Helpful and kind staff, who gave us extra blankets and pillows when we asked. nice facilities for the money. While it wasn’t in the Barcelona area, the area around it was nice and transport to Barcelona center was close and easy. Comfortable bed and room, particularly if just spending the night there and days exploring Barcelona or Badalona. Badalona beach was nicer than Barcelona beach. Very comfortable stay, would stay again.

Room could have been cleaned a bit more and room could benefited from a mini fridge.

Hotel was enough close to the metro station(about 20 min by walking).A bus station right in front of the hotel.Cleanness, room size, facilities all were good.Breakfast was excellent.

Everything was excellent: the kindness of the staff, good breakfast, the good conditions in the room: cleaning every day, good pressure of the water at the shower, strong power of the hair dryer, good position of the hotel (near the metro station), it doesn't exist the bad smell of sewage, coming from the bathroom, as I read in the.reviews of the other people for the locations of the center of Barcelona or as we felt when we walked in some places of the center of Barcelona, good restaurants with good food in the neighbourhood. We'll come back to Barcelona and to hotel Ibis Santa Coloma.

The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the metro which takes you straight to the city centre. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. The room was basic-as expected, but it was clean and the beds were very comfortable. I fell asleep straight away after a long day out exploring the city. Breakfast was really nice with a good selection to suit everyone. The staff member who did the breakfast shifts this week was very kind and welcoming. The hotel is located in a suburb, surrounded by lots of local places to eat. We spent an evening walking around the neighbourhood and had one of the best experiences, seeing the locals live the traditional Mediterranean life! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is on a budget and just needs a clean, comfy room to sleep in as well as a delicious breakfast!

Good value for the price keeping into account the prices in Barcelona. Pretty clean, quiet and accesible to Metro and other transportation. Good location among locals, looks safe, a lot of restaurants and shops around.

There is no minibar (even empty), so no cooling for your own beverages if that is the case. The room is small but overall decent. Pretty far from the city but Metro is available and gets you there easy. No balcony in our case if that is needed by the guest.

The room was wide enough, very clean. The staff in the reception (especially Miguel) was very nice and helpful. We were able to check in earlier, which was great and to leave our luggage in a special storage room after checking out. The breakfast was sufficient.

The only disadvantage was the distance to the center of the city. If the hotel was closer, it would have been the perfect accommodation. The neighborhood was calm, there was a nice playground near it, and a supermarket and some cafeterias 5 minutes away. The metro station is in 8-10 minutes and you get to Plaça Catalonia in about 30 minutes. The airport (El Prat) is 1 hour away.

When booking, I chose this hotel because at the time the hotel blurb on Booking.com included a "flag" claiming to be 500m from the centre! Well, Booking.com, yes it is 500m from the centre, the centre of Santa Coloma, not the centre of Barcelona!!! As a very sympathetic staff member said when I commented on the lengthy Metro journey to get there, "That's marketing!" So to all prospective Booking users - read the small print!

This hotel is everything you need. It's an Ibis with standard offer, but upgraded with nice and helpful staff, abundant breakfast, every day room cleaning. Price is manageble for Barcelona, but so is the service. Parking is available for 12 eur/day in underground garage, reachable directly. It is cca 10 min walking from Metro station Santa Coloma, Red L1, in 20 min you are in centre. Great value for money and the best Ibis we stayed in (and we've been a lot)🙂

I liked the comfy bed, and the clean bathroom. Standard Ibis hotel franchise. I liked that they changed my room after a leakage in my room and upgraded me to a city view.

The breakfast was too simple that there is no differences from day to day, and the location you need to walk for 10 minutes to get to the metro station.

Air con that actually is cool. Comfortable and spacious room and bathroom. For a solo traveller space is just enough. Comfortable bed although I did have to shift the mattress in place because it felt like the bottom bit and the mattress don’t align

No kettle in room. Meaning that a hot water drinker like me (I don’t drink tap water or cold water) had to constantly go down stairs to the bar to ask for 2 cups of hot water at a time and almost scalded myself carrying them back to the room. Also, no fridge in room but as this was not a proper holiday, I did not go shopping and could not buy any food to take home which required the fridge
