The hotel is beautiful , the room is clean and nicely decorated. The location is great. Breakfast is lovely! The grounds are very pretty.

There seem to be no rules around the pool so it’s not a very relaxing place to spend the day. Kids (and adults) were dive bombing continuously soaking everyone around the pool. Yet no lifeguard or anyone monitoring from a safety perspective. One family took their baby to into the pool with no nappy! It felt as though maybe they were short on staff and this caused stress for the staff at breakfast time. Guests would arrive and there was no one to greet us so we would just sit down anywhere, then we would get told off for sitting down in the wrong place. Put someone in charge of welcoming guests at breakfast as this would solve this issue. A small tip but there was no mirror in the bedroom (only one in the bathroom) and no fridge.

This was such a wonderfull experience!! From the art against the walls, the cute bedding, funky wallpaper, quotes framed on the walls, the fantasic friendly staff and the stunning restaurant downstairs. Everything was just superb! What a beautifull little gem! The rooms were spotlessly clean, the breakfast had lots of choices with fresh fruits and pastries. The paella in thd restaurant was the best in town! The hotel is a few steps away from the buzzing street with supermarkets and other shops, but still so quiet you wont even know its there. We would definitely stay here again and for much longer.

Absolutely nothing!

Very friendly and helpful staff who speak many languages. Quiet location. Close to the beach. Excellent variety of food for the breakfast. Nice pool with enough deck-chairs and parasols. Towels provided by the hotel. If you go to the beach, you can borrow a beach-umbrella from the hotel for free. To rent 2 sunbeds + locker + parasol costs 20.5€/day in 2025. On weekend days it is possible to rent it for half-day only at around half the price.

Thin walls and only 1 electricity socket in the room. The room 314 with sea-view has max 15% sea in the view :) Even so, it was worth the price for us. Rooms 311-315 have a similar view. Fourth floor on the left, when looking at the sea, might have a better view.

The hotel is beautifully decorated, the breakfast is lovely and the food in the restaurant is very good. The room was clean and had nice decor. The pool area is very nice too, with a good amount of sun beds. They offer you pool/beach towels to use during the day which is very useful is you are travelling light. The staff are friendly and the hotel is easy to reach from the Airport, about 30 minutes away and the beach is a short walk from the hotel. They had a useful guide in the room with lots of information, including the number for a taxi company which I used to book my return to airport at a reasonable rate.

My room was on the ground floor with a terrace tucked around the side of the building, the balconies and terraces at the back of the hotel looked to be better positioned with better views. I did find the room would benefit from better sound insulation. I was woken late one evening by a very loud noise of water running from the neighbouring room and a high pitched noise which is usually caused by air in the pipes. I did raise it with reception, who were friendly however they were unable to help as I couldn’t demonstrate the noise at the time. Again the next morning I was woken early by the neighbours showering and you can clearly hear when the room above flushed their toilet. I think I was just unlucky that my room must have been surrounded by quite a few pipes and thin walls.

This hotel is an absolute gem. Right in the middle of the town. It has a relaxed, quiet and chilled atmosphere. The pool and outside restaurant area are beautiful. The restaurant is amazing and highly recommend to eat here. It is spotlessly clean and staff and very friendly. Our room was gorgeous. Breakfast was continental eggs, salads, fruit , cheeses etc. I prefer porridge, corn flakes options etc. so it wasn’t ideal for this but my friend said it was one of the best breakfast displays she has ever eaten- so definitely down to taste. Will definitely stay again.

A quirky hotel. Thoughtfully furnished. All staff members were really friendly and welcoming, they really do the hotel proud. The restaurant terrace was perfect for breakfast. Our room was a decent size. A large shower with piping hot water. We had a nice view of the pool from our balcony. The breakfast is buffet style and plentiful. The pool area is really pleasant and there was nobody reserving sunbeds. We had an early morning flight and sandwiches and croissants had been left for us which was a lovely gesture. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again.

Nothing not to like

all the staff were very helpful and eager to please. the food was exceptional, and really suggest going for full board, especially during the winter when the local restaurants are closed. breakfast consisted of a full-on buffet, and seeing many German's like to stay there, the selection was too their taste, i.e. cold cuts, cheeses, olives, eggs, etc. couldn't believe how scrumptous the evening 3-course meal was with starter, main course, and desert. full on ! even if not staying at the hotel a meal at 'Chicos Del Mar' will definitely not disappoint !

heating in the room was not good. it was cold when i arrived and the room was freezing. took a while with a member of staff on how work the heat, but the room did not get warm for two days. unfortunately i got chilled and came down with a terrible cold.

Hotel is lovely! It's like a museum. My little boy really enjoyed discovering all kind of vintage art and toys. Outdoors there is a beautiful garden, lovely atmosphere. Pool was a little too cold in November but I jumped in anyway. It was great to have breakfast outside in the garden every morning. Breakfast has a lot of options, although could have more hot options. We had two dinners at the hotel and both were really delicious!! And the staff at the restaurant and reception were so lovely, everyone was so nice and friendly. And one more thing, go watch the sunsets on the beach, absolutely amazing!

I think there is a misleading photo, which gives you the idea that the hotel is like 50m from the beach. It's not, that close, it's about 6-7min walk, so I was a little bit disappointed at first. But it's not a major thing at all. Breakfast could have more hot meal options, otherwise it's very good.

This was my second visit to this hotel and it was every bit as lovely as the first! The Bella Colina in Peguera, has completely mastered how to make you feel relaxed from the moment you step through their door. I'm not sure if it's the hotel's airy, quirky chic or the sheer loveliness of all the staff there, who despite being busy making everything just right - do so with a noticeable absence of fuss and bother. There is an elegant pool area with day beds, which is set in the privacy of the garden - for those who enjoy a refreshing dip and a sauna too. Also worthy of mention, is the hotel's restaurante Chicos del Mar, where we enjoyed delicious, thoughtfully prepared dishes served in a relaxed setting of soft ambient music and candlelight. Whatever the hotel's secret  - it's a winning combination and a truely charming place to stay.

That I didn't stay longer!

Loved the location short walk to the beach shops and restaurants. The rooms were fab very clean and comfortable with a good size balcony overlooking beautiful gardens and the pool. We could not however find any English Channels on the TV but reception staff did offer to find them for us. Due to our short stay we did not pursue this. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would have been helpful.
