The room was spacious, the terrace a good size, the bed very comfortable. the bathroom and shower excellent - generally the room was first-rate. The breakfast had a great choice of options and the staff very attentive. The location too was great - close to the seafront, beach bars etc - and buses into the centre regular and cheap.

There could have been better storage facilities in the room eg drawers. TV choice limited for English speakers - strange that Fox News was one of the few available - very biased, prejudiced channel! No BBC, Sky, CNN or Al Jazeerah! Would have liked a rowing machine in the Fitness Suite. The bar was not open in the evenings so no chance for a night cap upon the return from town.

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. The location is simply gorgeous. There is a very good beach across the road. It's a 15-20 minute walk to the center. As for the hotel itself: the staff is nice, speaks English. We arrived before check-in and were able to leave our suitcases at the hotel and go for a walk. The room was nice, with a sea view. The buffet breakfast was delicious.

As for the shortcomings of the room, I would advise hanging the round mirrors near the bed lower (I am 1.65 tall and couldn't even see my face in them), the light near the mirror in the bathroom only illuminates the top of the head (you can't see your face, it's impossible to put on makeup), I would advise putting a toilet brush near the toilet, soap and shampoo dispensers require physical strength (not very comfortable and fast), the rubber seal of the shower stall let water through, which is why there was a puddle of water on the bathroom floor after the shower.

We were very impressed by the Soho Boutique Las Vegas - it was more than we expected. The location was excellent - we could go on the beach, just across the road from the garden exit, use the swimming pool and garden where there was a bar/restaurant and on the beach side, there was a fantastic seafood restaurant - with the sound of the waves accompanying our dinner - it was the perfect location, just minutes away from the hotel. We walked about 20 minutes to the beautiful pedestrianised centre of this lovely town, near to the Roman fort to see the Picassos - so memorable. back to the hotel for a swim and a laze by the pool with drinks supplied by the bar. Our room, upgraded to include a sunny balcony with sea view - was marvellous - with air con easy to use - we were comfortable all night long. We are not breakfast eaters, so coffee in our room was just what we wanted. A two night stay in Malaga made excellent by the Soho Boutique Las Vegas! Thank you!!

Room size was generous which allowed the twin beds not to have to be too close to each other. We thoroughly enjoyed having the balcony with its chairs. Lovely to have a coffee machine in the room and fresh capsules every day. The housekeeping did a great job each day.

Location of the hotel is not very close to city centre even if it was easy to get there by bus. Or even walk. The only thing I missed was a tissue box in the bathroom.

Excellent location, easy to walk to everything. Comfortable bed. Balcony. Friendly helpful staff. Please lounge area with pool.

The bathroom wasn't as clean as it should have been. There was a problem with the water heater but staff fixed it as quickly as possible. Sink drain was slow.

The poolside is amazing, you could relax there all day! It’s also really good that from 1:00 pm the kitchen is open for meal orders like sandwiches and pizza. The breakfast offers big variety of sweets and savoury and a big advantage is that it’s open until 11:00 am. The bed is absolutely huge as well!!!

Not a particular downside but the bathroom could use some renovation, it doesn’t look very appealing. A bath’d be great too!!! Also, for some the fact that there’s no room service available might be a thing, however, the night supermercado is open until 3:00 am each night and is only a 5-min walk away.

Sea front, spacious rooms, clean. Buffet breakfast.

Thought the bar could do with a bit of an update.

The staff work very hard and were all very professional. The breakfast was in the main very good and the staff kept all areas very clean and tidy. The hotel is well located across the road from the beach and beach bars It’s only a short walk to the new port and a longer walk or cheap bus ride into the historic part of the centre and its restaurants etc. The garden is a nice place to relax and chat. It is close to an excellent supermarket. The lifts are good. We were on floor 6 so needed to use the lifts but we never seemed to wait very long for this. It was nice to have a good view of the sea and beach.

The lack of a bar in the evenings was a real disappointment and meant that the hotel lacked atmosphere once the pool bar was closed. The noise from traffic whilst in the garden was annoying at times. The pool was very cold. The bedroom lacked storage ( no drawers at all) The hot breakfast eg bacon and scrambled eggs were not hot enough. The hotel is a little tired in places.

We were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the pool. It was spacious and well maintained with what looked like a recently installed wet room. It may have been an accessible room (though we didn’t ask for one) as there was a huge shower with no curtains or screen. There was always plenty of hot water. It was kept spotless all week. The beds were very comfortable although it was two beds adjacent not a double. The temperature was about right for the weather (wet!). The room was large and there would have been room for some comfortable chairs but it only had deck chairs on the terrace. We had a premium room which included a coffee maker but we had to ask for additional pods; reception provided a kettle. Service at reception was a bit cool but always helpful when you needed assistance. Breakfast was staffed by cheerful waiters and well provided. There was plenty of choice of continental breakfast. The coffee was not bad for hotel machine coffee. The location is good, right by the beach (well across the busy road). As other people have said there was a fair amount of traffic noise but I think most hotels in Malaga would suffer from noise from roads or visitors. It is about 15 minutes walk to the centre and there is a really good bus service past the door. At the moment you can get a Bonobus card from a kiosk (there’s one towards the centre from the hotel) and it costs you 42 cents per ride. We used it a lot including to go to the Botanical gardens. There are several restaurants in the locality if you don’t want to eat in the centre. There is supposed to be an airport transfer but the driver was unavailable when we needed it.

There was a ‘hot’ breakfast but we found it was never very warm and the scrambled eggs had a strange granular texture and no taste like they were made from powdered egg. It is quite noisy in the hotel due to the hard floors. You couldn't actually hear what people were saying but you were aware that people were talking next door and if people didn't take their shoes off it was quite annoying. The hotel décor was a kind of bohemian minimalist quite attractive but also a bit cold. There is a bar/lounge which is the only place to sit in poor weather but was underused with little atmosphere.

Breakfast was very nice in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean, comfortable and had spectacular sunrise views over the ocean. Although it was Christmas it was warm enough to enjoy the beach which is located just a few steps away.

Lots of traffic noise outside (not in the rooms). The scrambled eggs at breakfast are without a doubt the worst I've ever tasted. Probably the worst the planet has to offer. Yuck! Throw that rancid powdered cr.. p out. Eggs + milk a bit of salt it's not complicated.
