The rooms are good, clean, and very adequate.

The restaurant meals were not great. The starter was enough for a family of four! I couldn't eat any of it. The main course, steak, was previously cooked and reheated. The chips were also reheated and very sad looking. We had cheese and quince jelly to finish. Nothing like expected!! This came with a bottle of wine for two and coffee. I would have been happy with one choice presented properly. It was cheap, but I would have paid more for a better service.

Comfortable, clean, friendly hotel, good service, very helpful staff and food was good. Dog friendly and we were allowed to take our pet into the bar area where we could order restaurant food. We had. Room on the third floor which was served by a lift so perfect for the dog.

Very little to complain about, other than we were traveling with a dog and the location of the hotel did not have anywhere suitable that we could walk our pet without it being littered with broken glass and rubbish. An enclosed area would be good for dogs to let them run around.

I can't believe this hotel has such a low score as I found it to be excellent. Coming through France and staying at hotels with a plastic cubicle shoved in the corner of the room and calling it a bathroom just did not compare with this similarly priced hotel. The room was huge, the bathroom was amazing with bath and bidet all spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and so was the pillow. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the hotel had a unique charm about it that I loved. Nice breakfast too the next morning. Secure parking and a nice friendly bar where a super beer went down a treat after a long day's drive. All in all an excellent value hotel 👍

Nothing at all

We visited this Hotel 12 years ago and found it to be a lovely place, with excellent helpful staff and great value for money, so we decided to try it again on our way back to Santander and I am pleased to say we were not disappointed. The hotel has been updated since our last visit and is a lovely place, excellent value for money and extremely helpful staff. In addition to this the parking is free and if you don't want to drive into Burgos there is a bus stop outside or a taxi will cost between €15-€20. We will visit again.

Everything about hotel was excellent from the welcoming reception to the facilities which were spotless! Good size room, great shower,lovely and warm as it was cold and raining ! Near the motorway but very quiet and a huge private carpark, in fact several people had trailers and one haD a boat.GREAT VALUE and restaurant .We had a three course meal for13.50 including wine.We will definitely stay here again as couldn't fault it for the price.

AREA AROUND HOTEL A LITLE RUNDOWN BUT DIDNT PUT US OFF! NOT AT ALL THREATENING

I have read the various bad reviews complaining about this and that, but get over it! The hotel doesn't pretend to be glamorous, just a straight forward place to use as a stopover and not cost a fortune. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed comfortable, the shower good and the staff helpful. The fixed price 3 course evening meal was first class (€15 including wine/water) and the breakfast plentiful.

The hotel is located on the edge of the industrial area of Burgos, about 7km from the cathedral and other tourist hotspots. But hey, it's just a kilometre from the motorway and the parking is free!

Just wish there was a mattress protector on the bed rather than a thin sheet straight on an oldish looking mattress . Also, the coffee machine in the morning was instant coffee and not real beans. I love a coffee first thing and this was disappointing

I got there a little early but got booked in straight away had a nice lunch was not able to go out because it was raining sat in the lounge had a drink price was good and comfortable dinner was a bit late for me 8.30 normally have it about 6 got to restaurant and it was busy about 100 people but sat down got my dinner almost no wait good food good wine then went to bed nice room and bed will stay there again

Good value and close to main route to Santander

There was a smell in the bedroom that was quite sickly, I got used to it and think it was a cleaning or pest control product . . . but not nice. I couldn't see any fire escape routes or instruction which in a high rise hotel was a little unnerving due to some slight mobility issues. Small things but otherwise really good 👍

Nice spacious room and bathroom with bathtub to soak in after a blustery walk. Food served at restaurant was delicious; Castilian soup and rabbit stew, wow. Easy checkin/out by friendly helpful staff who spoke good English. Great value over all. Many pilgrims avoid this route to Burgos and use prettier river path. This route has wide walking path and lined by warehouses and light industrial factories. Although not pretty it’s not dangerous and it was interesting to see how some of Spain’s economy is being served.
