Great hotel. Looks newly renovated and the hosts who own the hotel are just wonderful people. If you are on the Camino call ahead and they will pick you up and drop you back off in the morning. I really liked the hotel after a 24 mile day on the Camino and it was cold outside but once I got to the hotel I took a nice warm shower and went to the restaurant and had a good meal and was so thankful for a nice warm clean room. I would stay here again and thank you to the Hosts. Just nice people.

The hotel was described very clean and basic, but when we got there we were very pleased, the room was basic but lovely and clean and maintained to a high standard. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We ate at the restaurant/bar in the evening having a menu of the night, we both thought it was lovely, it was nice to see the bar area busy with the locals which we feel was a good sign. We are looking to book the hotel for our return trip on the way back
We can honestly say there were no down sides to the hotel or the restaurant, as we have said above a lovely family friendly place. I would be happy to recommend this hotel to anyone.

We enjoyed a comfortable stay in this small hotel, in a small town very convenient to our route. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. The heat was turned on when we arrived and the room warmed up quickly. The shower is large and the water was hot right away. We parked behind the hotel. It was very convenient as it was pouring rain when we arrived. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

This was only a 1-night stop en route to Portugal, but one we really enjoyed. A lovely little town, albeit a little bit out of the way, it was certainly worth the detour. The hosts were very helpful, the room lovely and clean and comfortable. I can totally recommend it.
My only recommendation would be to have coffee available in the room, as you're unable to find anything open before 10h00 which is a bit late if you want to hit the road early.

We had a really long day on the Camino and were exhausted. We had to take a cab to Quintanapalla because it is a few miles off the Camino. When we got there, we were welcomed with big smiles and shown to a quiet, pristine room where we rested before dinner. Elena (proprietor along with her very kind husband) cooked us a nice meal in the evening and a lovely breakfast the next morning. They even helped us get into Burgos, which was our next stop. We enjoyed watching this couple with their children and neighbors; a real glimpse into living in a rural setting.
A glass in the bathroom helps if you have to take medications

Room- the new beds are much more comfortable. The shower was easily accessible with plenty of hot water. Simple but excellent and good value evening meal. Unpretentious ambiance, welcoming and hard-working owner. Easy parking and close access to main routes to ports.
We would have liked glasses for water in the bathroom. Also currently the access to the village is not easy due to ongoing roadworks. Should be good when they are complete.

The room was very clean and modern and the bed was super comfortable. There is a restaurant and bar at the property and the dinner was very good.
It is about a 15 minute ride off of the Camino but the hotel can pick you up if you call and they charged 20 euro. They offered same service in the morning back to the Camino.

Simple, clean and comfortable room in very quiet village. Really enjoyed my dinner at the restaurant.
The lack of breakfast options was a surprise. But I drove into Burgos which had plenty of choices.

Room was clean. The people were very helpful in helping us get to the hotel from San Juan de Ortega and also dropped us back the next morning (for a €15 charge per way). All amenities available in the room for a one night stay.
The restaurant attached to the hotel could be improved. Limited menu options and slow service with average quality of food.

Modern clean comfortable room. Host was pleasant and helpful.
The location…I was walking the Camino and had to go back 6 kms to get back on track. That’s a long way when you are walking. Opening hours weren’t posted. Very sleepy little town. No services of any kind.
