Decor, lovely fresh and new, quirky place, comfy beds, great shower, clean, lovely gardens to walk dog, good food and wine in restaurant. Location wise handy to break up our travel and a lovely bar that also served food 3 mins drive away in local village with dart board for kids would recommend visiting, Taberna de Rubena!

When we arrived after a 6 hour car journey, we were told there was renovations to the cafe so we couldn't get a drink or any food anywhere (if we were told this in advance we could have arranged a stop to a shop). We had to wait til 8 for it to open... Several hours after check in... Extremely basic gym; not really worth a visit...

A wonderful surprise! Although the price was a bit high during my stay, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome, helpful, and attentive. The entire place was spotless, with a strong attention to cleanliness that made a real difference. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, especially the cosy cafeteria which was perfect for a quiet coffee or a relaxed breakfast. I especially appreciated the lovely garden, beautifully maintained and ideal for families. It felt safe and peaceful, a place where children can run around freely while parents unwind. Overall, a very pleasant stay. I felt comfortable, cared for, and secure throughout. Looking forward to coming back on my next visit!

I had a great experience at this recently renovated hotel. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the family rooms, which was both comfortable and fairly spacious - perfect for traveling with young kids. An added bonus was the convenient electric car charging station, which made things much easier for us. This place is a hidden gem. We will return.

The service at the hotel restaurant was pleasant and the staff was attentive. However, the price-to-quality ratio could be improved, as the food didn’t quite justify the cost. We noticed there’s another nearby restaurant with excellent reviews - just a short drive away - but we haven’t had the chance to try it yet.

This is always our stopover when travelling from our base in the Pyrenees to Spain or Portugal. Just off the motorway, plenty of easy parking, lovely rooms, very comfortable beds and a restaurant. They also accept dogs. We paid a little extra for the Premium room, which was definitely worth the extra money. The staff are friendly and helpful, and we particularly like the young man in the restaurant, who is the star employee in our opinion. I have coeliac disease, and they were very confident in advising me what I could and couldn't eat. And the gluten free bread is delicious.

We can't really fault the hotel, and we wouldn't change anything.

Superb location when travelling between Bilbao and Southern Spain, this hotel is at the bottom of the slip road off the AP1 / E80. Yet although it is so close to the motorway it is surprisingly quiet and tranquil, with beautiful grounds ideal for exercising the dog. Non-dog owners don't need to feel uncomfortable, but it is an absolute haven for those travelling with dogs, with a specific area off reception where dogs and their humans can relax with a drink, have an evening meal and breakfast, and it is a very friendly sociable place to be. The rooms are nicely decorated and well appointed with lovely modern bathrooms, and doggie guests are provided with beds, bowls and a welcome pack.

Stayed here as an overnight stop on route back home to England from southern Spain. Great location with plenty of parking available which was included in the price. We upgraded the room and it was ideal. A sofa and more space. The decor in the room was very modern and welcoming. Bathroom was a good size with a walk in shower and again we loved the decoration. Comfortable beds and adequate toiletries for an overnight stay. The hotel as a whole was nice.y decorated and very clean. We didn’t have dinner but the breakfast was lovely. An excellent selection of hot and cold foods which should have something for everyone. Very friendly staff throughout.

Maybe a better explanation of what can be obtained in the cafeteria. We were hoping for some sort of hot food as , being typically English 🫣, we like to eat before 8pm when the restaurant opened.

Good size, smart, well maintained room. Dog friendly (though 17euro for the night bit steep even with the free treats!) with grass and waste bins. Massive range of super food for breakfast. Very good dinner nicely served. Sound insulation from outside road noise is pretty effective. Would definitely stay again.

In spite of it's name be aware it's not in Burgos itself, it's at Rubena (use this name in sat nav and you'll see it) It's some kilometres from Burgos so don't expect to walk to Burgos (or anywhere) to do any sight seeing! It's surrounded by big roads so great as a stopover as good connections by car.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. It doesn't look the greatest when you pull up outside, but we enjoyed our stay. The reception team were super friendly and explained everything in detail. The room was great, clean and comfortable. The cafeteria served a good variety of snacks, coffee and drinks. Communication prior to our stay was great with all kinds of detail about check-in and arrival. Super quiet despite the location beside the main highway. Ample parking and EV charging facilities

Not a criticism but just be aware it's a short drive into Burgos so you'll need a car to get around if staying here.

Easy to find off motorway. Accept dogs and even provide dog bed, bowl and treat! Nice area around hotel for walks..gardens etc. Very good standard hotel with cafe, restuarant, outside patio. Room price very good value . Comfy bed, quiet aircon...here was the only good night's sleep I got in hot temps on my route to uk! Breakfast had good selection and best choice of pastries on my trip.

Just a small thing ..laminate floors are very slippy for dogs ...try none slip type when making dog friendly rooms. My poor old girl thought she was on an ice rink! 😂

The hotel was superb, after breaking down on the motorway en route, they even offered to send a taxi to collect me from the roadside.. how wonderful. The lady on reception, I think it was Christina, is such a lovely person and made check in swift as she knew I’d been sat on the roadside for almost 5 hours, she is a credit to the hotel. The room was like something from a manhattan apartment, impeccable and the bed was insanely comfortable. And the room was huge, felt more like a big studio than a hotel room, it was very clean and there was coffee making facilities included which was a godsend in the morning. I loved it there and highly recommend it.

The only thing I would say is that the outside doesn’t give you any idea how stunning the inside is.
