The location in great, just shortly outside the main city centre, for that reason the area is not overcrowded of tourists, it is between two hills and for people who likes to have a contact with nature, it is nice to walk up at the surrounding hills, the bonus is a fantastic view over Malaga. The house has a nice stile and decorated with taste and care. Short walk from Villa Alicia to plaza de la Merced.

It would be a plus if the place would have a common space with couch, a place to seat, read a book or play games, rather than seat in our own room. Of course may be in spring and summer is not need it, but we were there in January and the weather was colder and sometime rainy. The Wifi was very unstable. On the other hand the place is really beautiful, it was so relaxing to seat at the outside patio and enjoy all the nice plants and flowers.

It was very beautiful, clean and just perfect for our stay. The beds were really comfortable. It is in a perfect spot, not too far away from the centre. We decided to go to Gibraltar for one day and receptionist Emilia packed us a picnic which basically saved our day as it was enough food throughout the whole day. A big plus was Emilia, as she was always very helpful and lovely, recommended us places to go and answered our questions perfectly. We 100% recommend this guest house. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The guest house is beautiful, very authentic and in a quiet location. We had the room with a terrace balcony which was lovely and relaxing. Breakfast was very nice.

When we arrived, i had booked a room with a double bed. we were given the option of changing our room after 2 nights so we could hav a double bed instead of 2 single beds. The first room was lovely but very cold, the host did finally get the heater to work. The second room was also lovely but had a really bad stench coming from the toilet.

Well where can i start! This place was magical; far enough out of the old town to avoid the drone of the traffic but close enough to walk down in 5 to 10 minutes: The perfect location. As for the property it is beautiful; very well kept and with a real Spanish character. The outdoor sun terrace is lovely if you just want to sit and watch the world go by: The perfect building. As for the bedroom, WOW this blew me away, definitely the nicest room I have stayed in due to the incredible balcony, absolute luxury and with views to die for! The air con and very quiet ceiling fan were also a welcome bonus! The shower and bedroom area were well presented and immaculate: The perfect bedroom. All in all it was a privilege to stay in the Villa Alicia and the price was extremely reasonable for the quality of the residence: The perfect guest house!

I booked Villa Alicia for my parents and they really enjoyed their stay there. The guest house is in a very good location, close to Picasso house and museum. The guest house staff helped prebook a taxi from the airport for my parents, and then kindly helped them with their luggage - my parents are pensioners and we were concerned whether they would manage the stairs with their suitcases, so the help was very much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable and had a beautiful view, and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful. My parents were very happy about their stay and would visit again!

Very friendly and helpful staff and owner. Nice room on the street side with a pleasant outlook. Just a few minutes walk to the old city centre which was good in a nice area. Nice area at the front of the villa to eat breakfast or have an evening drink.

The location was good but although quiet during the day it could get a bit of late night traffic. Wouldn't put me off going again though.

Beautiful villa. A nice atmosphere with people who care about their guests. The area is quiet and close to the historic center. I had a bright room with a bathroom. Equipped with a kettle. There is also a fridge. Very clean. Rooms cleaned every day. Very comfortable bed. Tasty breakfasts in the form of a swedish buffet. If I come to Malaga again, I will gladly stay in this villa, where I felt at home.

Room was cleaned every day. We had our bathroom, small, but ok. Breakfast is not extra rich, but for a few days it's absolutely OK. And still there is a guest kitchen with a fridge, where you may do what you wish. This accommodation is perfect for an independent travellers. Quiet location, walking distance to center or playa (up to 30 minutes).

Just small detail (for locals normal, but for some others may be surprising). Breakfast is from 9 a.m., but when you come on time, it is being prepared, so you may start to eat at around 9:30. If you need to be somewhere on time, it may be a problém. But once we needed to go really earlier, we got a picnicking bag evening before.

The staff was very friendly and always available either by WhatsApp chat or down in reception during daytime hours. The room was clean and comfortable with everything you need like kettle , cutlery, soap

Only downside was maybe the lack of a working light on the balcony , no privacy film on bathroom window and confusion over the use of the washing machine . But all these things are small

Everything was fine, the lady from the reception always willingly helped us, when we needed breakfast packages, she prepared them for us in the room. The breakfast was excellent, the accommodation cozy, the colors and comfortable, we felt at home. Classic Spanish accommodation. ;)

The only thing I would criticize is the distance from the center, which was a little further, but on the other hand, the accommodation is in a quiet part, and for those who like to walk like us, it was a great morning walk.
