I'm not sure if this applies to all the rooms, but the window view is lovely as it overlooks the cathedral and the Santa Maria arch. Although breakfast is not included, the establishment has a cafeteria where you can always find something to eat. This makes it a great option if you want to leave your room but still stay close to the area. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding, and the atmosphere is very friendly.

One thing I did have a problem with was that the walls are not soundproof so you could hear the people from the other rooms. Although I did not have a problem with this but they do not have a laundry service but there are laundrymat close to the hotel so It was not a problem.I did have an issue with the walls not being soundproof, as I could hear the people in the other rooms. However, this wasn't a major problem for me. Additionally, the hotel does not offer a laundry service, but there are laundromats close by, so it wasn't an inconvenience.

Absolutely ideal location -- in the heart of the historic/scenic area + shopping district, and just a couple minutes walking from the bus station. (If you come in by train, there's a bus that leaves from the train station and goes to the bus station.) Really, the location doesn't get better. The mattress and especially the pillows were out of this world!! I haven't slept that well in ages. It was heavenly! I want those pillows at home! Really enjoyable shower experience too, big ceiling showerhead with good pressure and nice, toasty-hot water. Pleasant staff.

Smell of cigarette smoke in the room. The hand towel smelled clean, but the bath towel smelled like cigarettes too. The door to the bathroom is a swing door that doesn't latch or fully close, which was fine for me as I was traveling alone, but I wouldn't have liked that were I sharing the room with someone. Shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

Location was excellent - right across from the Burgos Cathedral, and a 3 minute walk from the bus station. The area around the cathedral is where all the activity and food locations are, do it was perfect for us.

It’s an older property (which in itself is not an issue). Some maintenance elements impacted slightly - but not much: There was basically only one plug point where we could charge our devices in the bedroom, and it wasn’t next to our bed. It’s not something that would stop me from renting here again.

We stayed 3 nights. Staff super friendly. Cafe downstairs was great for breakfast. Location was close to everything (bus station, cathedral, main square, shopping, restaurants). We had an issue with the shower the first day - they fixed it within 24 hours. We did have a room with a skylight and after a severe thunderstorm there was a slight leak (drips, not stream). We informed the front desk and she noted it. The room was comfortable and clean.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with the cathedral right across the street, offering a breathtaking view from my room. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with any request or question I had. Additionally, being just a block away from the bus station made getting around incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Burgos

The only minor limitation was that I couldn't customize the room temperature, as they use a central heating system.

The location is excellent, just steps from the bus station and with a view of the cathedral. (See photo below, taken from our room.). The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. There is a bar just behind the reception area which serves breakfast from 7:00 if, like us, you are walking the Camino

There is an unnecessarily complicated digital lock on each room. When we made comments to the reception staff about this, they said they hated it too.

Well-located hotel in front of Arco Santa Maria with stunning views of the cathedral. The hotel is right in the center of Burgos, only a few steps away from the Cathedral and the old quarter. The rooms are not huge but are extremely clean and nicely decorated. Many have views over the Cathedral and Arco Santa Maria, which is a bonus. The staff is friendly. Although breakfast is not included, there is a cafe on the premises that you can access from both inside the property and the outside. Ideal for having a pincho de tortilla and coffee in the morning. This hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay at the Via Gotica hotel again.

Great location very central and close to the Cathedral. The views to the city gate from our room were also great. The room size was good and the bed was confortable.

The bathroom was not as clean as we expected and also the light and extractor turn on when you enter in it, which causes uncomfortable noise in the middle of the night and light passes through because it has a glass wall.

1. Very close to the center and easy walking all round the area. 2. Our room was on the corner and had two floor to ceiling windows. We were able to people watch from our room. 3. Spacious bathroom.

Nothing but if I am picking bones...Our shower outlet was slightly blocked. I was showering in a puddle of my own dirty water. 😅 A tad noisy with people in the street crossing the street.

We were given the top floor appartment which was lovely. Great view of the Cathedral. Location just outside the walls was perfect.

Check in process was a little slow - it was a busy time with lots of people checking in and only one person on reception. No real issue caused, just felt a bit sorry for the poor person on reception having to deal with a crowd!
