The second night at the restaurant was much improved on the Tuesday night. Massages and facials were amazing. Quietness of the place and pool area was very much appreciated. All staff were very happy to help, except fist night at restaurant.

Service at our first evening at the restaurant, we never saw our server again after we gave our orders for entrees, main meals at 8h15pm.we had to asked others. Waiting when others were being served before us.

Excellent place to stay. It does literally have everything - comfort, elegance, nice facilities, quiet and clean. The staff members are very nice and helpful and the restaurant offers high quality food. The breakfast they offer was of the highest quality. Overall, it is a perfect place to stay for a few days up to a week. More than that, there is not too much to do in the area, apart from a walk around the area, if it is not too hot.

The spa prices are much higher than average. The restaurant and bar area, could do better with some variety of entertainment.

Room & location

Breakfast - 2 cold + 2 Hot Breakfasts - It said on menu 1 hot and 1 desert each Neither my husband or myself wanted the desert So I asked for the salmon on toast with a poached egg , which as i wasn't or my husband having the desert included in the price was a reasonable request. However was bluntly refused It was therefore dry !! I think a bit of common sense and a customer satisfaction was needed. The bar and receiption staff were excellent the breakfast lady however was not friendly I personally felt! The spanish ommlette was also dry that my husband had. Such a bad end to what was up to breakfast (lovely dinner night before) a lovely stay!!!

Absolutely perfect. The lake and surroundings are stunning. Went for a 3 day destress break and the team that work here - reception, bar and restaurant are outstanding .. they work so hard and are so helpful and make it a memorable stay Wonderful bedroom overlooking the lake. Lovely bath and shower and honey products. Amazing food - had a lot of lunches and two dinners and the dishes were exceptional - the fish - salmon and sea bass were my favourite. The reception team are incredible Thank you for an amazing stay

You have to pay 1 euro if coffee capsules for the machine in your room after you use the first two complimentary ones. They should be refilled every day and included in the room rate

The staff were amazing and very prefessional. The Spa therapists were so good and attentive, room was great and clean, the restaurant and the menu absolutly amazing!! Location is very peaceful and I LOVE this place!!

The room was great but they don't have any mini bar, there is fridge and small water is provided but nothing else, also nothing else. They also do not provide any kettle in the rooms and only coffee machine but the restaurant staff were very helpful and provided hot water when I needed it for a tea. The spa is managed a bit too rigid, we had 1 hour of circuits, after 55 minutes the cleaner were there to clean despite we had booked massages for me and my friends but no facility were provided for us to relax before our treatments. I had other treatments in other days and when I was having my mud treatment, doors were opened and closed very loudly and as relaxing the treatment were the ambiance was ruined due to the noises!!

We stayed here for a family wedding and the place was beautiful, the food was exceptional and the staff who served us were excellent. The hotel staff were great before arrival and helped with arranging taxis from Málaga airport (about 45 mins, €90 away). The wedding itself was amazing in every way and the staff and food was a big part of that. An absolutely stunning venue with spectacular views.

The only downside was it took us 45 minutes to check in. Partly due to several parties arriving at the same time and partly due to their being only one person on the reception. The hotel was wonderful and perfect for the event we were here for but for anyone wanting something else there is nothing around the hotel and it's a bit of a trek if you want something outside of the hotel.

The hotel was clean, quiet, in nice enviroment, room clean, hotel is nicely designed and located in a beautiful surrounding nature.

1. Parking is pretty far from the reception and the trolley used for the luggage transfer is really horrible! 2. When you arrive to 4* hotel and the first words of the receptionist is "What do you want!" with no smile and no saying at least "Good afternoon" .. .it does not make a good impression at all. And, unfortunately, it is creating the picture about the rest of the staff working in the hotel. In our case, there was just one lady on the reception with such attitude, the rest of the staff was friendly and helpfull all the time. 3. Close to the hotel is the lake, so you have a good chance to meet a lot of hungry mosquitos in the room. Receition is not providing the anti-mosquitos spray or repellent, so ... take it with you!

What can I really say about the hotel? It has everything you need for a perfect and relaxing time away from reality! All the staff are fantastic and extremely helpful. Facilities are modern and clean with no issues what so ever. The pool area is spotless and more than well kept as well as the entire grounds of the hotel. The restaurant is superb! The food on offer and the quality is second to none. The entire grounds are an absolute sun trap so you have constant sun shining all day as well as specially placed shaded areas for people wanting to get out of the rays for a while. The pricing of food and drink is exceptionally low for the quality and standard of the hotel! I came for a wedding but spent 2 days as a lone traveller and it felt like a home to be honest. It was just the most perfect location. Highly recommend and I will be back for certain!

The only thing I can say is that the closest shop/supermarket is a 45 minute walk. So you do need a car if you want to venture away from the hotel further than a small village where the super market is. The local taxis are very few and far between so that could be something the hotel looks into. Other than that it's amazing!

Excellent staff. Friendly and helpful. Spa was really good, best massage I've ever had (gracias Jose). Lovely terrace with ground floor room.

Dinner. Surroundings and staff great but food let it down. Breakfast was excellent though.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was so comfortable and warm. So important for the winter months. The Spa is small and private. Jose the Massuere is amazing. So healing. Everything about the hotel is special. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal super delicious. The gardens very beautiful and lovelyviews of the lake. Staff lovely and very efficient. Nothing was too much trouble.

Everything was wonderful.
