Staff friendly and helpful, food was very good

Freshly cooked bacon and eggs from the grill. Sufficient coffee machines with minimal queuing. Always plenty of hot water. Lifts to the room on 5th floor arrived with minimal waiting. The hotel was decorated for Christmas giving a good atmosphere.

Bar prices not all advertised. Bar staff served more expensive drinks unless you asked for the lower price options. Pre registration appeared a waste of time, as there was only one or two persons on reception, dealing with everyone. The pre registered desk was never open. Even though you have booked, you have to re confirm the booking directly with the hotel or the booking is cancelled.

The hotel was absolutely lovely. The buffet style meals had a large choice of food available and some food was also cooked fresh within the dining room. A microwave is also available in the dining room if you needed to warm anything up. All the staff work so hard to keep the customers happy. There is a regular bus that stops just outside the hotel to get you up to Mojacar Pueblo or down into Majorca and likewise across the road to get to Garrucha. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The facilities had everything we wanted and it was an excellent holiday stay with family

I tried to amend my booking to full board because we had children with us.The hotel informed that as I had booked with booking com it could only be amended by booking com Booking com said I could only be amended by the hotel and the issue was never resolved As a consequence we had to pay for meals separately at the hotel at a cost of over €350.

We are regular visitors although the last time was four years ago pre COVID. We were greeted by the Head Waiter like long lost friends. He was sincere and genuine. Room was great. Clean and comfortable. Shower was brilliant.

The food is not so great. All the desserts taste the same of nothingness. Main food is fine but it's always cold despite the heat lamps. Breakfast is very nice though as it can be cooked fresh for you.

We had a wonderful stay at Marina Playa. All staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, Rachid head of restaurant gave us excellent service with so much information what was gluten free as one of us is a Coeliac and could not fault the service.

We felt the hotel was a little dated but would not put us off staying again.

Staff are super friendly, efficient and helpful. We enjoy the choice of food available at the buffet and there is always enough choice for varied tastes. It is a real bonus to be able to check out at midday although we often choose to pay for a later check-out (6pm) so we can relax and freshen up before our usual evening flight. We have stayed here 3 times so far (Sept, Feb, early Dec) and it has been lovely and quiet at these times but a little busier at weekends when Spanish people seem to come for weekend breaks.
