The hotel is remote so if your after like us peace and quite , this is definitely the place to be.The staff were very helpful and friendly, the hotel was well maintained, the pool and areas around it were spotless. We tried some food we had not eaten before ,some of which we liked very much like the pigs cheek and ratatouille. The burger with goats cheese and caramelised onion was delicious . We were happy with the food menu on the whole. The views on our walks were outstanding. Unfortunately we didn't get to see the wildlife that frequent the hotel in the evenings, but hopefully we will the next time we visit

We had a wonderful time at hotel humaina. The room was spacious, very clean and beautiful. The staff is very kind and always helped us with a smile. We enjoyed spending the evening around the burning fireplace with a cup of tea after hiking. The food in the restaurant wasn't top tier, it was just okay. They were so kind to make one of the meals vegan for me, which is rare in off grid places. My partner had a meat based meal and we both thought the food was just okay. But then again, the food is not the reason one would stay here. The reason is the beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous looking hotel

Great place to stay! If you like to be in nature, hiking, pleasant atmosphere and nature sounds more than humans - this place is for you :) Very friendly personal, nice room with balconies, easy breakfast could be included, parking included. Best recommendations!

A little bit tricky to find it. Navigation went us in a wrong way, so it was a little bit challenging to find. But later on we found the signs to the hotel and they were very useful indeed! Please follow the signs and you will be in the right direction:)

The scenery and location of the hotel. We saw a wild boar with babies from our bedroom window. Lots of hot water. Although there is a sign in the bathroom which says that the water is 'not potable'. If it wasn't for its location it would be a 7

Splashes of paint all over the floor tiles. The water in the ensuite could not be used for drinking. It was signed ' non potable'. No bottled water was offered. Breakfast is 9 euros a person and l think the choices on offer are meagre for that price.

It’s location is stunning, in national park. We really liked the property and think it has so much potential. The staff didn’t speak the best English but we worked everything out easy enough. They were very kind and helpful

I’m giving a 10 out of ten simply because I like the location and its wildlife, also the staff. But there were a few things that could make this stay perfect. My bed was very hard with hard pillows The hotel is remote, and only have meals available at certain times of the day, so if you’ve traveled after having breakfast you won’t eat until 8pm. I’d like to suggest a small selection of snacks that could be eaten, and drinks etc,, extra revenue 👍 What ever you do don’t use Google maps to find it, you will end up in the back of beyond lol. It is sign posted on the way.

I like that’s in the middle of a forest, surrounded by trees and wild boars:)

There was no free drinking water available on site and the description of the hotel doesn’t warn travellers to bring drinking water with themselves, instead they are charging 1€ for a small bottle of water. They also charged 8€ for the dog, this 8€ wasn’t stated on the booking site either.

We like nature, the national parc is beautiful. The hotel is peaceful and pretty.

I was not aware about the time it takes to Málaga etc: at least an hour! . Of course it is because of the curves. In the advert they tell you that the location of the hotel is in Cuidad Jardin.... and I thought that is where is the entrance of the botanical garden...but the hotel is way up in the mountains. Anyway, the experience was good.

I booked this for much-needed time alone. It was described as a place to disconnect from the trappings of modern life. This was exactly what I found. The peace is complete, the quiet deep and continued. The staff are more than hospitable, I cannot commend it highly enough. Though I'm reluctant as I don't want this place to be overrun with tourists! Be aware that there are creatures that appear from the woods. Foxes, wild boars. They are part of the location and quite safe as long as they're left to their own devices. Cyclists, hikers, those seeking to heal... It's an unmissable place to stop for a while.

Sometimes (being high up) the WiFi disappeared. Even this was part of being outside the usual facilities which so restrict and confine us

The 3rd time we've been to this hotel which we love for its tranquility. There have been several improvements since last year eg some decorating, new furniture and a lovely new walk-in shower. The staff are the same: always smiling and ready to help. Best of all our little dog is welcome there.

Although there is nothing wrong with the food, it is traditional Spanish and something a bit different on the menu would be nice. We don't eat postres at home but we do in hotels and always appreciate the casera ones.

"On our journey, we stayed one night in this charming little hotel. The location is wonderful for those seeking peace and quiet. The rooms are tidy and the interior is charming, exactly what you expect from a small hotel. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a nice dinner in the evening at a very reasonable price. The breakfast is basic, everything you need to start the day well, also at a great price. We will definitely return!"
