, to Franco-period. The staff was very friendly. We had breakfast at the bar, it was nice and reasonably priced.

The hotel is far from the center of town, situated at a 30 minute walk along very busy 4-lanes. Also the rooms are not fully noise-proof, you hear the noise of the cars (vaguely). On the other hand, a taxi to town costs only €5.5 .

Great hotel, with lots of character. Super friendly staff with 1 exception, the lady who checked us out when we left, she was rude and didnt care. Pedro the barman was excellent, didnt speak English and we dont speak Spanish, but he tried very hard to please. Good parking area and an electric car charger too.

A stylish hotel with a magnificent lobby/reception. We used on street parking adjacent to the hotel which was very convenient for loading/off loading our motorcycle. Our room was tastefully decorated, the bed large and comfortable, extremely clean, a handy fridge which is always very welcome with two small bottles of water included. The bathroom was quite large, had a corner bath and shower, the towels were of good quality. Our room had a view of the hotel pool. The room was carpeted. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, cooked options were offered from the kitchen as well as a generous buffet choices. About a mile walk into town {mostly uphill] but there are conveniently located bus stops close to the hotel.

Room was good size decor dated but in keeping with the hotel theme all very clean and well kept. Good location for bus €1 or taxi €5 into centre although walkable in around 15 minutes up a long busy gradient for active people.

Parking was shared with adjacent apartment blocks and two steep ramps down with gate access controls that were not reachable from the car. Cafe/Bar menu offered drinks that they were not able to provide when requested and had been out of stock for a long time.

Everything! Step into the foyer and be impressed ... with the glass fronted lifts, with the ornate cupola illuminating the interior, with the comfortable and elegant seating areas, with the discreet, professional, yet friendly and obliging service from every member of staff. Our room was not a disappointment either, well appointed, comfortable and clean. There was secure parking available, but a very kind lady vacated her parking space at the side of the hotel and we parked there on the street for free.

It is a good 20 minute walk to the cathedral and the central areas of Jaén. However, as in many Spanish cities, much has been done to ensure the safety of pedestrians in negotiating the busy roads

This is an amazingly beautiful old-style hotel with a beautiful stained glass roof. You can also enjoy the swimming pool. Very convenient location, almost everything is within walking distance. The staff is very friendly. The room is cozy, with all the necessary things and equipment. The breakfast is hearty and delicious. I especially like the atmosphere, the spirit of Spain of the last centuries hovers around. Definitely fit for an Infanta ))).

I really like how kind they are and about the hotel, an old-fashioned structure like artistic 🫠

Plug problems connecting electronics such as laptop and cell phone or having universal plugs.

We had a suite and its was amazing, some would think old fashioned but for us it was regal, very cosy and comfortable. Great roof terrace. It was immaculate, not scruffy and spotlessly clean.

Maybe a bit more cooked options for breakfast, but wasn't a big problem, still loads to choose from.
