Room was comfortable and very clean. Excellent shower, and a comfortable bed. Plenty of storage. Windows that you could open. Very quiet except for noise from other families with children out near the lift when they were up in the morning - loud voices. But the lift worked and that was helpful being on the 5th floor. The hotel has a bar/restaurant which is excellent but does get busy very quickly once opened. It has a menu you can choose from but you do need some Spanish to communicate what you want. If you stay here you are very close to the Cathedral and other lovely places to browse.

No information provided in the rooms about food in the bar or when it is being served. I have found being in Spain a while now, that places do not open at 9 in the morning, so if you want a coffee or tea or breakfast early you have to go out to find something. Not being from Spain and with limited vocabulary the hotel could leave a menu in the room to explain what type of food they have and when it is available. Facilities to make a tea or early morning coffee would be useful because there is a fridge in the room.

We liked everything! The staff in the bar/restaurant were lovely, the cleaners were great, the coffee machine and mini muffins/palmeritas were very welcome when slightly woozy from the previous night's celebrations, the location is amazing, the bed really comfortable...I could go on! We were there over the weekend of the festival de San Pedro and San Pablo, and arrived to an amazing cacophony of jazz/ska/Pogues-esque music. Absolutely brilliant. And yet we slept well each of the 3 nights we were there and the room was quiet. Also I'm 6'4", but there was no issue with height in the room despite being on the 5th floor. (There is also a lift by the way - I prefer to walk but after a few copas at night, a lift is very welcome!). The location is so central it is wonderful, and Burgos is a simply superb city. We were fortunate to have a friend show us around, and went out of the city centre to the Huelgas monastery and the Cartuja de Miraflores - a real bonus, absolutely fascinating and beautiful regardless of whether you have religious beliefs or not. Back in the centre, Rimbombin is within minutes of the cathedral, lots of restaurants and museums, and more culture than we could absorb in our all too brief 3 days. We went to a restaurant where they sing the Burgos anthem every night at 10.00pm, we saw parades, drumming, music, and ate excellent food - including in Rimbombin itself. It's a great Hostal in a great city.

Really liked how clean, comfortable, and well-appointed this place is. Even though it's right in the heart of town, our top-floor apartment was a quiet retreat. The staff were great with advising on parking, which is located 2 minutes away, and with discounted vouchers to pay...as a car isnt required in this part of town. The cafe/bar/restaurant downstairs (by the same name) is also a really popular venue with great tappas and a hearty dinner menu..

Very clean, comfortable room, had everything we needed. Comfy beds, good shower. Location in centre of town, but quiet. Great value for money.

We arrived in Burgos by car, and the hotel was a little difficult to find because one cannot drive up to it. The directions on the site could be a little clearer. We found however a great underground car park 5 mins walk from the hotel, in Plaça Mayor. €18.50 a night, which was well worth it because we had luggage and had to leave early the next day.

Great place, but it was not made clear where the parking was. The directions on the booking app did not take us to the hotel. We had to ask someone where it was. We then had to work out for ourselves that the hotel had to be walked to from the nearest car park which turned out to be Plaza Mayor which cost us 19 euros.

Very clean and beautiful room. We loved the orange lampshades in the room and in the hallway, the lighting system of the room. Only a few steps from Catedral de Santa Maria. Fast check-in. I asked them to give us a quiet room and I would say it was the quietest room I have ever stayed in. We didn't use the TV (big enough for a hotel room) or the fridge. We ate both lunch and dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor. Yum! We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. We would gladly come back anytime. We must remember the delightful atmosphere of Sunday, when young and old "flooded" the old town for a drink with friends, at lunch or just on the evening promenade.

Restaurant on ground floor excellent and convenient Room was small but beautifully and tastefully remodeled. Location is ground zero middle of everything. Double edged sword because street is full of people and consequent noise which goes no later than midnight. I anticipated the noise and was totally prepared to accept it.

no kettle or coffee machine don’t upset the young male waiter if you eat at the adjoining restaurant/bar - if you do something he thinks is wrong, he yells at you in Spanish, takes ages to drop a menu (only one for two people) on the table, won’t take your order and you will have to pay at the counter - and you will never know what you did wrong or go back for any other meals - we had eaten there twice before and no one said we were doing something wrong (and we had planned to eat every other meal there as well - but didn’t go back)

The room was comfortable, clean, and contemporary with some interesting lighting.

The hostal was small with no one stationed at the front desk. You could ring a bell for service but saw a different person each time. We wanted to leave something at the front desk to be picked up by a friend a few days later. Impressively, this worked to perfection so I had no problem with the rotating crew at the front desk.

The room was clean, comfortable and included everything needed for a stay of four people. There was room for everyone and a good feeling of space.. Central and great location for a trip to Burgos but completely quiet. The staff were welcoming and efficient. If you are in Burgos don't hesitate.
