Loved the location, breakfast on roof terrace overlooking Alcazabar, helpful staff. Bed super comfy, room big enough.

Floor hadn't been swept when we arrived, staff sorted very quickly. Am a light sleeper so outside noise was difficult. Kettle in room would have been lovely. Would def consider staying again as the plusses were great!

High score mostly for the location as great location for a short break. Very close to the old town and about 20 mins walk to the beach. Friendly staff, especially on Reception. Very nice breakfast included in the room rate. Free bottles of water. Luggage store was very handy. Liked the overall style of the hotel.

Would have given 10/10 if the room had been set up better. We are a family of 4 and needed to use the sofa bed (as well as the 2 single beds) but this meant there was hardly any space to get past the sofa bed and very difficult to use the wardrobe as the bed was blocking it. We also couldn't use the drawers inside the wardrobe. The result was a very cluttered room for our 2 night stay. The room would have been great for just 2 people and I then would have given 10/10.

Being disabled, I found the 3 high marble steps at the entrance challenging. I had booked this hotel because of levels 4 and 5 - roof top breakfast are plus rooftop bar, but there were only high bar stools and no regular chairs in both so I could never sit outside at either. Very disappointing. Also our Suite with a view looked onto a noisy building site and busy road tunnel with a partial view of the Alcazaba behind. Disappointing too.But to be fair - its only the Suite room which has the view of tunnel and building site, the rest of rooms look on to side streets

A lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic location. The staff were excellent, particularly the gentleman serving in the breakfast room. Food was very good too. It was genuinely accessible for disabled people which doesn't always happen across European cities.

Very noisy. We were there over a weekend and the noise from the street woke us repeatedly which is not very surprising. However a bigger problem was internal noise : all doors banging and squeaking, sounds of metal trolleys from very early morning. We were on the first floor near the lift and a storage room so perhaps other rooms would not be so effected.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The room was very comfortable, offering a stunning view of the castle, which added a magical touch to our experience. The location was perfect, situated right on a lovely pedestrian street and just a short walk from the water. It provided the ideal balance of privacy and relaxation, allowing us to fully unwind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and an unbeatable location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

If I had to suggest one minor improvement, it would be to offer slightly larger beds for enhanced comfort. Nevertheless, this small detail did not detract significantly from our overall positive experience.

The location if you want to be in the center of Malaga is perfect. It was really nice to have breakfast with a view of the Alcazaba right next to you. The staff was very polite and courteous especially during a very busy time (Semana Santa) when everyone is a bit frazzled. I booked very last minute so I didn't have high expectations, but it surpassed even the reviews. The room was extremely clean and well appointed. And considering the amount of street noise, there was very very little when the windows and shutters were closed.

If you have a room on the third floor, there is quite a bit of noise with furniture being dragged across the floor in the morning from the breakfast room which is above. In the afternoon and evening, there is also quite a queue of people trying to go into the bar and lounge on the top floor so using the lift was difficult at times due to crowding. The bar guests seemed oblivious to the fact that it was a hotel and there were guests. However, the noise throughout the building from this crowd was non-existent which was surprising.

The location was superb! Absolutely central and right at the heart of the town. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and attentive in all areas of the facility. We had been concerned that some of the reviews mentioned the noise but we did not experience any excessive noise in the evenings or mornings. Would have no issue with staying here again.

Breakfast was fine but I would have liked a little more variety. Also there were no cups (only glasses) provided in the room so we didn't make any tea / coffee. In fairness we didn't check if these glasses were suitable (or if cups were available) as we tended to have coffee while out and about.

The staff were lovely, this one receptionist in particular went above and beyond to help me when i'd lost my passport, call my previous hotel to locate it, she was also super kind about it and made feel very comfortable when i was slightly embarrased The room was super cute! Small but lovely It had a stunning window with shutters that opened

My bathroom shower support had broken so it was just resting on the shelf so it was really difficult to shower I was on the first floor and the street noise at night was super loud

Hotel was situated in the centre of the older part of Malaga. Plenty choices of eating places within walking distance of the hotel. Easy access to quaint lanes and historical landmarks. Excellent view of the Castle from our window. Room was a good size spotless with ample storage space. Beds were comfortable with good quality linen which was changed during our week’s stay. Staff were welcoming and eager to answer questions. The reception desk has a member of staff at hand twenty four hours daily.

Only one thing would have liked a small kettle in the room.

The Alcazaba Premium Hotel is in an excellent location right in the heart of the old town. Enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace overlooking the Alcazaba was delightful and being so close to the entrance was very useful as we were able to be one of the first in the morning to tour. The hotels close proximity to all of the action; tapas bars, shops and sites was perfect. Do not miss the Picasso Museum!! The room was fine and the bed was comfortable.
