Loved the location, really close to the centre and beautiful cathedral (approx 5 mins walk) Parking superb, very secure and accessible. Leisure facilites were decent - good size pool and gym equipment with lockers. Our room had a small garden which our 2 French bulldogs appreciated to stretch their legs. The room was a really good size, plenty of space for any luggage.

The beds were pretty hard, I like a firm mattress generally but this was much harder than I’d choose. No drinks making facilities in the room - as an avid tea drinker, this was annoying. Thankfully the receptionist filled up a mug of hot water for me but worth noting, no kettle in the room.

The Abba Burgos hotel has a light, airy and spacious feel in all areas, including the rooms, and the reception area is just the same and offers a comfortable seating area for those whio arrive "en masse" and may be a little travel weary. The reception staff are very smart and helpful, and this applies to all of the staff, so your initial impression is very good and this followed through the whole time that we were there.The room was spacious, very clean, quiet,well equipped and comfortable. The breakfast selection should please everybody as there was so much available, cold or hot, and a good selection of juices and beverages, and the first class staff made sure that nothing ever ran out or was left on display too long. We did not stay in the hotel for lunch as we were out and around during the daylight hours, however, during the evening, from 20:00, there was a very good limited menu in the bar area and we ate there every night. The food and service was good and the prices were reasonable. The location ofb the hotel is in a very peaceful area on the edgev of Burgos but only a ten minute walk from the cathedral which is the town centre and for those who are travelling by car there is an on site safe payable car park. This is our second trip to Burgos and the Abba Burgos hotel and we hope to visit both again in the future.

Lovely hotel with quality rooms. Breakfast had a great choice of continental and a hot choice. Private secure car park at an extra charge. Would stay again but if the main restaurant was closed we wouldn't eat in the bar.

We ordered a meal in the bar as it was the only option that evening. The veal was undercooked and very fatty which veal shouldn't be, my wife sent hers back it was returned a bit more cooked but the rest of her meal was then cold. The bar manager was very apologetic and reception cancelled the cost of the meals on checkout. The front of house handled the situation very professionally.

Lovely comfortable room , helpful , friendly staff . Secure car park . This is our second time staying at this hotel while driving to and from the Algarve from the UK . It is perfect for our needs and Burgos is a beautiful city.

There was a bit of noise late last night from other residents, which was not a problem the last time we stayed . €30 for a dog is , I feel a bit excessive . We are in an equivalent hotel in France tonight and the pet supplement is €12 which I feel is more realistic. Generally people travelling with dogs are older couples ,respectful of the hotel and responsible dog owners.

The terrace was very nice. Location was great. It was very quiet and comfortable.

We were hot and it didn't seem like the AC worked (maybe it was too cool outside) so we slept with the terrace doors open. Not a big issue- I love to sleep with windows open- but a little strange, and would not have done it if I had been alone, because all of the terraces were connected. Also, we were scolded for sharing a menu del dia because we are not used to eating such a big lunch. The 1/2 portions were perfect for us, and in the US it is always perfectly fine to share dishes if you are not hungry enough for a big one, so we were dismayed to be scolded about it as we left.

The hotel was easy to access, well located, spacious and clean.

The breakfast experience was bad. There was 1 coffee machine and a long queue, the coffee machine stopped working several times. The female waiter, I guess the head waiter, she was bossing around the others, was very stressed and very rude. She told me off when I asked about the yogurt, then rolled her eyes and went to the kitchen to fetch more yogurt. Same thing happened when i asked for croissants, she relactantly fetched them after giving me a bad eye. Then there were no small spoons, yogurt plates...she was constantly raising her voice and visibly upset. Then she threw fresh oranges into the juice maker basket and almost hit a guest with one of the oranges that bounced out of the basket. I have never seen anything like this anywhere.....not a good experience.

Pre-registered online and the only thing asked from me was a credit card. Reception staff was professional, welcoming and cordial. The room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. Likewise with the bathroom. Property was clean, modern and had a really nice curb appeal. Parking was available at the premises. There were two parking lots - one outside and one under the hotel. Parked under the hotel and thank goodness because the weather turned really hot! City center was a downhill walk from the hotel which made it an easy walk. However, it meant that going back you had an uphill hike. On a hot day, that could be a bit tiring, even arduous. Hotel had an on-site restaurant that was open 24/7. Breakfast was pretty decent but standard. Restaurant and hotel staff were professional, responsive and very helpful. Restaurant food was also pretty decent and inexpensive. Almost everyone spoke English.

Because it was a hot day, we were disappointed we could not lower the room temperature to a more desirable level. The room was really warm and the bathroom was like a sauna. There was no coffee maker or complimentary water bottles in the room. The hotel was located on a hilltop and a bit of a hike from the restaurants located near the cathedral and main plaza. On-site restaurant could use some tweaking on ambiance - it felt like eating in a cafeteria with the bright lights. I guess that’s a good thing since you can see what you are eating.

Room located on ground floor with lovely private terrace and enclosed lawn area so we could enjoy an evening drink in the sunshine. Great breakfast which was excellent value for money. Convenient garage parking at 9 euros a night which was a reasonable price. Close enough to the city center to enjoy an easy level walk to restaurants and all the attractions. Great walk up to the castle behind the hotel via a well paved pathway. We do hope the castle gets restored to it's former glory - lots of history here as with the monument outside the hotel to General Juan Martin Diez - the city needs to make more of both of these important historical attractions.

Immaculately clean and smelled amazing. Staff friendly and helpful. Bed very comfortable and linens and toiletries provided. Swimming facilities were relaxing. Buffet breakfast generous selection with choice of gluten free options, thank you. Room service and minibar good selection and reasonably priced. Will visit an Abba hotel again.

My TV had no signal, and the sound travelled between rooms (tv sounds and dog).

The location of the property was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views that showcased the town beautifully. Its central position made it convenient to access everything nearby. From my window, I enjoyed a perfect panorama, with sunrises and sunsets that felt like living in a painting.
