It was very close to the beach, just a little uphill climb when you’re coming back up to the hotel. Loved the two pools, very spacious and always sunchairs available. Shower is fabulous, the rain shower is gorgeous. We got breakfast one of the mornings, good selection! Staff were friendly! Lovely little jellies on arrival with water given as we arrived late!

Only thing that I would out is that the walls and doors are very thin so you can hear the corridors and people talking. Did have some kids playing knock a dolly at 1am but staff stopped it through no fault of their own or the hotel and again only kids at the end of the day 😂

Had an amazing time in Alegria Sun Village. The food was tasty and there were so many different food options. The staff was wonderful - Yaiza, Sani, Mario, Hisham, Carlos and Marta from reception and also staff from restaurant and bar. There was even a DJ playing between 9-11 pm and people were dancing. The room was great and very clean with a sea view. I enjoyed chilling by the pool and in the chilling area. Location was also good, the beach was very close to the hotel. Overall expectional experience for a young solo traveler.

There wasn't really anything I didn't like.

The hotel is clean, and the location is great, it's really close to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. Both pool areas are nice, although the pool water was a little cool. The breakfast was also good with a lot of variety. However, if you're vegan, you will probably have limited options. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help. Overall, we'd be happy to come back despite some issues.

Poor sound insulation. We could hear the kids playing and screaming in the pool area and the conversations of our neighbors even with the closed balcony. Unfortunately, we had very loud neighbors who stayed up late with loud music, so if you're looking for a quiet place, you better bring earplugs. It was a little upsetting that we didn't have any tea or coffee in the room. There was also no place to refill your water bottle, which we expected since the hotel claims to have 4 stars. It was very chilly at night in the room, and there was no warm blanket, only an old rug, which was not very comfortable.

Was here for 11 days with my girlfriend. The staff is very friendly, the front desk staff more than helpful with all questions I had. The room we got had a city and a sea view, had two balconies which I think is only one such room per floor. Great food verity , for breakfast more or less the same everyday but you can only get so creative for breakfast. Dinner had great options to choose from (chicken, fish, pork, venison as well as vegetarian options...), side dishes as well as deserts and fruits. The room was clean and cleaned daily.

Everything is good. The buffet was nice (although I didn't find where to book all inclusive); there's a nice view from a room; the place is clean and no noise after 11pm

Way too many kids and noise from them. I didn't notice any information that kids were allowed. Also, unfortunately, I found out too late that I could take my pet with Me. Information said "pets are not allowed", but somewhere deep down in the description they said that actually yes, I could take a pet.

The location is great! In a seemingly more quiet part of town and only a few minutes from the beach. The hotel was pretty quiet (guessing as it’s not peak season) so there was always space by the pools and there was a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

I had asked about late check out in advance and been told that was okay and to pay at the hotel. But once there we were told there was no availability for late check out. Not the end of the world but wish it had been communicated in advance that it wasn’t guaranteed.

Beautiful room, great housekeeping.

We paid room with breakfast and dinner included. During the dinner there was no water and you must buy 3 eur. I think that if you have dinner included it's not professional to charge water.

It was clean and modern which was a great change from the hotel we had stayed in in the area previously! The hotel itself and outside area were nicely decorated and inviting

The outside area could have done with a revamp, the decking was unstable and we tripped a few times. The lighting in the foyer and downstairs entertainment area was so harsh and not very inviting. The white light in the communal areas made it unappealing to relax there

I liked everything except paying for the water and any drink during dinner. View from the room balconies were superb, room size was good. Cleaned properly everyday. Breakfast and dinner have a lot of assortment. Hotel is very nice and aestethic, has two pools. Beach and city center are very close. Also, would be good to have an electric kettle in the room. Was easy to reach out there from Barcelona airport. Bust stop was very close to the hotel (2 min walk). We will be back again.

Price and various food

They did not asked when we arrive at the hotel. We missed the first dinner, because we were late. They said no sorry and they did not take any efforts to make us better. There were no tea pot and kettle in the room. The terrace with the sun baldachin beds were closed. A little bit far from the beach. The air condition was too cold in the restaurant every time. The bed was not comfy.
