For a hostel stay it exceeded my expectations. Staff was courteous and the location in Placa de Flor was amazing. I'm tall but I still managed to sleep. People were coming in and out frequently but they were friendly. Everyone was respectful. Free water and coffee with regular air-conditioning made it all comfortable. When I asked for extra towels it was given to me. Plenty of toilets and showers to use at any time as well.

The doors leading to the rooms needs some maintenance - I hurt my finger whilst closing it. Sticks of wood come out. I'm sure this should be fixed soon as well. The issue of the hostel depends mostly of the guests coming in an out. It's a collective effort - some young people don't know how to properly clean, or keep things organised. So that's not the hostel's fault.

Although check-in was an automated system, there was a pleasant young lady in the work area who gave us our room key. We adored the location overlooking the square (may not suit everyone) with its many restaurants and busy life, Our double room had everything we needed and a mini balcony. Public underground parking was just opposite and we were just a few minutes from the sea front. In the "work" area we enjoyed free coffees and chatted with several interesting guests on the comfy chairs. For a hostel, we were pleasantly surprised. The town was kept clean.

We didn't mind, but beware of all-night noise from people walking about until the dustmen arrive around 5am, especially over a summer weekend.

A very clean, quiet hostel. Beds were comfy, small kitchen area with fridge, microwave and kettle with enough crockery. Small lounge, could do with a comfy sofa or chair. Free coffee and water in reception but no milk. Enjoyed my stay, would stay again. Good location in a square with lots of eating places and about 20 min walk from bus and train stations. Good supermarkets nearby.

Had a nice room, with fresh towels daily and our bed was nice, soft and made fresh every day which exceeded my expectations! Had a solid check in and the location was perfect! The plaza in front of the hotel is a plaza with some terraces and restaurants, they have a good relaxed vibe in the centre of the city! I will definitely come and stay here again in a future visit

Apart from many negative experiences described in the comments, I have had a marvelous stay in this hostel. Checking in was smooth and easy, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC is brand new. The bathroom is small, but at least you don't share it with anyone, so it really doesn't matter. Free coffee was a big plus, and to say the least - I am extremely satisfied with everything.

Great location. Nice quiet rooms on the main plaza for old Tarragona. The room is very clean, they are cleaned daily and the bed sheets are changed. Perfect base for visiting the monuments, beach and nightlife in Tarragona. We enjoyed our stay here and will visit again in the future..

Great location close to the old town. Check in and out was super easy as it is all automated. Complimentary coffee and water in the common area. Room was small but perfect for one person.

No elevator so be prepared to climb several flights of stairs. Facilities were a little dated but fair for the price paid.

Housekeeping entered my room while I was sleeping, it was around 11 am. There should be a sign do not disturb so I could place on the door To avoid this The water from the shower wasn't draining well so everytime there was a bit of mess after taking a shower.

Great location, bed was good, room got cleaned daily and in general the room was clean.

You could easily hear other guests but during the nights it was quiet luckily. Through the rooster in the bathroom you could look into the other room of other guests so a bit of a privacy concern.

The room was very spacious and had excellent cleaning service for the price. The check in and check out was extremely simple and the coffee/water station was a lifesaver. This place was at an amazingly central location and the price can’t be beat for all the great qualities of our stay. I would definitely recommend and come back again!
