The Breakfast buffet and the times to make use of it were both excellent. The free Car park underneath the hotel is very convenient. The separate 'living room' beside the bedroom was very convenient, most especially due to physical weakness of one of us. The bed was very comfortable, as is the bathroom with all its amenities. The location is especially good for people that have a (rental) car, but bus and train are also available within acceptable distance.

There was some noise of furniture shifting over the granite floors. That could simply be prevented with some felt patches under the feet of all chairs.

I think this policy is intolerable and hurts the guests and the hotel. I will not come again. It should be noted that I found a hotel of the same level and in the same location for 80 per night. The hotel lost me and the impression left is of taking advantage of good customers.

This is not the first time we come to Exe Grand Hotel Almenar. We come at this hotel when we want to be located on the west of Madrid. We usually take a twin Beds bedroom and with it we have a living room in addition to the bedroom. This makes the hotel very comfortable for 2 persons. We like also the bath room with a bathtub. The free parking is also very convenient. This time I appreciated the addition of a kettle for the early morning coffee.

There is a constant: the wifi. Even though it is working very well in the lobby and ground floor, WiFi doesn’t reach the rooms. We stayed several times in different rooms of the hotel and WiFi is always poor in the bed rooms. Also I think the breakfast is pricy and not the best quality. There are several better and cheaper options in Las Matas (15 min walk) and hat we would recommend.

Mini suite was very large and comfortable. Beds great. Sadly it was not ideal for me as a disabled user as no walk in shower and the bath was very deep with fixed glass shower so did not make it idea to access without my carer. Free underground parking was ideal and secure.

Next time l will go for ordinary twin room with walk in shower as it was not suitable having such a deep bath. Also take note that we arrived about 2 pm and no food was available in hotel. Told did not start until 8pm. We ordered in food delivery and collected at reception. Finding the access to hotel by road was not easy so perhaps a bit more additional information on booking sheet would really help - as in which street to access car park from??

The size of the room was amazing big! We were 3, 2 in one bedroom and 1 in the living room. On the living room there were a desk perfect for work if needed. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The park for car is free, and the spaces quite big.

I have nothing I can say I did not liked. Nevertheless, although the had the usual messages to save water and the plant not changing towels everyday, they changed the towels every day, even when we did not let them on the floor.

Rooms very clean and spacious

The lacking of a cafeteria service to sell hot sandwiches , croissants tortilla de patata or at least coffee outside breakfast hours . Breakfast finishes at 10 and then reopen until dinner. You have to request a waiter for a coffee and they are so busy to make it. They have a vending machine with some salad and cold sandwiches but you pay with credit card and they charge it with weird money system , always ask them before. Being 4 stars hotel should at least put some kettle to boil water in the room . There is not shop close by to go s get something to eat if you are during the day. You have to walk about 15 min to the station and get something somewhere there.

We have stayed at the Hotel on four occasions and like it very much. The suites are spacious and good value for money. It’s well situated for the motorways which is important for us as we are normally travelling onwards to the Northern areas. Last year to Galicia and this year to Northern Portugal. The underground parking is great and very secure. The breakfast is varied and plentiful. Staff are efficient and friendly.

It’s a shame the restaurant is not always open for Dinner. We are there one one occasion and the food was excellent. The breakfast is very good but sadly the food is barely warm. Would benefit from some warming devises like a Bain Marie.

The junior suite was great, a lot space, the facilities, location, everything. The guy at the reception was awesome, very nice and helpful, his name was Miguel. We asked him a lot questions and he did sorted it out all of them always with a great attitude and even giving some nice tips.

Rooms are not rooms but apartments (so very large). Also breakfast was quite rich and good. Staff was helpful.

The hotel is far from the center and very close to the highway, with heavy traffic for most of the day; so if the room is not on the other side of the road you can hear the noise.

Breakfast was very satisfying and good. Spacious and comfortable room. A lot of closets!! Nice hotel staff who works hard. We got upgraded to Junior suit with no extra charge because the hotell was fully booked.

The breakfast area could have been I bit more cozy and not so strong lights, but you got used to it and the breakfast was so good so we didn’t mind in the end. We ordered from the menu when arrived late one night, but the burgers we got were almost raw.
