Characterful hotel with large lobby and very friendly / helpful reception staff. Location in the centre of town just next to restaurants and tapas bars and a short walk to the cathedral and nice riverfront area. The hotel is in a pedestrianised zone so if travelling by car you have two options: 1. pull up to a bollard and request access via intercom to the precinct for dropping off luggage before driving to the nearby public parking, 2. park in the public parking first and just carry luggage to the hotel (5 minutes walk). In both cases the hotel give you a parking discount ticket for when you pay on exit. Option 1 worked for us, by chance the bollard was already down when we arrived!

Very very clean and friendly hotel. Lovely location right in the center of Burgos. Characterful building and rooms. Large comfortable bathroom, very clean. Balcony and large windows. Friendly staff. Quiet if windows are closed (soundproofing).
Beds very basic metal frames and very creaky and moved around when you sat on them. Breakfast nice but very few choices and quite expensive (but we found lots of lovely options in town). In the heat, I would have LOVED a fridge in the room.

Loved staying here, very spacious room, big comfortable bright room, lovely renovated bathroom with a generous bath, nice white fluffy towels, with a few toiletries. Grand entry reception area tastefully decorated with sofas to sit relax and enjoy, more your traditional antique style furniture which gave it that grand feeling. Staff happy friendly, with excellent English. I stayed 2 nights, great value for money, would certainly recommend this place, it has a old world charm with the staircase and squeaky floor boards. 5 minute walk to cathedral. Staff cleaned my room, made bed, closed windows when I came back late, thank you 💗

The location is very central. It is a beautiful building. The rooms are not very modern but they are cozy. The bathroom was refurbished, big and fine. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic but OK.
The hotel needs some refurbishment, and we got a room on the 4th floor in which water stains were noticeable in the ceiling and close to the windows. I missed an extra pillow in the room.

Excellent hotel and fabulous staff. The location was perfect for seeing the city but terrible if, like us you are driving. Couldn't get close so had to haul luggage from far away. Parking was hard to find and car parks were very expensive. However this is a wonderful hotel, staff were fabulous and the area was beautiful. It's is very friendly both the people and pets and the room was beautiful. I would just say it is better for those travelling without a vehicle.

The location is perfect, right at the start of the old town. It did come with street noise, but that would have been mitigated if we closed the windows. We just prefer fresh air at night. The staff were wonderful, nothing was ever a problem for them. I will definitely be staying here again if I ever go back to Burgos
Street/people noise, but it could have been avoided if we closed the windows. That was our choice.

Thus was the best hotel to stay in on Camino.... the staff were absolutely brilliant!! We had actually booked and paid for a hostal but didn't like it, so we went to Norte y Londres and they welcomed us with open arms!! Awesome location and nice big spacious rooms with a lovely windows that open onto the piazza below! Rooms were very sound proof to the sounds on the street outside too! 100% recommend! I told my Camino friends about it who were 3 days behind me and they stayed there too and loved it!

Excellent location. Close to old town. No parking available, but you can park in Plaza Mayor and walk for a few minutes to the hotel. The hotel can give you a small discount on the parking which ended up at about 15 eur/day. The staff was very polite. There is also very good restaurant 'La Mafia' next to the hotel.
The window was looking to a inner court/tight chimney. Very bad view and the ventilation of the restaurant was going through it. So any time you open the window, you can smell the food. Perhaps if you get a room looking towards the street it will be better.

Still perfect, a family run truly Spanish old glory, spotlessly clean, with attentive staff, very comfortable beds, huge roomy bathrooms, tiny balconies that open above sometimes busy pedestrian streets, squeaky floorboards and eccentric plumbing. I love it.
The charm of this hotel is that it is not a modern air conditioned box. If that is what you need, don’t choose it.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel. In a good central position (the cathedral is an easy walking distance away, for instance), it has a pleasantly old-fashioned atmosphere, but I found nothing old-fashioned about the services it provided, which include a comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, and an ample breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
My only criticism is that the plug in my washbasin did not hold water very well.
