The mattresses seemed so comfortable - pillow, real sheet, and comforter which helped because otherwise it is freezing in the building. The location was right next to a delicious cafe and walkable to many things.
The WiFi basically didn’t work. I understood it is shared with the bar/restaurant and with all the people it was unusable. There was a scoot game on - if they are using the WiFi to stream TV, they need more bandwidth. For pilgrims trying to use WiFi for logistics or finding other services for their trip - this was very disappointing when WiFi is unreliable. The check-in process is long w/one person working (not sure how they could speed it up tho since it seems manual).

Great to have an all female dorm. Beds super comfy with good bed linen provided - I slept very well. Very clean and in a central location. Spacious kitchen
Reception is unmanned. You need to ask in the bar for check-in or anything else. None of the staff could muster a smile between them, and they are in dire need of some customer service training. There is no tourist information in the "reception" area, and no washing up liquid or cloths to clean up (as requested) in the kitchen.

The property was streamlined modern and very comfortable. The rooms were clean, had clean cozy quilts and the door was accessible by a digital passcode for safety. A bar and cafe on the ground floor was affiliated with the alburgue. The location was amazing, being central in the old city and near the cathedral. It seems that many pilgrims I have met on the Camino ended up at this same alburgue. That was fun!
The windows to our room overlooked the street. There were noisy revelers walking beneath our 2nd floor window much of the night.

This a a great hostel, I stayed as a non pilgrim, value for money, has its own bar restaurant downstairs 5 mins from Cathedral. Friendly helpful staff, 2 sheets and pillow case supplied including doona, heating and shower gel. All female room with 4 bunks. Big kitchen area light and bright as with rooms, very spacious, own locker, great space.
Not much I didn’t like about this hostel, except, not sure about 8 females sharing 1 bathroom and 1 toilet in same room, could be a bit scamped.

Location, cleanliness, kitchen facilities, bathroom/showers
Security. The albergue could be accessed from the bar/restaurant. Therefore if a room door was not closed tightly/properly, anyone could enter…. And did. During my 2 night stay, people staying in another dorm room reported items having gone missing.

Great location. I was in a 4 bunk room with a shared bathroom for 8, but there were only 4 of us. Nice big bathroom with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The beds were very comfortable with real sheets and a comforter. It felt great to not have to sleep in a sleeping bag. The rooms also offered a well sized locker with a key. It was an easy check in.
The connected restaurant was a smokey sports bar type.

Excellent location - located a short walk from almost all the main attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful (especially Sarai) and it has a great Scottish pub downstairs which has good breakfast, lunch and dinner options! Mattress was comfortable and bathroom was very clean and modern.
Quite a lot of street noise at night. It starts to get quieter at midnight, but if you want to go to bed earlier than that, bring some earplugs. Room didn’t have air conditioning either, which was fine during the day but was a problem at night because it was so hot, and if I wanted to open the window, the noise from the street would be louder.

This is the best hostel in Burgos, maybe in the whole of Spain. The staff are extremely friendly, the rooms are spotless (with fresh linen sheets), and the ambience is top notch. It's also Scottish themed so what more could you ask for!? Yes, they have irn bru, God's gift to the hangover. I will only stay here when I come to Burgos. Keep doing what you're doing you legends! 💙🏴

This is a good hostel, comfortable, clean and very central. It has good kitchen and laundry facilities, I stayed in a 10 bed all female dorm which was nice. It sits above a restaurant so very convenient.
We only had one toilet/shower to share in our room. Made it a bit tricky but there was another toilet/shower in the hall outside our room.

Fabulous location, close to everything. Loved the female only dorm room. Easy to find. Close to the Camino.
Even with windows closed, you could hear the revellers in the street up late partying but then we were there Friday & Saturday nights.
