When I booked the accommodation, I thought it was an ApartHotel, i.e., a larger-than-usual hotel room with a kitchenette and seating area. However, it turned out to be a proper apartment in part of a residential block which the Hotel del Pintor had acquired. I morally object to using apartments which should be homes for local people as tourist accommodation, and would not have booked it if I had known this.

Location was excellent and the accommodation was quiet. Very comfortable bed and good shower. Lovely open deck on roof with comfy chairs/tables and sun loungers. Coffee for the first day and tea bags were available in the studio. Were advised that we could purchase additional coffee pods at hotel reception. Considering the price of the accommodation, a better suggestion would be to give the pods for the duration of the stay.

Although accommodation was modern and clean it was rather soulless. Keys and instructions need to be collected from the hotel which is about an 8 minute walk. Once inside its empty corridors and an unmanned desk. Room was not cleaned during our 4 night stay and feel that at least the towels could have been changed every couple of days. Only small coffee cups were available to make our tea in. Please provide large tea mugs. Parking was a real issue, we booked parking but due to road works and one way streets was impossible to get there. In the end we parked in a nearby 24/7 garage at Euros 24 per day versus Euros 19 at the apartments. Parking was one of the reasons to choose these apartments.

We loved the location, within walking distance of Malaga Old Town and it's many bars and cafes. It was a 10 minute walk down to the beach area and harbour/marina. The building was very clean and well kept. The apartment was quiet. The kitchen was well-equipped, the bathroom very clean. The bedroom and wardrobe space was ample for two people. There was a communal roof terrace with comfy seating.

The WiFi was a little weak. We did not know about the roof terrace until our stay was ending, which was a shame. If we had stayed longer we would have liked to use it for a change of scene

Hello! I really enjoyed my stay at Suites Del Pintor. The availability on messages was 100% , and so friendly and service minded. For a solo traveler, this was a great experience, and a very safe and peaceful place to stay. The whole appartment smelled nice, the terrasse was also clean and cozy. I got the most important room facilities that I wanted, and am very very happy :) The staff is also very friendly, and nice. Also best place location-wise , it is in sentrum and you can walk to everywhere within 20 minutes. Thank you so much for great customer service! Best regards ,

Although compact, the standard of cleanliness and the quality of fittings and fixtures was excellent, as to be expected as the property had been recently refurbished. It was good to have the nearby hotel associated with the property because that meant in the event of any difficulty there was always someone at reception. We could have, but didn't, have breakfast at the hotel but we did buy additional coffee pods there and all the staff we met were lovely and helpful. The apartments had a roof-top terrace (unstaffed) where you could relax either in or out of the sun - definitely a bonus.

We had a room that only faced out onto a (well-lit) internal courtyard. This wasn't a huge problem as we didn't spend much time indoors. However, if I was going again I would certainly opt for one of the apartments with outward facing windows. We also were slightly inconvenienced by having to pick the room keys up from the hotel, but this was probably our own fault as we didn't check in online and in any case the Hotel Del Pintor is only a couple of minutes walk away.

Everything was more than expected! Staff were friendly, apartment was excellent.

coffee maker didn't work! Minor issue! My bedroom was on the ground floor and every time any one entered or left the building in the evening the corridor lights came on. The curtains in my room were not thick, and I was disturbed every time the lights went on. There was a shutter on the outside of the window, but it didn't work. Otherwise no issues!

Location was excellent with short walk into old town and restaurants. Car parking security was excellent. Cleanliness excellent as were facilities.

When searching on booking.com I selected twin bed option but when my son and I got to the apartment there was only a double bed. Luckily there was sofa bed available so not really too much of an issue other than making bed up. Rather expensive but this was probably justified by quality. Main bedroom view could have been better but considering conversion of an older building it was acceptable.

Excellent location, super clean facilities, and very welcoming staff; Interior design is inviting and spacious. Perfect amount of space for travelers staying a few days.

The instructions for obtaining the key were easy to understand, I just made the mistake of not reading it thoroughly, and can be confusing for some. Main building is a very short walk from property (no more than 2-3 mins).

From checking in until checking out everything was first class. The staff were absolutely amazing and nothing was too much trouble for them. The place was absolutely spotless and the apartment was very modern with everything you could possibly need during your stay. Also the apartment was so so quiet and the bed was so comfortable, just perfect. We also enjoyed the roof terrace where we could relax in the sun when we took a few hours away from exploring the city. We would definitely 100% return when we come back to visit Malaga.

Nice place close to the center of the town. Have a good roof tops terrace. Clean and very quiet. Modern look of the apparent. All bar's and restaurants are walking distance from the apartment. The beach is about 30 min walking.

There are good ideas to have coffee machines and washing machines, but cannot agree to pay this price for room and not to have some capsules for the coffee machine or washing machine. The price for 10 capsules is about 5 euro, is not problem to buy by myself but if pay almost 200 euro per night should be good and complimentary for the customer to be free.Also the price for parking is 19 euro per day, which is too much. Should make some discount if take the place for more than one night. There is 200 euro deposit, which is not mentioned in the information. As well for 4 days we have no cleaning service, I mean not as changing of the sheets but even not mop of the floor or swiping or changes of trash.
