Really nice building, large villa. Nice outside area and pool for cooling down. The honesty bar was good to have. The room and bed are very comfortable .We loved the quiet location and yet only 10 minutes walk to the beach area. Málaga centre was a short bus journey away Buses very plentiful and very reasonable especially if you bought a prepaid card . The staff were very helpful.

The breakfast was fine but when staying for 7 nights it would be nice to have more variety. But that's just a minor quibble. The pool was good but could do with a touch up cosmetically .

The property is located in a very quiet neighborhood a little bit outside of the city centre of Malaga but still central - about 20 mins with the bus (including the walk to the station) . The patio is really beautiful and cozy to stay during the day. The rooms are really really clean and are decorated very nice. Beds are comfy as well and our bathroom was renovated / looked very very new and modern. Breakfast had everything that you would need and it tasted really good, maybe a little bit more veggies would have been nice but thats just our preference. Eggs were made freshly with or without bacon as well as coffee. Everything tasted really good. There are only 7 rooms which makes it cozier and more familiar. Naomi and her colleagues helped us with everything and even prepared us a little picknick, because we were not able to get breakfast one day. We would definetly come again and we would recommend to come here. Thank you Naomi and your colleagues!

Charming definitely describes this Villa. Nice location a bit away from the busy areas. We had one of the smaller rooms but the balcony was huge and so relaxing to sip coffee or wine! The grounds are lovely! We rented bicycles on site for a reasonable cost and rode to the beach and along the beach walk. So very convenient to be able to rent there. The location is perfect and so close to the beach and a very easy walk to the other areas. Would definitely stay again!!

We didnt realized we had paid for breakfast in our booking.. and had flier in our room saying breakfast was 15 euro (?) per person. So we didnt go downstairs. When we asked the receptionist about breakfast for the next day, she told us we had breakfast included but we missed it by 5 minutes! She offered us a cup of coffee instead. Our only wish was that the flier in our room reminded us it was prepaid.

Loved being in a converted villa in a prestigious residential area. The rooms were very nice although small. It was good to have a balcony and we liked the communal garden and pool, which we had to ourselves. The breakfast was good. We did have trouble getting into the property - no manned reception after 2 pm. This was our fault to some degree as we didn't find the instructions to access the property, via a code, until a while after we arrived. We had tried ringing the contact number but no one came back to us, so it was just as well we found the entry instructions. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk to the nearest main road and access to buses/promenade/shops.

We had a really great stay, and only wished we could have taken more advantage of staying IN the villa! It’s a simple place but complete. You have a comfortable bed, a decent shower and toilet, a closet, and some storage. Towels, soap, and hair dryer also provided. Naomí kindly packed us a “picnic” (breakfast) for the 2 days we left the hotel very early, because breakfast is only from 8:30-10:30. Meanwhile, Adriana was amazing on the remaining mornings we actually got to eat breakfast at the hotel. The offerings are simple: cereal, yogurt, fruit, pastry, cold cuts. You also get the option of eggs and bacon. Coffee, tea can be requested as often. This place is great if you’d like to stay close to the beach, walking distance. To get into the old town/city, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the bus stop plus another 10-15 minute bus ride depending on traffic.

It’s not ideal if you’ll be doing day trips where you have to leave very early and get back quite late. If your meeting points/drop-off points are in the city centre, it’ll be about 20-30mins additional travel time. We did 2 day trips and were very exhausted with this set-up - BUT that’s not the fault of the property! Just something for those booking to consider!

The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room and communal areas of the villa were exceptionally clean at all times. Breakfast was nice. The grounds were beautiful with comfortable seating and a lovely refreshing pool. The location was in a quiet residential area but only a short walk to buses which took you into the centre of Málaga and easy connection to the train to the airport. Absolutely loved the recommendation for adults only!

The Apartment is situated in a calm area, 10-15 min walk to the beach. Its very Clean, staff is very friendly. Breakfast is served like small buffet, eggs of choice you like fresh prepared, juice and also coffee/tea upon your prefered taste. If you are lucky, you catch free parking in the surrounding streets.

The check in Process is a bit complicated. You need to observe this doing in advance to receive the Door code and room box code. The rooms are not too spacy but sufficient but one or two coat hocks would help to Organize clothes better.

Villa Lorena in Málaga is a charming place to stay, with a cozy room and a spacious balcony perfect for enjoying the Mediterranean vibe. The location is unbeatable—right in one of the best spots in the city. While the toilet could have used a little more attention, the overall experience was fantastic. The real standout? The breakfast. Hands down, one of the best we’ve ever had during a hotel stay—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. There’s also a nice pool outside, which looked very inviting, though we didn’t brave it since it was December. And we can’t forget Naomi, the villa’s manager and the reason for this 10 star review. She was an absolute gem, always friendly and ready to assist with anything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Highly recommended!

The toilet wasn’t quite winning any cleanliness awards

We had a lovely 4-night stay. Lovely room, great breakfast, everything very clean and in good order. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant neighbourhood, with a good selection of restaurants etc about 10-15 minutes’ walk away. The centre of Malaga is a bit further, but there is a good bus service or a 30-45 minute easy walk into the centre. There is also an excellent cycle path along the sea front, leading to the centre and bikes can be rented from the hotel. Extremely friendly and helpful service from Naomi, who did an amazing job of handling reception, breakfast service etc..

Naomi was very friendly and extremely helpful. She helped us with finding our way to different attractions and booking taxis.

The breakfast was OK . Not much choice and the hot breakfast offering was limited. The furniture in the breakfast/reception area wasn't very attractive , white plastic, would have bee better placed in the garden Naomi was the only member of staff on duty, she was cooking, serving breakfast and managing the reception desk with departures at the same time. The bedroom was very small and the so was the bathroom and shower cubicle
