Location was very good, we walked to Boards coffee shop and Ono Hawaiian bbq for lunch / dinner - good prices and food. Everywhere else we drove. The communal kitchen was nice, a coffee machine served us coffee or mochas. It also has a toaster and microwave located there. The extra large frig was a good idea to have, but our small frig fit the bill. The staff was attentive and friendly, always a good thing! Rooms were comfortable and updated. Good lighting.

The one main deal breaker was the air conditioning unit. It's LOUD when it's running. They provided ear plugs to help with noise from outdoors. Ear plugs helped to muffle the sounds from the AC.

The overall stay was really nice. Checking in and out was easy and flexible, and the whole place had a relaxed and comfortable vibe—it didn’t feel hard to approach or get used to.

I first stayed for 5 nights, then extended for another 4 nights, and later postponed my check-out again. Overall, the experience was great. The only thing that confused me was that someone came knocking on the door on my check-out day, even though I had informed them in advance about extending my stay and checking out later. Also, the soundproofing isn’t great. During the last few nights, I could clearly hear people talking—and even snoring—from the room next door.

It doesn't come with the same amenities as a usual hotel, but if all you need is a stylish room in a great location with no fuss, then it's perfect. Good to have a small, but useful gym too.

Can be nosiy being in the main road and at weekends you can hear loud music, but they do supply free ear plugs.

Perfectly located on the Santa Monica Boulevard just a 20 minutes drive from the Pier. Easy check in and check out. Great room for 3 people (we got a 4 bed room). Common rooms available for laundry, cooking and gaming. Very practical when you have been on the road for a few days. One large drawer pr bed in the room with the possibility to put on a padlock, for your personal stuff, if you should share a 4-bed room with untrustworthy people ;-)

Challenging to find the garage (take the small passage to the left of the hotel and find your way doen to the parking in the alley), and I think we paid $36,- a night, which might be good for LA, but still high. Bad waterpressure in the shower.

The room is bigger than I expected, and the place is very clean. I stayed there for 7 nights, and they cleaned our room daily, which was really great. There is also a common kitchen area where you can heat food in the microwave (though there are no plates), and free coffee and hot chocolate are available. The front desk staff is responsive and helpful. Additionally, there is a guard on the ground floor, which makes you feel very safe. You can contact the staff using their internal website, so there’s no need to ask for everything via phone or face-to-face.

The room is quite far from the elevator. There are some outside sounds that can enter your room, as well as noises from the neighboring room.

We stayed for 7 days and extended an extra day , our stay was perfect! Great location near restaurants and 7 eleven, many parking options ( paid and free) and the neighborhood is safe and quiet. Rooms are clean , equipped with everything you need , cleaning service is available and great too , Staff is super friendly especially the night shift there’s this guy i forgot his name he is African American with curly hair , he was super friendly and nice , he helped us with check in , parking and the facilities in general. Other staff are great too. highly recommended and the price is very reasonable. we would definitely come back when we are back in LA.

Absolutely loved my stay at FOUND Hotel Santa Monica! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful from check-in to check-out. My room was spotless, spacious, and super-comfortable - perfect after long days exploring the city. The shared kitchen (with a fantastic coffee machine!) was a real bonus. Location-wise, it’s close to everything yet feels quiet, and I always found safe street parking. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Monica.

Everything was perfect!

After travelling in San Diego as a group of young girls we felt extremely unsafe . It was therefore so important for us to pick a hotel in La where we not only felt safe in the location but also the staff - the staff here could not do enough for us , they made us feel so safe and so comfortable. The location we also loved - walking after dark to the hotel we had no problems . Located also so close to Santa Monica pier and very easy transport to get to Hollywood , Beverly Hills etc

Great 3-night stay at this hotel. Comfortable bed, mattress on the softer side. My room was spacious, and the bathroom is nicely renovated with good lighting. Good pressure in the shower. My room was on the main road, but there's little noise at night—plus the hotel left ear plugs in the room in case of need. If you stay here, you must try Darya restaurant across the road. Fantastic Persian food. I ate there two nights in a row.

No complaints.

Rooms are newly remodeled, very clean and nicely decorated. We have stayed 3 days as family with 2 teenage kids and room size was really good to accommodate us with large luggages. Personnel are very helpful and kind.

Room walls have almost no isolation, we can clearly hear the conversations from next door. We have had a stressful night due to guests in the next room have a noisy “bed activity”. If not with kids we wouldn’t care that much but families planning to stay there bear this risk in their mind. Beside front desk, personnel are very nice and welcoming, I really can’t say anything bad for the hotel beside noises from neighbor rooms.
