We didn’t use the breakfast but the employees went above and beyond to give us great service. Very nice people and the swimming was great along with the hot tub. It’s not as nice as some I have stayed in but the employees made up for it. Would recommend this motel.

What I found is that they don’t clean as much asI would like to see. There was a spill on the front of the sink that had not been cleaned. There was a fire hazard with all the electrical cords being put into a power strip, to use the coffee maker I had to unplug the mini fridge and plug in the coffee machine.

The guy who checked us in was awesome!!! Beds were comfy, room was clean. Did not try the breakfast. Overall the stay was nice.

They are fixing to switch over to another company so it felt like they were just getting by. Pillows were small, like throw pillow size, was told towels were limited. But when new company takes over in 2 weeks, all new items coming. I will try again after that.

The room was comfortable, clean & secure, we had a warm welcome from the paperfolding (supposedly for the kids...) Mitch, who was amazingly helpful telling us about everything to see & do in the area. Located right across the street from the Royal Gorge Route Railroad & a few minutes walk from places to eat in Canon City & a short drive from the famous Royal Gorge Bridge & Park it is a convenient overnight stop.

Great location downtown, close to restaurants and the river park.

I just prefer a motel where I can have a very short haul to my room. Had to go in the main lobby and up the interior. And I don't think the toilet had been cleaned. :(

Friendly staff. Mitchell at the front desk provided us with useful information about the area. We were able to walk to the Royal Gorge train station from the hotel. Saved us the hassle looking for parking at the train station.

Breakfast was so so. The Staff person greeting us was very friendly and welcoming. She had wide knowledge of the area and exceeded our expectations in offering suggestions of places to go eat and visit. She was very helpful and anticipated our every need.

Great location. Walking distance to town (restaurants, bars, etc). Beds were comfortable and good parking. Pool was average but still nice.

They need to fix the bathroom door in the pool area. I almost got locked in but luckily had my phone to call the front desk for help. Luckily she came right away!

The staff were super helpful. Although the Lodge itself had seen better days, it had a cosy sort of feel.

Breakfast choice could have been a bit more varied, but otherwise pretty decent.

The staff was awesome. The chair and ottoman was the most comfortable resting place for me (a 69 year old man, riding in on a Harley-Davidson) of the three hotels where I stayed on my trip, even though the others were higher rated. This hotel was a great value for the money, and I booked last minute, during a festival week in town.
