Amazing location. Very comfortable and quiet room. Great breakfast. Friendly staff.

We had a late flight, arriving after 9pm. We had informed the hotel in advance as required. Despite checking in on line and giving all passport details when we arrived at the hotel it was all locked up and no one there to answer the door. We phoned the given number and the member of staff had no knowledge of our booking and could not find it on the system. However she gave us the number of the key safe which we opened to find an envelope with my name on, with our keys inside! A very worrying few minutes. The mix up could not be explained!

A clean, fresh, snug room (with a view), comfy beds, smart TV, kettle, polite and helpful staff, lovely breakfast with a good variety of choice and location that would be hard to beat if you’re looking for a historic town experience. Watching the sun rise from behind the Roman ruins while lying in bed (though only the window side) was gorgeous!

Early morning coffee for two was tricky (Only one sachet each of Nescafé and decaf provided in the room, outside breakfast hours there is a coffee pod dispenser for use in the communal nespresso machine but the €1 a pod is a challenge for the cashless, and, on a Saturday morning, buying a 6am caffeine hit from one of the nearby coffee sellers isn’t an option, none are open - but who can blame them!)

Don't hesitate to book this hotel. It was very comfortable. The location was fantastic right near lots of sites e.g. Teatro Romano, Calle Larios for shopping, Churches, Picasso Museum and more, lovely restaurants on the street and streets behind. There was a very handy taxi rank at the top of the street. The room was very comfortable. There was a lovely relaxing area common if you wanted to sit there in the evenings. Even though it is on a busy street the sound proof was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in was easy after they closed. Tea / Coffee making in the room was very handy and replenished everyday.

The lock on the inside of the door was a bit strange. It was electronic and I just felt it would be hard to open fast in a fire situation. A shower cap would be a nice addition.

A Wonderful Stay in the Heart of Málaga We had a very comfortable and clean stay at Hotel Teatro Romano. Our room was initially a little warm, but the hotel staff quickly adjusted the air conditioning, making it the perfect temperature. The location is unbeatable—right in the centre of Málaga, directly overlooking the Roman Theatre and the Alcazaba. You can open the windows to soak in the lively atmosphere of the bustling town. The hotel offers free WiFi and a large TV, adding to the convenience. They also provide luggage storage for early arrivals and after checkout, which was especially helpful for us since our flight was later in the day. A great choice for a city break!

Great location. Easy walk everywhere. Staff was very helpful answering all my questions and helping me figure out the nuances of the room safe. The double pane windows were amazing. My room overlooked a really busy and loud restaurant, but once I shut the windows I could not hear a thing! The room was a bit warm for my liking so I left the windows open during the day to cool it down. I did sometimes smell someone smoking on the street just below me but the smell did not linger. By the time I arrived back to my room in the evening I did not smell anything. I would stay there again.

The room was too hot for me the first night. The next day I asked if they could turn the heat down, which they did from the front desk area. It was better but still too warm for me. I told them the next morning and they said I could also turn it down from my room. My fault for not looking for a thermostat in the room. But it would have been nice if that was communicated to me when they turned it down from the front desk.

Location of hotel is very good, close to the centre and with a good selection of restaurants and bars around. Our room was very nicely decorated and the bathroom was small but had everything we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly, especially the lady that checked us in

Breakfast was ok, but at 11 euros pp we would go out next time. One of the other guests with us said that, even with both the interior voile and exterior grey blind, her night was disturbed by bright lights outside the hotel - possibly from El Pimpi restaurant? Remember your sleep mask

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, we arrived early for check-in and we had our luggage taken care of as well as given a room to change / freshen up before heading back out into Malaga. Our room was beautifully clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The location was also perfect as well as it being quiet through the night. From previously staying in Malaga, we know the noise on a weekend can be really loud until the very early hours but that wasn’t a problem for us this time around!

Had breakfast one morning and it was excellent. Plenty of choice with orange juice, cereals pastries and fruit. Price per person was €11 which was really good value.

Strange lock on inside of bedroom door which really should have been explained by reception. It would only have taken a few minutes - I was afraid I would be locked in. I have never seen such a lock on a hotel room. I didn’t like that reception was unmanned in the night. However I suppose price of hotel which was very good reflected that.

We loved the hotel location, and our room was small but perfect for a short stay. Very lucky to have had the only corner room in the hotel. It had all the basic essentials, such as a kettle and hairdryer. The quadruple glazing kept all the street noise out. The double blinds kept the room dark enough. Breakfast was good. I loved the Nesspresso machine and the crunchy fresh bread rolls.

The beds were way too basic and made too much noise as one moved. A mini fridge would have been very useful. The breakfast could have had hot options such as scrambled eggs, bacon, and hot patatoes. The safe in the room was not bolted down! Too few coat hangers, only 6 altogether in our room.
