The lady on the Reception Desk was SO helpful, despite having other customers to attend to. She explained all the places to visit nearby which was fantastic as it was our first visit to the town. It was an excellent choice for a night's stay, close to the centre, cathedral and bars and restaurants. Affordable underground parking opposite the hotel. Hotel itself is an old building, inside is shabby chik and has seen better days but all very clean and fresh. Bathtub was a tad too difficult for me to attempt getting into, would have preferred a walk-in shower.....not sure if this is an option as there were only two rooms available when I booked (late). Breakfast OK.....cold buffet. Shops nearby, handy for stocking up if stopping here enroute to France or to south of Spain. Next door to the hotel is the most fantastic fruit and veg shop, cheap as anything and such good quality.

I would welcome the option of shower instead of a bath. Not the best if you have mobility problems....parking is underground (sub basement) and no lift. I found the concrete stairs a bit hardgoing after a long drive.

Ran like a 5 star hotel. Classic interior design. Very clean. Front desk staff was very welcoming and professional. They gave me restaurant advice for local culture, tapas and navagation tips. I would recommend it to friends and family. I had an exceptional experience because of the front desk staff.

A dog in another room continuously barked all morning when I wanted to sleep in and relax. People should not travel with pets if they do not plan to take them with them when they leave their hotel rooms. It’s very rude to other guests.

The hotel is on a busy but pleasant main road which is around 5-10 minutes walk into the city centre. It is just behind the road which has a bus stop which takes you to the main train station (which is some miles away from the town), so its location is pretty good. The lobby didn't impress me though - it was more like a hostel! The receptionists were friendly but were behind a glass panel and were always seated which came across as unwelcoming. My room was quite old-fashioned in its decor but was clean and pleasant. The bathroom was okay too. It had few accessible electric sockets. Breakfast was good and was in an interestingly decorated room (with again a rather Victoriana feel). It had a good choice and was buffet style and there was plenty of it. Overall it was great value for money and a comfortable stay.

The lobby area layout had a rather unwelcoming, hostel-style feel to it. It could do with a good refurbishment and reorganisation.

Good location, comfortable and very good value. Good breakfast. Underground parking was easy to access although it was located in the middle of the dual carriageway - easier than it sounds - and the hotel's spaces were clearly marked. Temporary parking outside the hotel was very useful for unloading luggage and getting carpark instructions

The hotel is a little bit difficult to spot when driving, partly due to trees. We missed it first time around. The room was fairly small and we would not have wanted to stay here for more than 1 or 2 nights.

Loved the French salon style in the bedroom, bathroom & in the breakfast room and reception. Comfortable beds and a good nights sleep and the location was handy for shops and a river walk to relax. Quality! Breakfast was nice but not refilled enough when we went for breakfast before 10am. Parking was okay as we found a parking bay just around the corner, though it was a canal holiday and the streets were quiet. It was free to park until 10am the next morning and then it was only cents for a couple of hours. You can park in front of the hotel to unload and repack your car.

A little tight the room between bed and wardrobe but we managed. Paying 12€ per night for our dog. We only paid 7.50€ a night in Madrid. It’s annoying when you have a small hypoallergenic dog so she doesn’t shed and we bring her bedding and food bowls to have to pay then she leaves no mess for them to clear up. We can understand it if it’s a bigger dog that is likely to shed and causes added cleaning, but we believe you should be charged only if that is necessary rather than just incase!

Clean room, employees were great and helpful. Instruction book in multiple languages for room controls. Breakfast is good! Location is nice close to center and just outside of the hustle and bustle. There are Cafes & tapas places nearby open during La Siesta.

Beds were hard, I like a firm bed, but I could feel the springs.

Stayed before and is ideally located in the centre of the beautiful city of Burgos. Staff always friendly and helpful. A special mention must be made to Ivan , the duty manager who was very empathetic and helpful when we arrived after midnight due to having a puncture earlier in the day. On both visits he has been very helpful and attentive to our requirements. Car parking in very secure underground carpark across road from hotel with easy access to unload and load car in front of hotel.

Fabulous big stateroom. A little noisy late ar night, parking ok, but our van was too tall for the underground, so we parked roadside.. excellent for the city centre..hotel cafe and bar only open till lunchtime. Staff nice, great English and polite. Breakfast was all continental, no hot options.

Street noise was loud later on.

The hotel is easy to access by car and the garage is very close. The hotel is in easy walking distance to the center and cathedral. The room and bathroom were of a good size.

The beds were on the harder side for my taste (I like them soft). No proper nightstand and no plugs to charge the phone on one side of the bed.

The young lady at reception was excellent, very knowledgable and helpful, the location and parking were brilliant, we parked our VW T6 with roof rails in the underground car garage. And a very nice room. Great that our dog was allowed to stay.

we were disappointed that there was not early breakfast option as we had to leave by 07:30, a blanket or something similar would also of been nice for the dog to sleep on.
