I loved the location, the room was very comfortable with spectacular views. The beach is breathtaking. The staff was always helpful, gracious and accommodating.

There is a big renovation happening in the pool area. We didn’t have any access to that since basically is a construction site. The construction was from Monday to Saturday, starting at 8:00 am. We couldn’t be in our balcony without hearing drilling, cement sawing, a full display construction site. 🏗️ Thanks to this construction the access to the beach was a little inconvenient. Either you’d have to take a van down to the beach or walk through an annoying and steep dirt road. The fact that we didn’t have access to the pool is fine, but I wish they should have informed us prior to our stay that this was happening, and they should make a discount on the night rate reflecting the inconvenience.

The view, the staff are absolutely perfect. It’s a great place but a bit expensive to be honest for everything that it offers.

A lot of stairs to get to the beach. Very bad sound isolation in the hotel, u can hear everything at night from walking to people using the bathroom. It’s absolutely ridiculous. This was one of the main thing i disliked. It was bad at night especially.

The hotel is exceptional - so clean and well looked after. The staff couldn’t do enough to help - from the concierge to the bar and waiting staff - nothing was too much trouble. The room was refreshed and stocked every single day and the pool staff were delightful too. The breakfast was wonderful - so much variety. My husband and I also dined in the restaurant - almost every night and the food was exquisite. I would certain return and recommend to my family and friends.

The room is beautifully clean and comfortable, the setting is incredible, incomparable views and so secluded. The location makes this hotel. Breakfast is brilliant, so much choice and changes daily, no need for lunch as you can really fill up!

The pool area was being renovated during my stay (June ‘24) and wasn’t ready, so it felt like a bit of a building site. There were no day beds. It’s very expensive to eat here and other than a little cafe on the further away beach which is sometimes open, you’re limited to eating at the hotel due to the secluded location.

Everything about this room was exceptional. The bed, the bathroom, the deck, all the amenities. It was more luxurious than I expected. Not to mention the bottle of Cava and delicious cookies for our 30th Anniversary! Courteous 5 star staff! We enjoyed the private beach and the water treatment at the Spa. And a romantic and delicious dinner at 58. And the view from our Ocean front room? Like a scene from movie. Breathtaking. This hotel was the perfect ending to our Spain trip!

A few minor issues.. I loved sitting out on the deck but we were next to a chain smoker...so it was like we were chain smoking too. Bummer but we understand it's a different culture. Also couldn't seem to work the air conditioner. Would.it be possible to have luggage racks? And this is something we noticed through Spain..no washcloths! Would have loved washcloths!

The place is probably the best on the Costa Brava coast, the nature is totally preserved around which is unique, no buildings nor villa around, no one at night, beautiful spa, beach, swimming pool, restaurant on the beach, culinaire restaurant at the hotel, all looking on the sea, and what made our stay extraordinary is the professionalism and the kindness of the staff. i travel every week for business, Europe, America and Africa. This place is incredible. All the staff without exception is first class, natural, smiling, caring, .... No wonder all the people you meet come here regularly for many years (one person came since ....1979 !). A hidden gem you can rely on

Great views and direct access to a nice sandy beach, top hotel facilities (large pool, SPA, massage, tennis, table tennis, SUP, Yoga...), excellent room (we had a superior room with sea view), very helpful reception team, good breakfast buffet;

The neighbourhoods north and south of the bay (Lloret de Mar, Blanes) are not among the nicest villages along the Costa Brava, so if you like to do walks or bike tours directly from the hotel there's not much choice. The hotel's beach restaurant has a superbe location and the food is good, but the service has some room for improvement.

Our family was lucky to discover this hotel during our road trip. Kind and helpful hotel staff, breathtaking and mesmerizing seaside view that captures the very essence of the Costa Brava coastline, the hotel itself and our room is modern yet has character of traditional Spanish architecture, full-filling gourmet dinner and breakfast buffet, we got a good nights rest hearing the calming ocean waves. Our family would like to thank everyone at the Santa Marta Hotel, hopefully we get a chance to visit again soon!
