- Fabulous breakfast, so many options and choices. - Extremely nice and friendly staff. Nothing was a problem - I got a breakfast takeaway because I had to leave for the airport in the morning, the staff called me a taxi in advance, and communication went well. - The location is perfect with access to the beach. Punta Umbria beach is very close. - There is a nice variety of spa and wellness services available.

- The pool opens at 11:30 am (not earlier), and if you want to swim in the morning and the sea is cold, you have no option. In this case, the hotel should offer a capacity of its indoor pool for free (you have to pay for entry). - During my stay, I had a problem with air-conditioning - it did not work well, I got information that the technician would check it and fix it, but it did not happen/the problem was not solved, so for several nights, I could not fall asleep due to a hot room. This really made my stay very uncomfortable. - I was missing a kettle to boil some tea in the hotel room. - The A/C system does not allow to set a temperature to the room (if it would be working, which was not my case).

A true Mediterranean gem by the beach. The traditional decoration, the nice warm staff. We loved the comfy huge beds, and chose a room with direct exit to the swimming pool. The breakfast and dinner were varied and cooked with care, delicious. It was our anniversary and the hotel surprised us with a sweet treat and a lovely message. One of the highlights of the stay definitely goes to the friendly ladies at the Welness center, you must try the massages!

Only wish the Arrozante hotel restaurant was open more often, we were looking forward to try it but it’s only open for lunch on the weekends.

It is a very nice beach hotel. Rooms are quite roomy. The breakfast and dinner buffet are nice, not opulent but still with lots of diversity. Empty trays are quickly replenished.

Evening entertainment could be better, especially on Saturdays.

We have stayed 3 times now. Good location, has the potential to be a great hotel. Special mention for Erina, Maria Jose and Francesco. Pretty good buffet.

The guy on reception was unfriendly. 10€ deposit for towel for the pool, get a ticket from reception and then go to pool to get a towel. Really? Parking on site is operated by a separate company but is €9 a day. No help with luggage. Cold milk is 60 metres from tea machine. No tea or coffee service at breakfast, only a diy machine.

We stayed at Barcelo mostly because of its location. Really wanted to see Punta Umbria in low season with no people and a bit windy and cold ocean. The hotel met our expectations. Cleanliness & personnel - perfect. Design of the room - very good, but everything is done to keep you cold which is the best during summer, but cold floor during winter is not the best thing. Spa - nice and clean, but smal, it's good that they require reservations and allow max 10 people. Outdoor pool seemed to be nice, but there was no weather for that. Breakfast - very good - they managed to make a very diverse breakfast, despite the very small number of visitors. Gym - I went there and was alone! Nice feeling! The gym is well equipped, but I think it fits 4-6 persons max. All the reservations (spa, gym, etc.) can be made through the app. And of course the price, it was very attractive! I think almost the same as in hostels in Punta Umbria...

As I said, the whole room setup is a summer one. It would be really nice to add some kind of carpets for the winter, for example. Also, I didn't like twin beds (but maybe that was my fault and I choose a wrong type at the booking time). Everything else was just nice!

The resort was beautiful, great staff and great service and great buffet, so much food and so many choices. Room was very clean.

We checked in and the reception showed us a sheet with info on the hotel and our stay. I asked if breakfast was included and he told us that both breakfasts and diners were included. I think he misunderstood my English he meant to tell us that both meals were served in the buffet on the bottom floor. When we came to pay our bill we had to pay over 100 euros for 2 dinners that were not included. We paid it but we told them that they had said it was included but it didn't make any difference. Also the lock on the patio door was not working we told them but nobody came to fix it. We were in room 13 on the ground floor and next to the room there is a speaker outside that plays all the time and you can hear it in the room, not pleasant.

The food is amazing - the right amount of variety - always options for fish, meat and veggie. The Staff is amazing! Always available to help - Fair prices for drinks.

The indoor pool needs to be paid a part and booked in advance.

It was fine. I was there for a wedding. It was more luxurious than I needed, but it was a special event.

It was more extravagant than I needed, but it was clean, well kept, and the staff were pleasant.

The infrastructure and the excellent food.

Lunch time is a bit too late. Should start at 13h. There should be more places for kids to play, like small football field, tennis court, etc.

Beach access is spectacular. Facility grounds are well kept. Room beds are very comfy.

Air conditioning in the room was not working until the last night. Mosquitoes were prolific and problematic. Grill struggled to keep up with demand during dinner service.
