Location and setting of resort.

They try to charge again for the resort fee which we already paid off.

The location was great, its right on the Eastern side of the island just slightly north of the airport. It has a front desk to check in with an attendant who provided us with a door code for our room. It had a microwave and a slightly larger dorm style fridge with a sink and plates and cups. Its actual location was about halfway between the North Shore and south part of the island. The property itself was better than expected it right on the shore of line of a beach. The beach surf seemed a bit rough to swim in yet did see a surfer or two. Most of the rooms looked it like it had a view of the beach from the balcony along with views of the pool area. The pool was simple and had a walk-up bar, no restaurant. There was a small-town center with food option walking distance across from the front parking lot.

We had gotten a third-floor room and didn't realize that this property didn't have any elevator, thus had to carry our luggage to the 3rd floor using the stairs. Other than that, we had a good stay, it was quiet and seemed like a good value for the money.

My room was steps from the beach. Not a big room but it worked. Air conditioner worked great! Nice pool not big. No elevators. Staff was ok. Shower was hot. Grounds were nice!

Thought I better jump down here! Pool bar opens 3 pm not a real lively bar. The lady that worked there I thought was not very friendly in fact I never went back the rest of my vacation. Lots of chickens loud noises all night. The towel situation yes, only two towels ! I tipped the cleaning lady and she left me like 6! Oh the pool was also pretty small.

The outdoor amenities pool and tiki bar, laundry and right by the beach and Lava Lava Beach restaurant that had fantastic service and food. Bathroom was spacious in the room.

The rooms were clean, but very old looking and dated. Investment in paint and lighter furnishings to make it more bright would have made it perfect. The outdoor amenities and location far outway though the older small room.

Beautiful grounds. Nice pool area and Happy Hour at the pool bar. Nice beach, with occasional seals. Central location. Nearby shops and takeout.

No elevators. so plan accordingly if you can't handle stairs.

Location, grounds, amenities, pool, jacuzzi, laundry, desk service was very helpful, door code locking was good. Overall the room was clean but needs updating, looks somewhat tired.

Room was VERY damp, AC drained on patio, AC made room too cold. A leak from shower drIned onto the floor of bathroom. Sink so small it is hard to use. Mess of cords and plugs for charging was hard to use. Mattress was so so, old have used brighter lighting, couch crowded useable space.

The grounds

Nowhere on their website did they state that the pool bar would be under construction May 5th-22nd. The pool bar was one of a few reasons I chose this, as the ocean waves and wind on beach are strong so the pool would have been a nice spot. But instead, noise of construction tools filled the air so I didn’t even lay at the pool. A staff member in particular, a gentlemen, could seem to care less about customer service at the front desk

Location is amazing. Right by the beach, nice pool, pool bar. Staff were friendly, room was large with a really comfortable bed. We were also upgraded to ocean view which was great. The price is good for the hotel.

It isn’t possible to get a late check out or early check in, they said they’re fully booked. We had to move rooms due to AC breaking, and they gave us an option of 5 other ocean view rooms available.. so not sure if the late check out excuse was true. Rooms are a little outdated but they are very comfortable and for the price it is great.

We stayed here 41 years ago when we were married at Coco Palms. It was nice then, but it is fantastic now. Love the location. No restaurant on site, but that is not a big deal. We ate at The Sleeping Giant Grill and the coconut market place has restaurants and take away. The ABC store there also has very good meals for there or take away. We loved eating on our patio facing the ocean. The bar and happy hour especially was a great place for island drinks. Staff were amazing and the gardens beautiful.

Loved the location.....easy to travel to other areas, both north and south. Walking access to shops and restaurants. Loved being so close to the ocean - peaceful views from room and from the pool. Great walking area. Fantastic bed. Loved being on the third floor - quiet, with a wonderful view. Navigating the steps wasn't a problem for us.

Rooms are a bit dated - especially the bathroom, ceiling, and flooring....but clean.
